Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool understands that giving children a positive and supportive beginning to their education sets them up to become confident, successful and most importantly, happy, learners. The nursery boasts a beautiful garden and rooms for all ages to explore.

Families are given regular updates of their child's progress, in person at pick up and through the family app. The team aim to work in collaboration to ensure that no achievement or milestone is missed. This gives families the peace of mind that they are involved in their child's care throughout their time at the nursery. The nursery was voted Good by Ofsted in the May 2023 review.

I'm very pleased with how my son is getting on at nursery.
It is a great thing to have confidence that he is well looked after and enjoying his time at nursery and growing and developing well.

My older child went to this nursery and it went through some bumpy times but has come out shining, in large part thanks to a stable and very competent manager and deputies leading an excellent team of individuals. My little one is 14 months old. She started nursery earlier than I had hoped and it took
some time for her to settle but the staff were amazing, allowing her to sleep on them and in their arms a lot. She has a dedicated key worker who is excellent with her, knows her and has taken a real shine to her. She is now fully settled and they help her to develop her language and skills. She doesn't cry at drop-offs and picking her up from the room I can see she is happy and likes the staff and from their debriefs I can tell they really know her. The refurbished environment is excellent. I'm so happy that she goes to Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool.

My little one has only just started here, but she has really come on in such a short amount of time. She had always been shy and quite reserved from other children at other settings, but here she’s now interacting and playing alongside her friends, which is amazing to see. The facilities are brilliant,
the garden being the favourite of my daughter!
The staff have been brilliant with her, encouraging and supportive.
My little one has an allergy, this has been taken seriously from day 1.
I’m very happy with how everyone has been towards myself and my little girl!

Bright Horizons Burgess Hill Day Nursery and Preschool is a wonderful place for my kid, he loves going to nursery. Staff are great and take good care. He made lots of friends and his speech improved. Personally, I would recommend the nursery.

My child has recently had some changes and the nursery/staff have been extremely helpful and supportive.
We love how the nursery communicates with us and the updates we get on a daily basis on what our children have been up to.
They cover a wide range of activities and learning which we are really
pleased with.

Burgess Hill Day Nursery is amazing, my little boy loves going, he is definitely in his terrible twos and they are so patient with him. You truly feel their excitement with every achievement and concern when he is not well. They are helping him develop using fun and play and letting him be him (even

Wonderful Nursery and pre-school. The staff are friendly, caring and fun. Our children are excited to go, happy on pick up and can't wait to tell us all about their days. The children take part in lots of learning activities and lots of arts/crafts and messy play. The nursery itself is a great space
and run really well. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

My son has been going to the nursery for seven months and he absolutely loves it there. From the start, the staff have been very friendly, enthusiastic and welcoming. They do some fantastic activities which have helped him get lots of new experiences. The rooms and gardens are spacious and yet comfortable,
providing a home-from-home feel with quiet areas and lots of things for them to do. They have gone above and beyond to give my son the best experience and care and I cannot fault the staff. I feel reassured that he is well cared for as the staff are in tune with the children’s individual needs. My son is always happy when I pick him up (and sometimes doesn’t want to come home!) I would highly recommend this nursery and couldn’t imagine taking him anywhere else.

I have a daughter in the baby room and a daughter in Toddler 2. They both go into nursery without a problem and they are both settled and happy at pick up time. My toddler is able to tell me about her day and all of the activities they do. She speaks fondly of the adults and the children.
I feel like
the staff knows my children well. I like the updates through the app and seeing photos of what my girls are up to.

We have two children who attend this nursery, both of whom are beautifully looked after by the wonderful educators who work here. We've moved through the whole nursery, from the baby room up to preschool and our older child has thrived in each room, as I am sure our youngest will too.
The nursery
was recently refurbished so the facilities are brand new and tailored to the needs of the children and there is so much space for them inside and out. As with all nurseries, it comes at a cost but it is certainly worth the cost in our eyes to have a setting so friendly, providing a good education, nutritious food from a chef and care catered to our kiddo's needs (where they run in the door and don't want to leave at home time!).
The management communicates well and are always visible within the setting, and is happy to give advice on anything you feel the need to ask about. They are reachable via the app too which is really handy if you're not the one doing pick up.

A wonderfully presented nursery and preschool. All rooms are bright, clean and modern, with excellent facilities.
The Montessori set up provides comfortable but spacious learning environments both inside and out for our son to gain confidence and thrive.
We cannot fault the staff, they are in tune
with the children and their needs. Always warm, welcoming, helpful and approachable but with a good sense of fun and enthusiasm.
Our son loves his nursery and we feel confident and happy with all aspects. We love hearing about his day from the staff and he loves telling us about all the activities he gets up to!

Staff very good and my son enjoys attending. We have had issues with Bright Horizons but not this individual nursery. There is lots of building works ongoing and at first glance looks like there will be many improvements. We look forward to seeing the end result. Hence some of the 3 stars.

I can't fault Rosebuds Montessori nursery. The staff are attentive and caring and will always go the extra mile to ensure the children are getting the best care.


My son has been with the nursery for the last year and 4 months and I would always recommend Rosebuds.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I worked in the early years for 20 years after gaining my level 3 qualification at college.


Whilst working at the nursery I also completed my BA in Early Years and my Early Years teacher qualification.


I have had experience working with children of all ages between 0 and 8 years old as well as being deputy manager, eventually progressing to manager which I have been doing for the last 12 years.


In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, crocheting and reading.
