My daughter has been at Halifax Road for almost 2 years. The staff here are amazing, approachable and willing.


If ever there has been an issue such as once there wasn't enough staff to manage the ratio to children due to bad weather. The manager couldn't have apologised enough and resolved it too.


The girls who work with my daughter clearly take the time to get to know her given their feedback each evening. Some staff at our nurseries (not Kinder Haven) have been observed to be tired and lacking motivation! This is never observed at this nursery, everyone seems proactive and motivated which gives me as a parent reassurance our children are being appropriately taught as well as being cared for.

My child has been attending the nursery for almost a year now and we are happy with how settled they are. They have gained in confidence, interacting with other children and they thoroughly enjoy time at nursery. They engage in lots of different activities including the sensory area. Parents are encouraged
to get involved by attending sessions such as parents evenings and play sessions e.g. decorating biscuits.


I have recommended the nursery to a number of friends who now have enrolled their children at the nursery.

My child has attended Kinder Haven since September 2016. I am very happy with the nursery, my child has settled in well. There are a range of activities for the children to do, my child has brought home lots of paintings. Staff are very attentive, a report sheet is sent home everyday with child's activities,
food details etc. Overall, I am very happy with the nursery and the care provided for my child.

Brilliant friendly staff always attempt to help you and your children in any way they can. They care so much.
They have gone above and beyond to try help my daughter who has hearing issues.
The CCTV everywhere is such a good idea, you can go up into the parents room to watch your children play
and are always confident that they are safe.
Both my children absolutely love going here and have so much fun!
The soft play upstairs and the outdoor play space is fab!
Would recommend to anyone!

This nursery has provided exceptional care to our child and has contributed to his learning development from all aspects. Our child has been with Kinder Haven Halifax Road for over a year and has had two key workers as he has moved rooms, both have formed an instant bond with him and really gone the
extra mile to care for him and ensure us that our child is in safe hands whilst he is at nursery. I will be forever grateful for this nursery and it's brilliant staff, and I will be gutted when he eventually has to leave! Safeguarding is absolute priority and the dinners are always healthy, nutritious and filling for our child. He enters nursery excited and is always beaming with happiness when he is leaving with lots of stories about what he has done that day.

I have had 2 children attend Kinderhaven halifax rd with 1 child still there. I cannot recommend this nursery enough to any parent/carer looking for a safe and fun place for their children.
The rooms are perfectly equipped for the relevant age groups, the whole building is kept immaculately clean
and tidy and above all the staff are all fantastic. Meals are all freshly made and provide the children with a good healthy diet.
The children's days are full of variety, from story time, outdoor play in a safe/secure playground to indoor play on those rainy days in the sensory room plus much more.
The management are always visible and play a massive part in making this nursery the best there is.
I don't need to worry about my child when she's at Kinderhaven because I know she is very well cared for and I will learn all about her day from the staff when I pick her up in the evening.
The cctv in each room provides me as a parent with a sense of security and also allows me to watch my child from the comfortable parent room, playing, learning and enjoying there time at nursery.
I love this nursery and all it has to offer.

My daughter attended from being one. She is currently having a short break due to the back end of my maternity leave. She is super intelligent and learnt so much which can be attributed partly to the staff. They even helped with potty training and she was dry day and night by the time she was 2 (she
will be 3 at the weekend). She can't wait to go back and take her baby sister with her in about 6 weeks. She keeps telling her about it and talks about certain members of staff that she has built up a therapeutic relationship with that she says she really misses. She knows so many songs and her vocabulary and numeracy are amazing for her age. I would certainly recommend this daycare setting

Kinderhaven Nursery has been fantastic. My son started at 9 months and I was extremely nervous, however the staff have been fantastic and he has settled in really well. He has been in nursery for the past 3 week and I no longer feel as nervous when dropping him off. thank you so much Kinderhaven nursery

Excellent level of care. We have used the nursery for 2.5 years since it opened. All staff are amazing, caring and friendly. Both my children love going to nursery the activities they do are age appropriate and help them learn and develop. I have seen changes in them since starting nursery all improvements. The staff are fantastic, helpful friendly caring and fun and all take a genuine interest in the children and care for
them very well and attend their needs. The food is all fresh and homemade with a good variety of vitamins and nutrients in ensuring they are getting a bit of everything they need. Would not send them to another nursery, brilliant and never had even a minor issue.

After months of deciding when to start potty training the staff at Kinder Haven finally gave us the push we needed. Weeks later after loads of help and advice our son now is doing great and we could not have done this well on our own.
