Oakley Nursery and Preschool

The best place for my 15-month-old daughter with the most caring staff who go the extra mile to make her days special and allow her to thrive. She loves going there and can't wait to be dropped off every time.

A fantastic preschool! If any doubts, just stand outside at pick up and see for yourself: all children leave with big smiles on their faces, lots of anecdotes to share and hands full of marvellous creations.

My daughter has been at Oakley now for over a year. Was the best decision we made for our daughter as she was in another previous. The staff at Oakley are the most kindest, friendliest and loving to our daughter. She asks every day when she’s going to nursery. She loves it. She loves the food and the activities (they have such fun activities in the day for the little ones); she adores every one of the ladies at Oakley. The hours are great for us, and can always help/accommodate if we need an extra day or half on top of her normal days. The love and care they give her is amazing! Thank you for everything you continue to do with her.

He is so settled; I hate the idea of him ever leaving to go to primary school.

We have two children at Oakley, one in toddler and one in preschool. They both started at about one year old, and they (and we - the parents) love it. It is amazing to send both children off each morning knowing they will have fun, eat well and just generally be loved. I am also amazed by how much my eldest has learnt - his phonics and maths are really good now. The only slight drawback is a relatively small garden, but it is used inventively, and I know the children get to go on trips and the play park as well, so it doesn’t worry us. Thank you, Oakley!

Oakley Nursing cared very well for my toddler twins. The settling in session helped to prepare them well, and the boys always came home with smiley faces. Meals are balanced and nutritious. Staff continuity is very good. The nursery kept us well informed about activities the boys have done via the app. We've been very happy with the care the boys received. The nursery has a very home from home feel, which we liked.

Oakley provides a home from home experience for the children that attend. The greatest asset to the nursery is its staff, who really do go above and beyond. During the first lockdown of the pandemic, we continued to receive messages from staff seeing how my daughter was getting on and checking in despite the nursery being forced to close. The staff treat the children as individuals and have always listened and made adjustments where they can.

My daughter loves it at Oakley. She has come on leaps and bounds with her learning since she started. She will continue onto pre-school here for sure. I can only thank the staff for taking such good care of her and encouraging her to learn and interact with the other children.

My little boy has been at Oakley for about 7 months now and I couldn't be happier with the quality of care he receives. I have noticed a huge change in him since he started, handovers are a delight and I love hearing about his day. All the staff are the best, very approachable and I am always kept fully informed through the Famly app. Overall I am very happy with everything this nursery has to offer and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Oakley to anyone.

After loads of research and emails sent to various nurseries, Oakley was the only one that answered our questions. On top of that, the great reviews were a plus in helping us make a decision. Our daughter is happy and the progress she has done regarding speech and relations with people around her is amazing. All the staff are absolutely fabulous. Not only looking after the children but preparing them for school. I highly recommend Oakley Nursery and Preschool!

My little boy started at Oakley at 6 months old and he's now 13 months and I couldn't be happier with the care he receives from the ladies that work at Oakley. I have loved every minute of the updates I received throughout the day and cannot thank that staff enough for the care they give my little boy.

Oakley has been our children's family away from home these past 3-years. The genuine love and care of all staff for our children have been an amazing support to us as working parents. Our daughter joined Oakley’s in November 2019 and has loved every minute of it. There’s a lovely family feel and the staff have always been so friendly and caring. We appreciate the variety they pack into a week and have loved seeing photos of our daughter enjoying yoga, phonics, walks to Knole Park, mud time in the garden, etc! The team were also really good at communicating during full lockdown and putting measures in place for the extended opening in June. Our daughter comes out every evening with a beaming smile and you can’t ask for more than that!

I was so happy to find Oakley Day Nursery after a bad settling experience at another Sevenoaks nursery. Over the 12 months that my daughter has been at Oakley, she has blossomed into an independent little girl, with good communication skills and happy outlook on life. She looks forward to nursery every morning, which is so wonderful to see. The staff at Oakley are thoughtful, professional, caring and compassionate. My daughter (now 22 months) has multiple allergies and the staff have worked so hard to ensure she has a well-balanced diet at nursery and a good variety of meals. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff and I don't think I could have chosen a better nursery.

My son really enjoys nursery - staff are warm, friendly and caring and I have full confidence in them. My son started nursery aged 3 and is now nearly 5 and ready for school. He is confident and outgoing and a lot of this is due to Oakley Day Nursery. Thank you. It is also good value for money. They do good outings like to the park or library.

We have had a great experience with Oakley Day Nursery and Preschool since our son joined at 11 months old. He made a lot of friends and always looks forward to going in. The staff are excellent, positive and caring. We can only recommend it to other parents.

The space has a lovely, homely vibe, and they make use of every inch in such creative ways, the garden is just right for the kids with lots of fun outdoor toys.

My daughter recently started at Oakley, and I couldn't be happier with my decision for her to do so. Their level of professionalism, care, attention and adherence to safety guidelines during these testing times, has been outstanding. My daughter absolutely raves about her new friends and the friendly staff, and they have put my mind at ease regarding her transition into reception in September. Our daughter has loved every second of nursery at Oakley over the last 12-months. The staff are all really friendly, and they're attentive both to each individual child's bespoke needs and each family's circumstances. Their handling of the coronavirus has also been outstanding.
