Stepping Stones Nursery & Pre-School (Claverdon) CIO

Our youngest daughter has been going to Stepping Stones for just over a year now and she is getting on very well. We are in no doubt that she will be confident, happy and more than ready to start school next year. We underestimated the importance of this with our eldest daughter but are very pleased with the way things are going the second time around.

I am so thrilled that I found Stepping Stones for my son and would highly recommend it to other parents. My son has taken a little while to settle into nursery, having never attended any activities independently before, and the time and care that has been taken in helping him to settle in and find his confidence has been extraordinary. The staff treat the children with true kindness and there is a real sense that each child is respected as an individual with their own individual needs. The activities that are arranged for the children are creative and engaging and the atmosphere warm and full of fun, thanks to the exceptional staff. My son absolutely loves attending Stepping Stones and I can’t envisage a better place for him to begin his learning journey.

My daughter attended Stepping Stones for 18 months, and my son started there last year too. I honestly cannot recommend it highly enough. We looked around lots of nurseries and pre-schools before my daughter started and in our view, there was absolutely no comparison. We felt that Stepping Stones had just the right mix of structured activities and time for free play and the staff take a genuine interest in the children, who love coming in each morning.

The staff are also great at recognising and accommodating each child's individual needs. For example, my daughter was very shy and cautious so the staff worked with her to encourage her relationships with other children, putting together small groups and encouraging the children to make eye contact and address each other by name. My son has a medical issue, which the staff have also handled sensitively. Both children have really blossomed during their time at Stepping Stones and it has prepared them wonderfully for starting school.

I can not recommend Stepping Stones highly enough. We visited a number of different settings before my daughter joined for her preschool year and we found their attitudes toward learning and care to be exceptional.

The staff are all wonderful and provide a happy and safe environment for the children to flourish and grow. My daughter loves spending time there which I think speaks for itself and her confidence and behaviour has improved massively since she started.

I would have no doubts whatsoever in recommending Stepping Stones for any little girl or boy.

My daughter has had such a wonderful experience at the time at Stepping Stones, it really is a happy place for children to learn and grow. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff who are always there when you need them. The best preschool I could have wished for to start my daughter on her journey to school. AMAZING!!!

Fantastic preschool and nursery, I cannot recommend highly enough. We looked around a number of preschools and this was by far the best. Our eldest son has had a brilliant preschool year and is now ready for school. The facilities are great and the staff beyond dedicated. We can't wait for our youngest to start.

I would like to write a quick review/recommend Stepping Stones to any parent/carer. My daughter has attended for a year now, and from day one has absolutely loved every day! The staff are wonderful with the children and very kind and genuine. They treat each child equally and you feel like they really care. The setting here is really lovely too with plenty of space both in and outdoors. My daughter has learnt so much in a short space of time and is so content here. I love the way they teach the children to share, be kind, keep healthy and happy. It's a very happy setting and the children's faces say it all. I would definitely recommend Stepping Stones, and I'm so glad my daughter gets the privilege of attending such a wonderful place.
