Smart Kids Nursery & Childcare

The staff we have contact with are all extremely friendly and know the children in their given rooms very well. All the activities are child/baby led and really work towards child development and encourages individuality. The children are encouraged to partake in activities which they enjoy as well as activities they wouldn't necessarily choose. All in all a fantastic experience for my child.

Her confidence has grown, she has learnt good manners and good behaviour with her key worker.

My son has been coming to this nursery since he was 9 months old. He is now nearly 3 years old and he throughly enjoys coming to this nursery. The staff are fantastic! Very welcoming and always give me a good breakdown of his daily activities, how he has been and how well he has eaten. This helps me out a lot and also gives me the assurance that he is well looked after and is enjoying his time there. I often see improvements in his learning and development skills due to his nursery activities etc. There have been moments where I have come to pick him up from nursery and he doesn't want to leave because he's enjoying what he has done at the nursery. Great nursery, I highly recommend.

You are always welcomed with a smile and given a run down of your child day. Communication between key-worker and home is fab with updates being asked for on a regular basis. My child's progress is discussed often with the opportunity to work together to encourage other skills. All staff are very approachable and it says so when you have to talk your child into going home!!

I have been nothing but happy since day one when my daughter started nursery. The staff are lovely and the nursery seems to run very well. My daughter is always very happy and full of things to tell me when we pick her up :) I have never doubted she's in good hands :)

My son enjoys the nursery every day and always leaves with a smile on his face. There are lots of activities and he particularly enjoys the sports activities. He enjoys the meals that are provided, and he is well looked after.

Nursery has a good room plan. All children are divided according to age and have all appropriate activities/facilities in the room. The staff are conscientious yet encourage the children to develop. I am pleased with the individual progress files, very helpful.

All my children have attended this nursery and it was very good when my first child attended and I have seen it improve even more and maintain that quality. The staff are friendly and very approachable. They genuinely care. There is continuous improvement which is reflected in the way my child learns and develops.

My son really enjoys going to nursery and I think this is because the staff are really friendly and always find new creative ways to keep the children interested. They have high standards which makes you feel comfortable leaving your child. The meals are great, which is good news as my little one loves his food. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Another thing I'll be very grateful to them is when my daughter was in the 2 room she wasn't eating by herself and staff did wonders and encouraged her to eat by herself and now she does they teach children to be independent which is very important to.

My son has been coming to Smart Kids since he was 6 months and he is now nearly 3. My daughter also now comes. The nursery is very clean and professional. The security is excellent and the staff are amazing. My kids love coming here, my only down fall would be the policy in medications. As the child can't come into nursery for 24 hours if they have had medicine at home or that medication has to be re prescribed if a month stored at nursery. However saying this, this does not effect my feelings towards the nursery. My children have excelled in the achievements and are beyond there years. Which I believe is do to Smart Kids.

Smart Kids has been incredibly supportive with my both kids especially with my son who has a speech delay. They accommodated him very well and we can truly see the difference at home. Cannot recommend and thank them enough!

We are very grateful for the amazing care our daughter has received at this nursery. Since moving there from a different nursery in Preston she has developed so much and the care provided is far superior in every area. The whole set up of the nursery is totally professional and the communication to us as parents has been fantastic. We look forward to seeing how she develops now she is in the 2's room and hearing how much fun she has had.
