During this time I can easily say the standards have become increasingly worrying, especially around the safeguarding of the children.
It seems the newer staff members are not providing the same level of care and have a blatant disregard to the nursery policies.
This is evident in the fact Mace Montessori Chiswick has been downgraded in their latest Ofsted report (March 2017) from Good to Requires Improvement.
Other parents at the nursery are doing the same.
I do feel saddened by the sudden downturn and decline of this nursery as it used to be such a pleasant environment for my little ones to attend.
Teachers are great, kind, caring and they have the children's best interests at heart. The children are learning and are happy but there is a high staff/teacher turnover and we felt that our son lacked stability as his teachers were constantly changing. I have no doubt that the children are cared for, but management needs improving! We were there from October 2015 - February 2017 and we saw a huge decline in facilities/services in the time we were there.
This really is an exceptional nursery.
My daughter has been attending the nursery for 2 years since she was just 6 months old and she loves it!
The staff are friendly and you can tell that they really care for the kids. My daughter's always happy to see them every morning and they've really encouraged her to develop her confidence. At the end of every day, the staff write up a daily sheet that details all the activities that the kids got up to that day. Also, the nursery provides a booklet every term that summarises my daughter's learning. It is an amazing book and it looks like a proper photo album!
The food is excellent and created from scratch every day. It's always very nutritious and there's a good variety which means my daughter is introduced to lots of interesting global cuisine.
The management is very committed and passionate. They are always prepared to go the extra mile to improve and develop the care for children, parents and staff.
The management team are supportive and answer any questions or concerns very quickly. Daily routines are fun and varied. Food/menu is great.
A great nursery, from baby to school ages.

I am very child-centred and believe every child is an individual, and it is our job as educators to help their personalities thrive by offering a vast range of experiences and enabling environments throughout their journey at the centres with us. I am very passionate about developing children's emotional literacy and think one of the most important things we can teach children is to identify and manage their feelings and expectations.
I like supporting my staff to understand how to deliver exceptional childcare daily and giving each child the best start in life by reminding everyone that you are never too old to learn something new or refresh what you already know. I also believe that parent partnerships form a key part of ensuring children thrive and develop.
My name is Miss Zenia, and I am the Assistant Centre Director and Room Leader in Preschool.
I am a Level 3 qualified practitioner. I have worked in childcare for 12 years, and at Busy Bees for the last 5 years.
