Stepping Stones Nursery & Pre-School (Claverdon) CIO

We are so pleased with how our daughter has settled in at Stepping Stones, it really feels like the most loving and nurturing environment. We’ve seen her confidence and happiness take huge leaps since she’s joined. The staff are all so caring and attentive, you really couldn’t ask for better. I would very highly recommend Stepping Stones to those who want a fun and loving environment for their child to grow and learn.

From day one, I felt our children were gently eased into settling into the nursery, which I'm very grateful for. I was impressed with how understanding and flexible the manager was, which I felt helped significantly. What I admire the most is the way this charitable organisation is run - trailered and prioritised towards both parent and child. I've always felt a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Credit to the manager, keyworker and the rest of the staff, who continue to be very caring and understanding. Thank you, and keep up the great work!

An absolutely fantastic nursery where staff go above and beyond to ensure that children have the best experience possible. All children have amazing opportunities, and the well-being of the children is at the forefront of everything that they do. We cannot find fault with any aspect of the nursery, and we feel very lucky that our child is able to have such a positive experience.

Outstanding. We decided to move our child to this fabulous setting to help him with his early years learning, and the difference in a week was incredible! He’s so happy to go to preschool each day, and we’re so happy we made the move. The teacher's expertise and care for each child in this setting cannot be faulted! We are the lucky ones!

Overall, I'm very happy with the provision of this nursery for my child. The staff are very caring, engage well with the children, and they provide a good variety of activities. My child loves to come and has lots of fun while learning.

We've had two children at Stepping Stones over the past 4-years, and both have absolutely thrived there. They are an incredibly caring, nurturing environment, with an emphasis on having fun, making friends and learning life skills. All children have the opportunity to take part in lots of additional activities and trips - yoga and multi-sports are both favourites here! - each week they learn something new. They are a very open and communicative team, always looking to support not just the children but the wider family too. I highly recommend Stepping Stones to anyone looking for a smaller village nursery with a nurturing environment and a real community feel.

Lovely nursery. Really friendly, kind staff. Great communication with parents. The nursery staff organise lots of interesting, engaging and, most importantly, fun activities for the children. A wonderful, social setting.

We have found Stepping Stones to be a warm, welcoming, nurturing nursery. Our son receives exceptional care and education - the setting has a lovely family feel whilst setting him up well for school. I have felt comfortable leaving him from the first day, and all the staff are excellent; they are kind and bring different interests and activities, which makes for a creative and nurturing environment. Fully recommended.

I moved my daughter from another nursery where she hadn’t been happy for over a year. I can say that Stepping Stones Nursery has the most caring and nurturing environment because my daughter was happy and had settled from the start. She used to cry about going to the other nursery, but here she looks forward to it and is very happy to go in at drop-offs. Thank you to the wonderful staff that work here; they are clearly doing an amazing job. I’ve also only heard the best comments from all the other parents whose children attended Stepping Stones.

Stepping Stones is a beautiful nursery for children. My daughter loves going and thrives when she is there. The staff are friendly, kind and well educated in childcare. The setting itself is beautifully set up with activities for all children and their early year's foundation stage needs. I would recommend this nursery to everyone.

They have fostered and maintained an ongoing dialogue with us and talked to us about ways forward with openness and sensitivity, during what has sometimes been very difficult times.

My youngest child started here in September, following his brother's footsteps. I am absolutely thrilled with the preschool and the staff; they are all exceptional. My youngest absolutely loves Stepping Stones (as did his brother). He goes in every day with a huge smile and always comes out with one too! I couldn't think of a better caring and nurturing place for my children to go. Highly recommend.

My little boys have attended this nursery from 3, I just loved the preschool element on a Monday where they really concentrate on getting them ready for school. Both my boys have loved it, and they get so excited about going. They love the staff and have made great friends there. This nursery is such a fabulous place to set the foundations for both my boys for future years and so glad I found it for them both. I love how you can be really involved as a parent too if you choose to be.

I have no doubt that when my youngest son is ready to start school, he will be very ready, thanks so much.

I looked at a few different nurseries, as soon as my son went in here, he came out and said, I want to come back. He knew, and he was right, he loves Stepping Stones and has learnt so much. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter absolutely loves it at Stepping Stones. She goes in smiling and comes out laughing and giggling! What more can you ask for! The staff are amazing - gentle and kind and full of fun! They take great care and attention to each child’s needs and desires/preferences and really make them feel at ease. And us, parents too!

Great set up and outdoor space - they are always doing something new! It’s a calm environment and everything always seems so under control even though kids are getting stuck in and messy and having fun! The manager and her team are truly talented and passionate about what they do. So happy to have found this setting for our daughter and would recommend so very highly. A great supportive and involved community to be part of as well. Thank you.

Stepping Stones is a wonderful nursery with excellent, caring and fun staff. It has a large open plan hall with a wealth of resources, toys and games and a wonderful garden for the children to explore, learn new skills, use up their energy and have plenty of fresh countryside air.

We are delighted with our choice, and both our young girls have loved attending and spending time with the team.
