Oakley Nursery and Preschool

From when my daughter started here, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Made me feel at ease. Many preschools were not very flexible, but Oakley was very flexible with what hours I wanted. Nicest and most helpful preschool I have ever come across, and I did look into other preschools thoroughly, and I found that some of the other preschools were not up to my expectations. They do lots of fun activities with the children, and this is sent to us via the family app. Before lockdown, they would go to the care home and play there, which was lovely for both the residents and the children. Every day they give me a detailed briefing on how my child has been at preschool and everything they have done, which is lovely to hear. My daughter is a fussy eater, but since going here, she has now started to try other foods which is great. They have supported my daughter every step of the way through her journey here. It will be very sad to say goodbye to this preschool when my child goes to big school.

My child has been at Oakley for 2.5 years and I have been consistently happy with the service they provide. More importantly, she looks forward to going in every morning. All of the staff are friendly and helpful, and all obviously love spending time with the children. They have helped out with potty training and she often comes home with a new dance move or new knowledge which she has gained there. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

Oakley is an amazing, nurturing nursery. My daughter loves it here and I am happy to send her in knowing she is well taken care of. The facilities are small especially with regards to outside space, but this has never impacted negatively on my little one. And they tend to take the children out on trips frequently which is a lovely experience for the children. I would recommend this nursery to any of my friends and family. The management is very approachable and the staff are always happy to help and answer questions.

My son started coming to Oakley when he was 5 1/2 months old.

The baby room staff are absolutely fantastic. I was so frightened to leave my little baby there, but the staff really are amazing and I need not have worried. They formed a special bond with my son.

The staff at Oakley have looked after him with such care and attention. The intimate family feel of the nursery has meant that each member of staff that has worked there has gotten to know my son well.

Day to day, my son loves the activities they do both in and out of the nursery. Particularly the picnics in Knole Park and visits to see the residents at a nearby care home.

Staff turnover has been high at times, especially in the pre-school room, but I think this is usual in childcare. Each new staff member has worked hard to build up a relationship with my child.

My son is now 4 years old and has graduated preschool. I feel very sad to know I won’t be heading up to Oakley 3 times a week! It’s been a really fantastic experience.

I am very happy with Oakley Day Nursery and Preschool in Sevenoaks. Having 2 children, I have experience from all the rooms. Both kids thrived. They learned so much over the years. All the staff are helpful, attentive, polite and they respect each individuality. My youngest daughter is due to start school in September and is actually telling me how much she will miss her nursery and her teachers. Thank you to all the staff who has been brilliant in the past 6 years.

Absolutely fantastic place. Teachers were always attentive and kept us in the loop with everything.

It's a very inclusive environment and the kids there are really good friends. So much so that we are staying in touch with some of the parents so they can meet over the summer.

There's a huge focus on outside play, rain or shine, which I think is very important. They also go to a deer park, a library and a retirement home on a weekly basis.

The progress my kid has made since joining a year ago has been amazing and I am fully confident he is prepared for school.

Practical wise, the hours are perfect at 7.30am to 6.30pm, which is the longest I've seen. This makes it really easy for commuting. The location is perfect too, after drop off at 7.30 we're on a train by quarter to getting into London for 8.30. I can't recommend Oakley highly enough.

My little one was in a different nursery where the care was very bad so I moved her into Oakley. I can't fault Oakley Day Nursery, they are amazing guys.

My daughter has been going here for nearly 2 years and now my youngest daughter has started recently and settled in so well. The staff are fabulous, so friendly and professional my girls love it there. They are always doing lots of different creative activities which the children enjoy. They only have a small garden but really make the most of it. The nursery puts on lots of events throughout year which involves all the family, I thoroughly recommend it to any parents.
