Georgina has managed our WDN Bilton Road nursery since 2019, having previously worked as deputy manager at WDN Regent Place. Georgina has a wealth of qualifications and experience, along with a seemingly endless amount of enthusiasm to enable children to become the best versions of themselves. She has the professionalism, kindness and passion that such a demanding role requires, and has been a driving force in moulding our Bilton Road site into such a welcoming and happy place.
Our Bilton Road nursery has a fabulous outside space, and this is where Georgina is in her element. The whole team love exploring the wildlife with the children, digging for worms, making bird feeders, and Georgina is full of ideas - and often out there in her wellies - to enable children to safely and happily enjoy this wonderful area.
Beckee has worked in childcare for over 8 years and has a real passion for the profession, and for ensuring that children are given the best opportunities to flourish and grow. Qualifying in 2021 as an Early Years Teacher, and now working on a PhD, Beckee works hard to keep her knowledge and skills up to date and ensure that developments in thinking and practice are conveyed to her team.
Beckee joined us as Manager at Wellingtons Regent Place, and took on the role of Operations Director upon Lesley's retirement in April 2023.
Beckee has helped to establish a true feeling of calm and stability within the Group and has gained a strong reputation for bringing out the best in her staff.
Beckee has lots of experience in early years and absolutely loves spending time in the rooms with the children, thinking up lots of messy and wonderful learning activities. If she isn't in a meeting, you will probably still find her in the rooms having as much fun as the children!
Lesley is a founding Director of the Wellington Day Nurseries Group, having worked with us since 2014. She brings with her over 30 years of childcare experience, a vocation sparked from volunteering at her son’s nursery and school, that led to working as a preschool practitioner and progression to nursery manager in that first nursery. Lesley then moved across to a college role as childcare teacher, moving up to Head of the Childcare department. This unique career gives us breadth and depth of experience in childcare and the Early Years curriculum, along with the very important requirements of staff training and development.
Lesley and her husband John have 2 children and 3 grandchildren, one of which may well follow in her (Wellington) footsteps. When not at work, Lesley loves spending time at the seaside, relaxing with a glass of something bubbly while watching the sea.
Lesley Retired in April 2023.
