Doodle Do Day Nursery

Prior to sending my daughter to Doodle Do's we'd had a very poor experience with another childcare provider and were really concerned she wouldn't settle into any childcare setting. We needn't have worried; the kindness and patience of the staff at Doodle Do's meant that, despite a few tears at the start, she has settled into the Pre-Toddler room so well. She's so happy in the mornings that she's going to nursery and we pick up a happy, confident and fulfilled little girl in the evening. She really enjoys the range of activities on offer, especially messy play, singing nursery rhymes and playing in the garden. As a mum, I feel really comfortable knowing my child is being cared for so well and am so grateful to the staff.

From the first step, I like all staff and the atmosphere. Whoever I've met since, now they’re really friendly, smiley faces and look like they try to help all the time. My son's happiness is so important for me and he seems so happy in here. Thank you very much Doodle Do Day Nursery family.

Excellent Nursery. My son has been attending since he was two, he is turning four now. It had been lots of “cry cry” from the beginning but now he enjoys every stay. This makes you know how much effort the nursery had put in, very impressive and I appreciated it very much.

My daughter has been at Doodle do for a year, since turning 2 and has loved the toddler room. The staff are all so friendly, kind and warm, and she has made great friends and comes home chatting about her day. Two months ago my son who was 10 months joined too. This was a difficult decision but we wanted him to have a chance to interact with other babies his age as all baby groups have been closed for most of his life. We needn’t have worried. Staff in the baby room are absolutely exceptional. As soon as she took him under her wing, she (and the other staff) have cared for him amazingly. He is always delighted to see her (and she greets us at the door every time we arrive). He comes out full of smiles. When I have worried she has phoned regularly and given updates or sent pictures. His development has come on leaps and bounds and he is standing (and claps himself when he does because that’s what all the girls in the baby room have been doing each time he stands.) We would highly recommend it.

Staff are fantastic. Our duaghter loves going to nursery, she sings songs at home that she has learnt that day and always leaves with a smile on her face. Her keyworkers have been great at settling her back in again after a tough year.

My son started at Doodle Do in September 2020 when he was 12 months old, and he was very nervous with new people and the new environments (having spent months at home with just me and my partner, due to the pandemic/lockdown etc). The nursery staff were brilliant - although it took him a few weeks to settle in, his key person was lovely, kind and supportive. Now he has great fun there, and he's learned so much and has come out of his shell. We are incredibly grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Doodle Do!

Both of my young children have attended Doodle Do and it is a setting I have the utmost faith in. The staff are extremely accommodating, friendly and supportive and are always willing to help. I find the positive approach and 'can do' attitude of the staff welcoming and reassuring especially in times of uncertainty.

We didn't have an easy start as we moved from another nursery we weren't happy with. My child was always crying, and communication with staff and management was difficult. After moving here, I don't have to worry about anything. The manager was amazing and made me feel I did a good decision. My child doesn't cry, and he really enjoys being there. The staff are amazing. They are doing a great job. I'm happy I place him in this nursery, as its such a relief.

The team at Doodle Do have worked so hard to settle our little boy into the baby room and he is now clearly thriving there. He is eating well, sleeping well and becoming more curious with every day there. He wasn't a great napper so the girls have worked wonders. We're so happy with our choice and know he loves his time at Doodle Do. It's such a great feeling sending him in smiling.

I was nervous about my daughter starting at nursery at 9 months old, but Doodle Do and the team have been fantastic. The transition has been easy so I am very grateful. My daughter's key worker is amazing! she loves her and it makes me so happy knowing she is in safe hands. She has come on so far in the last few months.

I'm incredibly happy with the way the nursery look after our son. He's always excited to go and really enjoys seeing the staff and playing with the other children. The nursery is always very informative and let us know what he's been up to during the day.

It makes me so happy to see how settled and content my son is at Doodle Do's every morning he is so happy to see the girls and greets me in the afternoon with a big smile after a great day of playing, exploring, enjoying his meals and his naps. I am so pleased at how much he enjoys his days at nursery it is wonderful to see him forming bonds with the team that I feel I know and trust now too.

We have had a wonderful experience with Doodle Do, the staff were very reassuring when our 8-month-old started and now he goes in with a big smile and has gained so much confidence with their support, he loves it.

My daughter has attended Doodle Do since she was 9 months old. She loves going into nursery and is always so excited to see her amazing teachers. The staff make all of the children feel special and loved. The activities that they provide the children are just amazing. I am always delighted about the things my little one has learnt during her day at nursery.

Doodle Do is a wonderful nursery. The staff always greet you with a warm smile, listen to your worries/fears and make your child feel so loved and special. They send photos of your child when they do special things (crawling/walking etc) and you get an email at the end of each day with food, nap time, nappy change and daily summary. Nothing is ever too much for the girls (and boys) who work there, truly amazing.

Absolutely wonderful nursery. Staff are fantastic. My daughter always comes home with a smile on her face. Would highly recommend.

My son has settled so well, thank you to the amazing staff in pretoddler for looking after him and giving him all the help and love in settling at nursery after all the time we have been away. Thank you to all the staff of Doodle Do Day Nursery.

I am extremely happy with the nursery, my son loves going to the nursery. All the management and staff are amazing, professional and lovely. He enjoys his time at nursery and everyone is so helpful. Thank you to an amazing team for looking after my son.

I'm aware that Doddle Do have undergone some management changes recently, and I'm really pleased that the manager has joined the team. She is really passionate about making the nursery the best it can possibly be, and has lots of ideas she wants to implement. Now that she has a full team in place I look forward to continuing to see these changes. The manager and the team really care bout the children, and have been great helping my son (and I) adjust to the nursery/back to work transition. They took brilliant care of my son when he was poorly too (and me)! Would be great to ensure that the new changes are implemented and remain.

Very happy with preschool for my son. The staff are brilliant, I cannot fault them, hoping it will continue with the new staff in preschool.
