Leigh Lollipops Nursery has been a cherished part of Leigh Village Hall for over 40 years. Registered with Ofsted on the Early Years' Register, the nursery provides exceptional care for children aged 0 to 5 years. Every child is supported and encouraged throughout their learning journey to reach their full potential.
Nestled in a beautiful rural setting, the Nursery boasts a large hall divided into areas that promote learning and an enclosed garden for outdoor play, offering additional opportunities for children to extend their learning and have fun.
The dedicated team follows the Early Years' Foundation Stage (EYFS), which sets the statutory standards for the learning, development, and care of children from birth to 5 years old. Children learn through play, sometimes led by an adult and sometimes through independent play opportunities.
The Nursery actively prepares children for school by fostering skills such as social eating, toileting, expressing their needs, and dressing/undressing. They also enjoy outings to various places like farms, parks, and local walks.
Outside visitors, including parents, are invited to share their knowledge on various topics, such as pet care, local farming, the fire service, and healthy living. Additionally, peripatetic teachers visit weekly to lead other enriching activities.

The best playgroup/nursery setting in the area - extremely warm, professional, skilled, caring and welcoming staff who go the extra mile to ensure children have a happy and positive learning experience whilst at the playgroup. My daughter is thriving there. The outdoor area is outstanding.

Both of my daughters have attended Leigh Lollipops; I have been a parent since 2013. Lollipops is an inclusive environment which I've always felt is nurturing but still offers an excellent level of gentle discipline to support children as they prepare for school life. The staff are all so experienced and approachable that I've always felt confident leaving my girls in their care. The garden/outside space is a real attribute and it's lovely that you can be involved in their pre-school experience by being parent helper every term. I've watched staff offer tailored support to parents and children acknowledging that every child settles differently. It's a very happy place for children to have fun and learn.
Great in helping my son to settle quickly and he's very happy there.
Would definitely recommend.

Would definitely recommend.
My daughter settled so quickly, all the staff are friendly, caring and helpful. She talks fondly of the nursery and is excited to tell me about her morning. The nursery provides a wide range of activities and my daughter has learnt so much whilst having loads of fun.

In particular, the outdoor space is great for the children and unless the weather is horrific, they pay outside every day.
This is my second child to attend Leigh Lollipops and I cannot recommend the nursery enough.

Prior to my elder child starting at Lollipops, we had terrible problems settling him at another nursery and Lollipops were great at letting him take as long as he needed to settle and supporting me. He thrived in their nursery and made good friends. He loved the variety of activities and all of the staff. My younger child has started now, and again the settling in process has been designed to fit our needs rather than us being made to fit in with the nursery. It is quite a long commute for us to the nursery but I would not have chosen anywhere else for either of my children. It's worth travelling to ensure the best start for them.
My second child now goes to Leigh Lollipops and adores going. She is asking to go on the days she doesn't go! The staff are really caring and give excellent feedback. It is a lovely village setting minutes from Reigate. They do lots of great activities with the children, including special cooking and crafts. My daughter is constantly bringing things home in her tray. They do lots of extras with the children. They are working with her to develop her speech and her fine motor skills have really come along since starting there.
Such a wonderful nursery! Has a lovely small, family feel. The staff are very welcoming and caring and the setting is beautiful. I feel that they know my daughter very well. Lots of different activities that keep her busy. Every morning when she wakes up she asks if it's a 'Lollipops Day.' My...
