Kindred Wanstead Nursery and Pre-School

Nursery is wonderful and modern after refurbishment. Management is hands on and caring. It is a statement when management and teachers own children attend the nursery. Teachers are really watchful, only criticism is that they keep getting poached by other nurseries!

Kindred nursery is just fantastic! Their staff and management are just outstanding. You can see they really care about what they do and they try to go above and beyond with everything. Our daughter is thrilled to go to nursery every day and for us and this is very important as we know she's in really good hands. We have seen enormous progress in our little one since she started. Management is always very quick to respond to any queries and all cares are very kind and caring with our little one. The nursery facilities are great and there is plenty of space for the kids so you don't feel it is overcrowded. I couldn't recommend Kindred enough!

Our whole family is thrilled with Kindred Wanstead. The management is exceptional, and the care is loving and wonderful. We moved from another local nursery, and the differences are like night and day! I was really worried about making the move over, but am so glad we did. Our little girl has thrived; it's a home away from home for her, and she has gained so much confidence from being in this environment.

Fantastic and friendly staff. Really nice outdoor area for the children to play and explore in. My daughter looks forward to going which is a stark difference from her previous nursery. Thank you for all your efforts.

The quality of care at this nursery is unprecedented. Every team member are kind, supportive and understand young children. My daughter has attended since she was 10 months old. Even with the challenges of the pandemic and a refurbishment of the facility, my daughter adored coming in each day. She often surprised me with how much she has learned there with well planned activities to keep them fascinated.

Our son has been at Kindred Wanstead for a few months now and we (and he) couldn't be happier. After moving from another nursery in a neighbouring borough that was much more expensive, it's been a real breath of fresh air. The first thing that struck me about this place is how great and professional the staff are. They always know what's happened throughout the day and seem genuinely engaged and invested in the children. Communication and information is plentiful, meaningful and often insightful. We were also able to get a place with relative ease which was a real pleasant surprise!

My 3-year-old son has been attending Kindred Nursery for the last six months and had the best experience. The nursery is very friendly and welcoming, and the staff are all loving and caring. The environment is very safe, my son is always well looked after, well-fed, and always leaving the nursery with a smile on his face. All the staff members had a big positive impact on my son's life, and we will remember them forever. I would highly recommend this nursery to all the parents.

Our son currently attends the nursery and while there have been changes since our daughter attended, our opinion remains the same - management and nursery staff continue to be professional, caring and supportive, and the learning is great! In particular, we have needed additional support as our son has additional needs. Kindred have been fantastic in supporting our son and being flexible with his needs. They are more than happy to work with us as his care needs change and we are thrilled to see that he is happy and settled.

Kindred (Wanstead) is a warm, nurturing and positive environment for little ones to learn in. The staff are wonderful and are truly loved by the children in their care. They offer a home away from home feel and go out of their way to answer your questions in a timely response. It’s been a joy for my daughter to attend and be part of such a wonderful learning and playful environment and community.

Due to COVID, it was a difficult time for a child to start at nursery (August 2021), but the staff made us feel very much at ease from the word go. They were very supportive in the onboarding process when we had lots of questions, allowed us to look around the nursery prior to joining, and kept us well informed on our child's settling-in days. Our child thoroughly enjoys her days at nursery and is very happy with the members of staff - they all know her name and greet her joyfully each day with a big smile, which she loves! We are very pleased with the way that Kindred Wanstead accommodates our specific requests and works to ensure that our child is as happy as possible. There is a wide variety of healthy and tasty food on offer, which we are most impressed with. The managers are very accommodating with additional days and were also most understanding when we have to change to different days entirely. All things considered, we would have no hesitation in recommending Kindred Wanstead.

Our son has absolutely thrived since starting nursery at Kindred. The staff obviously adore him, and he clearly adores them right back. His key worker is an absolute treasure. Seeing him put his hands out to go to her on arrival, or for one last cuddle when leaving for the day, is exactly what you hope for when your child starts nursery. We are kept well-informed, with regular updates via an app about everything he does during the day; we get photos and long text posts recapping each week; and long chats at pick up each evening. We chose this nursery sight-unseen, as we were making the choice during the height of COVID, and had no way to tour nurseries. We trusted the opinion of a friend who was able to view it just before the pandemic hit, and we are so glad we did. Our little guy has come on by leaps and bounds since starting at Kindred, and we couldn’t be happier he’s there.

We couldn’t be happier with the nursey. The children are happy, engaged, kind and developing really well. Staff are kind and supportive and we get a real sense of care. They regularly ask for feedback and take action to make us as parents feel really involved.

Our son adores his nursery, his key workers and all his friends at nursery. We are so happy and couldn't recommend Kindred high enough.

Our four-year-old daughter rates Kindred 100/5 and when asked she has said her favourite thing about the nursery are the teachers. She joined Kindred during lockdown so we were unable to visit but a video call as part of her settling in was a great idea. The nursery managers are very responsive with communication, the app is very helpful and the team all seem very friendly and happy.

I recall feeling very anxious about viewing the nursery in 2016. The manager showed me around and took the time to answer all the questions I had. There was something about how the children were interacting with their teachers. It was busy yet very calm! Everyone looked happy and content. I knew at the end of the tour that this was the right nursery for my then one-year-old who stayed on until she started reception. Our 2-year-old has been attending since he was one. During lockdown, we had a couple of meltdowns as he would get ready in the morning take his backpack and say 'me want to go nursery'. That says it all! Needless to say, he is back and he is enjoying it! We have no regrets, we are so thankful for the care our children have received.
