Train Station Day Nursery

My little boy is thriving at Train Station nursery, he thoroughly enjoys his days in there. He has come on leaps and bounds with his socialising and his speech. All of the staff are wonderful, very caring and friendly.

We have found our experience of Train Station Nursery to be a very positive one. The staff have all been kind, caring and reassuring. They put the effort in and took the time to get to know my child and help them settle into the room and have even checked in when my child was off sick. The updates through photos and messages and the regular app updates have all been very reassuring and its been good to keep up to date with what activities they have done through the week and we enjoy bringing our childs arts and crafts home too. We have also enjoyed getting involved in the stay and play sessions. Communication with management has also been very easy and we appreciated the meeting with our child's key worker for an update on progress too.

I just want to say a big thank you to the manager for making the whole process in terms of registering my second child in to this nursery. As busy parents the whole process can be time consuming and worrying. However the manager was excellent in time management and communication skills in terms of registration, setting up the app and informing us if the days requested was available. I know many nurseries work on a first come first served basis regardless of if they have your deposit or not (a well known nursery), so thank you for making what could be such a stressful event so smooth and refreshing!

My little one has recently transitioned in to the preschool room. I am impressed with how smooth it went and the communication received from the staff within that room. The room leader messaged on the parents app asking about sleep patterns which was great as it shown they like to ensure they know each child's individual needs. They were also very proactive regarding potty training. Thank you for your continued care towards my little one.

Train station nursery has simply been in ace in how they have helped support my son in his development. Staff are always friendly, and accommodating. I will definitely choose train station nursery over and over again as a choice for my kids to go to.

While there were positive aspects to the nursery and most staff were warm and caring, we experienced ongoing difficulties with the approach of one particular practitioner toward our child. Feedback from this individual was consistently negative and did not reflect an age-appropriate understanding of toddler behaviour. Over time, this pattern became increasingly concerning for us and significantly affected our confidence in the care our child was receiving.

After a mealtime incident, we were informed by another member of staff that they had shouted at our child. What caused greater concern was that the staff member directly involved openly chose not speak to us at all that day (for reasons unknown), and communication was left to another practitioner. As a parent, this felt inappropriate and unprofessional.

In the weeks following this, our child exhibited ongoing signs of distress that were out of character for her,

Could not be more thankful for everyone at Train Station Day Nursery for everything they have done over the years! My daughter loved it, she's flourished & made some friends for life! But also built some incredible bonds with the staff too, who are all just amazing & take the time just to even ask how you are & interest in life outside of nursery!

Our son has been attending Train Station since November 2024 and we have been blown away by the nursery and all the staff from the moment we stepped foot in there. Staff cannot do enough for you and really seem to care about the children they look after. Communication is amazing and the atmosphere is always positive! Our son's confidence and speech has come on so much in such a short amount of time and we 100% feel that this is because of the nursery and the staff in his room. My child has been attending Train Station for several months now. I was able to get my child in on short notice and staff have been incredibly helpful and supportive with their transition. The staff in my child's room are wonderful, not only do I feel safe to come to them with any questions or concerns, but I also feel comfortable enough to enjoy a conversation and share a laugh with them! So far, I couldn't recommend this place enough, my child is happy, thriving and I'm enjoying watching their confidence grow day by day! There has been so much growth in all areas of development, talking, independence and social skills, in such a short amount of time! Thank you team, for your hard work and dedication!

Our daughter is very happy when she is there. The staff are very nice and always smiling. The prices are according to all that the nursery offers. We are happy to leave her there and we know that she is safe.

Train station nursery has been a really positive experience for my child. They have come along in strides since starting nursery. The staff are all really caring and attentive and ensure the best environment for the child. I frequently get updates on how they are doing.

I do think the new drop-off and pick-up method needs refinement, and it would be helpful to have more detailed updates on daily learning or play activities, perhaps as short notes or bullet points in the app. This would help parents keep up to date on the full range of fun and educational activities offered, and support these alongside at home.

What a wonderful nursery, my son was so happy here and this was down to all the fantastic caring staff. The nursery is run exceptionally and professionally and every room has staff that go out of their way to make sure your little one is happy and well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to anyone and will be sending my next child here. Great place with lovely passionate people.

All the staff have been amazing, and I honestly don't have a bad word to say about the nursery or the way my son has been looked after. He always comes home happy and excited to tell me about his day and what he's been doing. His confidence in all aspects has grown so much since starting here last year.

My daughter has been going to Train Station Nursery since she turned 6 months old. Her development and confidence through going to nursery is amazing and watching her reach milestones with the help of the nursery staff has been great. She thrives in everyday life and enjoys seeing her friends at nursery. The app gives you updates and information which puts my mind at ease whilst I'm not with her. I would definitely recommend the nursery as our experience over the last 2 years has been nothing but a joy.
