Banana Moon Hatton is different to other nurseries in the area. Situated in three converted barns in a rural location and set in 6.5 acres, including fields, a paddock, an orchard, a tennis court and a vegetable plot, there is plenty of outdoor space to run around and have fun.

The team provides a safe and caring environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years, and is open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm for 51 weeks of the year.

Banana Moon is able to accommodate 110 full-time children and able to offer sessions from half a day a week to five days a week.

The nursery is very close to the major road networks – the A46 and M40, and only minutes away from both Warwick Parkway and Hatton train stations for trains to London.

CCTV is installed in all rooms and there is a biometric fingerprint entry system, ensuring the safety of the children. The nursery offers two home-cooked hot meals each day, cooked on site by the talented nursery chef.

Staff are very experienced in Early Years Education and offer a very loving, stimulating home from home, in the most beautiful setting - come and see for yourself and visit Banana Moon Hatton.

We are very pleased that we chose Banana Moon Day Nursery Hatton for our son nearly three years ago and his brother will be joining him soon. The children have access to wonderful resources and activities and have the best outside space of any nursery I have visited. The staff are welcoming, encouraging
and kind and get to know the children so well. A brilliant nursery!

I am very happy with the care and attention my son receives in the nursery, they were integral to his speech development and his overall confidence around other children, since being apart of the nursery he has successfully gone through potty training and continually surprises me with his development,
they have fantastic outside facilities and fantastic meals provided daily. I highly recommend this nursery there overall communication is very good.

My son started Banana Moon Hatton at 8 months old. As a first time mum returning to work was difficult, especially as we were struggling with separation anxiety. All staff involved in his care were very supportive in ensuring he was settling well and were extremely understanding on the difficult days.
He's now 13 months old and loves attending nursery. He enjoys playing with a wide variety of toys and activities that support his development. The extra activities such as Dandy Development and Twirling Toddlers he thoroughly enjoys participating in. He is very much a child that loves exploring the outdoors so the paddock being available in all weathers is amazing for him. He has a good relationship with his key worker and other practitioners around the nursery. The management treats every child and family as individual people. They arrange various different things throughout the year, photos, fayres, charity days, etc. Overall a wonderful nursery with fantastic staff all around.

Thank you very much for looking after my daughter at Banana Moon, who has been there over a year. The nursery management delivers a very personal approach, taking the needs of individual children into account. The nursery provides a lot of extracurricular activities, qualified and caring personnel and
extremely convenient arrangements for working parents ( 2 hot meals and long opening hours) Thank you

My child started Banana Moon Hatton last month and has already shown developments. She runs to the door each day excited about going to nursery.
When I collect her the staff are always very informative with what she has done on that day, what she has eaten, her behaviour etc. The impressive facilities
are always well used. The children go outside into the paddock daily which is great to know they have so much fresh air.
I find the nursery very personable and friendly. The staff have gone above and beyond to make my child feel welcome and help her settle. I feel very confident and happy that I chose the right nursery.

My daughter has attended the nursery for nearly two years and I am about to start my baby there this year. I could not be happier sending my girls here.
The staff are fabulous, great learning opportunities and my daughter has thrived here. The facilities are wonderful and I feel very happy sending
my daughter here. She loves it.
We are lucky she has had the same key worker for some time, who she adores. The food she is served is wonderful and she tends to want more than one portion. Not a problem!

I would definitely recommend Banana Moon Hatton as a nursery to other parents/carers. My daughter has been going since she was 9 months old and she is now 2 years old.
The effort that the staff put in with each child is outstanding, my daughter had quite bad separation anxiety but the staff were so
patient, understanding and encouraging it didn't take long for her to come round. She loves going and has come on leaps and bounds in her development. My son has now also started and he loves it too.
Hours are great for flexibility, I love the paddock that the children all have access to and the frequent events that the nursery hold.
Also no matter how many children they have they are all known and treated as individuals.

I had a huge problem, trying to find a nursery in Warwickshire, open long hours, with home cooked meals, and high security. I liked that you cannot tell from the outside, that there is a nursery their, as this for me elevates the safety.
The selection of activities both inside and outside, are extensive;
in addition there are extra sessions such as 'twirling toddlers', my daughter is already enrolled with the company, so did not take part at nursery, however I can recommend this company; my daughter loves the ballet and tap classes. Furthermore there are photo shoots and personalised Christmas cards and gifts, which for a busy mom; was such a relief and a lovely gift idea.
My daughter loved this nursery, and had such a lovely bond with her key worker, who she would receive a hug from each morning, she clearly felt very comfortable; my daughters speech, manners and organisational skills, improved immensely after just a few weeks of attending the nursery. In addition she loved the meals.
I felt very content leaving my child in their care.

As a family, we cannot praise Banana Moon Hatton enough to everyone! Staff, management, food and activities for the children are outstanding. We will always recommend this wonderful place to friends & family, and my son loves being there. The rooms are all of a great size and warm for your child with
lots of fun activities to do. The staff put the children at the very heart of everything and outdoor play is safe and fun for whatever age your child might be. Ample parking for both parents and staff too.

  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 26 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.901 for Banana Moon Day Nursery Hatton (Warwick) is calculated as follows: ( (286 Excellents x 5) + (21 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 312 Ratings = 4.901
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 5 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Banana Moon Day Nursery Hatton (Warwick) is based on 26 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 4
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 110 number of registered child places is 22, which has been reached with 26 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
