Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Crawley

We have been using Nuffy Bear nursery since 2018. First with my son who is now in school and with my daughter from 2023. The staff are fantastic. They know my children so well and always want the best for them. There is always something new to do when the children arrive in the mornings and they are keen for children to explore their interests and make sure they are school ready. The swimming lessons are something which you will not have at most nurseries and my daughter has gained so much confidence from them, as well as yoga and football sessions, arts and crafts, imaginative play etc. I cannot recommend them enough.

My daughter has been attending Nuffield since April 2025 and I couldn't recommend them enough, the girls are all so lovely and my daughter has developed massively since being there, I always feel informed with her progress and get regular pictures of what she's been up too

Our son started NuffyBear when he was 2 years old. We were initially quite nervous entering him into a childcare setting as he had suffered with health conditions and had only ever been left in the care of his grandparents for short periods. During our initial visit to NuffyBear, the assistant manager Albie was very reassuring they could cater to the needs of our Son ensuring a detailed care plan was in place. Our first impressions were that the nursery was exceptionally clean, and the children all seemed happy and thriving and the staff seemed attentive and genuinely caring towards the children, which was also reassuring. Our son had struggled initially with nursery drop offs and the staff have been extremely patient, kind and keen to help him settle, and within five minutes he would be happily dancing with the nursery assistants. Since starting NuffyBear, he has become more independent, and his confidence is growing daily. The staff provide him with everything he needs and more.

The staff particularly have been amazing. I see them now as extended family. They are knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They think up creative things to keep the children entertained and educated. There have been times as a mother, I've needed guidance and they have helped me every time. I will be incredibly sad to say goodbye to them all. I've trusted them with my child for years, and my Son loves them all too. I have and would completely recommend them. The beginning years are so important, and they were the perfect fit!

I noticed that this nursery was special when I first visited the setting. Overall, the atmosphere was positive, the children seemed happy and content, and the staff were very friendly. My daughter joined the nursery in December 2024 and the staff were so supportive in the initial stages to ensure that it would be a positive experience for our family. Looking back, I could not be happier with how well she has settled in. She adores her key worker, has made some new friends, and is constantly learning new things.

I am very happy with my son's nursery. The staff are lovely and I 100% trust he is in good hands when he is there. He has settled in well and doesn't cry when I leave him anymore, as he knows he is ok. He is 19 months old and in the baby section. Staff always keep me updated on their app and send regular updates about his progress.

Had a lovely experience so far with Nuffy Bear Nursery. Our daughter loves attending and has developed great relationships with staff. She is happy to go in each day and we get lots of communication from staff and photos of her progress.

The team at Nuffy Bear Day Nursery has made a real difference in our lives, and I'm so thankful for their dedication and exceptional care. It's clear that this is a place where children with all abilities are celebrated and supported.

This is the second time we have used Nuffy Bear Day Nursery and couldn't recommend it enough! Our daughter was there from age 1 till 4 and she loved it! The staff are amazing, as a first-time parent they were very helpful, understanding and made us feel at ease. Our daughter learnt so much and her speech and social skills improved massively while being at Nuffy. She was so ready for school and that's all down to Nuffy! She's also made some friends for life which we still see outside of nursery. Our son is currently at Nuffy Bear and he's loving his time there. Learning new things, trying new foods. When children turn 3 they are also entitled to start swimming lessons. We thought this was a great extra as most nurseries don't offer this. Our daughter now loves swimming which lessons really helped with. If you're thinking of joining Nuffy Bear - do it!

Such a lovely nursery where you can tell the staff really cares about the children. It is quite a small setting so the care provided feels very personal. My daughter took a little while to initially settle in however, the staff were so patient with her and kept me and her dad updated constantly all whilst reassuring us that this was normal. She has been going to nursery now for over a year and she absolutely loves it and is thriving! The app is also great for keeping us updated. Overall I would highly recommend this nursery to anybody.

Nuffy Bear has been such a great experience for my son. The staff are exceptional and have gone above and beyond to cater for his needs and help him with his areas for development. He loves going and can’t wait to arrive every morning.

My wife and I have had 2 children stay with Nuffy and both have loved their time. The staff have been fantastic throughout particularly during the difficult COVID period. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We have been so pleased with Nuffy Bear. The staff are wonderful, and we receive regular, on-the-day, face-to-face feedback. We’ve had two children at Nuffy and both have always really enjoyed themselves. It’s wonderful that some extra activities are included and the food is always a talking point each session! Thank you to the lovely staff who make it what it is!

Overall lovely team, shame about outside space, as well as the breakfast items don’t match the brochure. But my child is overall happy here and has fun during the day and has a lot to talk about on the car ride home.

Nursery manager and assistant are so open and friendly, they are always very helpful and understanding.

Outside space is small in comparison to other settings but enough my my girls.

I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Nuffy Bear Nursery they look after my two boys so well my youngest from 9 months old and I wouldn’t want them anywhere else. My eldest said to me in the car this morning 'I am so excited to go to nursery'. They never go in upset just always so excited and happy to see all the staff and cuddle them. They eat and play and learn so well there that we couldn’t feel more content to have our boys at Nuffy which has made going back to work both times so much more manageable knowing they are so happy where they are. The outside truthfully may be ever so slightly small but there is no doubt they make the absolute most of it playing games and with bikes and toys and the kids get to be outside all day whatever the weather so that certainly makes up for it.

Nuffy Bear Nursery is a perfect place for our kids, it is a very warm, comforting, welcoming and child-friendly environment and facilities. Very professional, kind and always smiling teachers. I feel like my kids are in an ongoing active learning process. I love their communication and the fact that it's very important for them to keep updating us parents. My kids are always happy to go, and once back home always remind me how good their day was and how happy they feel every time they attend the nursery.
