Banana Moon Day Nursery Baddesley Ensor

My two daughters went to this nursery. My eldest had been at a different nursery and then when we moved and I sent her here to Banana Moon. I cannot fault them! The staff are absolutely amazing, I got to know them all, it was different to where we had been before. You actually get to know the people looking after your children and they were honestly amazing. I had complete trust, the manager was always there to speak to you if you ever needed something. I could message them and they would always respond to me or someone would always be there to answer the phone. My second daughter was born and then attended the nursery. She had a dairy allergy and they were brilliant with her. Everything was segregated but she never missed out on anything. There were always alternatives for her. The girls did so many things whilst they were there. Walks to the woods, playground, bakery, church etc it was fantastic for them! Definitely the best place to send your children! We miss it so much!

He instantly bonded with the staff in the baby room when he first started, and we could tell from day one that it was a right fit for him. The play, activities and learning were all brilliant. It seemed like they were learning him something new every day. He has now since has moved into the toddler room. He instantly seemed like he was at home, as he transitioned from one to the other. He bonded so well with the toddler staff and, again, have nothing but nice things to say about them. Rarely a day goes by where he doesn’t excitedly tell me, chapter and verse, of what he has done that day with a big smile on his face in the car on the way home. In fact, if I ever pick him up a bit too early for his liking he’s not happy with me, as I think he would prefer to stay for a bit longer. (I had no idea I was such an inconvenience to him). Thank you, Banana Moon, Baddesley team, for always making it a happy place to be.

They have a good balance between running it as a business whilst trying to be as helpful and flexible as possible around the demands of busy working parents. The boys have always been very well looked after there and we received a lot of additional support with my eldest's behavioural development a while back. Communication is really good and the app is updated with lots of info and pics throughout the day. My youngest particularly loves the garden and going on the mini trips around the village to parks, farms and the library. We're really sad to be leaving!

My children came from another nursery to Banana Moon, and although they have not been here for very long, the staff have created bonds with my children, and they both enjoy attending. I cannot thank all the staff enough for making all of us feel welcome and helping my children to transition to this nursery from their old one, and getting them ready to attend school. We only wish the children could have attended for longer!

The staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery have been fantastic, our little girl is just going through her settling sessions to move from the baby room into over two's and everybody has been great. The baby room team are talked about with such love when we get home and I am sure that it will be no different once we are fully into over two's.

Banana Moon has always gone above and beyond for my little boy. My son has special medical needs, and the nursery has been amazing to support him while in the nursery. The difference within a few months is amazing, and that’s all down to the girl's hard work and love they have for all the children. The team at Banana Moon are like family in our eyes.

Although a small site, the nursery really maximises how they use the space and get the most out of things, utilising everything at their disposal. This is something that stood out when looking at different nurseries for us, often others would have much larger spaces but didn’t talk about even half the things that Banana Moon did. And we see those things happening - great job!

Since my son started in October I have noticed a huge change in the way he interacts with me and others. The nursery provides an excellent service in all aspects. I Would definitely recommend it. As a first-time mom I was worried about leaving him but the nursery is very understanding and keeps you up-to-date

Good security measures and communication.

The Nursery has been excellent in supporting my child from the first day but especially, during the last 5 months. Everyone has gone out of their way to make sure that they don’t miss out on activities and provide additional support where needed. Cannot praise the staff group enough for being the 'parent' of my child while they are in their care.

My son attends Banana Moon currently in the baby room. He attends twice a week and very much enjoys his time there. The team working at Banana moon are lovely and I know when I drop him off in the morning he will be looked after, kept happy and safe until I return. The nursery is small, but this allows all the children to get to know each other and all of the staff. A big plus point for this nursery is the app they use to keep us updated. I love getting my daily photos of the activities my son has been involved in. The other big plus point is the opening times of 7.30am to 6.30pm gives us the flexibility we need to ensure we can complete a full day at work without having to worry or rush back to collect him. Where others locally would charge extra for the last hour of the day. A big thank you to the staff for all they do for our son.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon Baddesley Ensor for over 12 months and has flourished within all areas of her development. She really enjoys the social aspect of nursery life and interacting with all of her 'friends' she talks about particular staff members and always has fond things to say each day when coming home. Lots of lovely activities are carried out with the children each day and we see this through the parent app which is a great tool and feature for working parents who can simply check onto the app during the day to see how their child is getting on with lovely photos to make you smile. Most of all she is having fun - whilst learning too!

My daughter has really blossomed since joining Banana Moon. The staff are so caring, lovely and friendly. They really create strong bonds with the children and then keep constant contact with parents/carers through the app. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nursery. My daughter started at 18 months old so she's experienced 2 of the groups so far.

My daughter attends Banana Moon in Baddesley and she loves it there. She has been going since the end of Maternity leave when she was 10 months and is now 2.5 years old. She has friends there and the staff work hard with her on her development and offering lots of activities to encourage her and keep her stimulated. They have lots of outdoor time and 'messy' play. The food is prepared on-site and is fresh which is a huge positive for me. The nursery manager is fantastic and the other staff are all very nice. I feel that my daughter is well looked after and safe. I hope to be able to send my younger child there also when I return back to work.

My daughter has only been going here for a few months, but I am already seeing great progress, the staff are so lovely and friendly. I always feel at ease when dropping her off, and the tears are starting to fade away as she becomes more settled. I love getting the updates through the app and seeing the fun they get up to, especially in these unusual times, it's great for my daughter to be able to socialise with other children.

The staff provided story session by Zoom, something they didn’t need to do, but it’s those little touches, going over and above what they need to that makes this nursery so special.

The nursery handled the whole pandemic really well keeping us regularly updated with any updates they had. After 6 months off, my son returned and within days was walking (he was a roller before the closure). His communication has come on so much and he seems to really enjoy it there. I love the updates we receive throughout the day with photos of what he has been doing and what he has eaten (the food is great). All of the staff are lovely and I am so glad it was the nursery we picked! Thank you to all at Banana Moon.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon for two years. She really enjoys it and loves going. I have always felt that my child is safe, cared for and progressing really well through learning. I believe she has gained better confidence and learnt things much quicker from the support and care she has been given by Banana Moon. The staff are always kind and welcoming.

This is a great little nursery, the staff are excellent and its a very personal experience. It's like dropping off our children to a family member. The children have come on so much since starting, from education to helping toilet train, to just general love and care, they have really helped support the development of our children. I can clearly see how hard the staff work to look after and help the little people grow. They encourage outdoor activities in any weather, and all of the children are provided with all in one suits so they are dry and comfortable.

The staff at Banana Moon are all so welcoming! My son's key worker and other staff in the under 2's room have helped him settle in so quickly - he now happily goes in each day with no tears. They always report positively and realistically at the end of each day. There is a feeling that everyone there cares a great deal about each child.
