Tops Day Nursery in Corfe Mullen offers happy, nurturing care for the hours parents need.

The nursery offers flexible hours and parents can book to the nearest 15 minutes, meaning parents pay for the hours that suit them. They cater for children from three-months-old up to pre-school age, as well as children aged five to 11 years in the Hi5's Out of School & Holiday Club.

This nursery is part of a group that provides the most eco-sustainable childcare and education in the UK, being respectful of the environment and acting to reduce, re-use and recycle resources is an important part of the culture and routine for the children and staff.

Tops Day Nurseries has introduced a number of extracurricular activities such as Tops Cooking School, Tops Forest School, meditation, yoga, Rugby Rangers, Boogie Mites, tooth brushing and much more.

While each child is at the nursery, families can call as often as they like to talk to a member of staff about your child and their day at nursery.

During a child’s day at nursery, staff will record important information to share with families, such as sleep times/nappy changes and information about milk/food intake. This information is added to a daily report which is submitted onto EYLOG.

Tops Day Nurseries has introduced a no-added sugar menu to all nurseries, ensuring children start their time at nursery with a nutritional, healthy diet.

We recently moved house and we reluctantly chose to move our 18-month-old’s nursery however we are just delighted with Tops Corfe Mullen. They have made this aspect of our move and the upheaval that comes with it all so much easier. The nursery staff are all so friendly, professional and informative.
The journals and observations are thorough and it’s a joy to see so many photos. They sometimes venture out to the park/beach etc and always try to go outside when possible to play which we love. The setting is also really well thought out and full of natural toys. The team in Explorers have really gone above and beyond to welcome our little girl and we are so happy with our decision. Would recommend to anyone considering a move.

My son started in September this year and from the moment we looked around the nursery I knew I wanted to send him there. All the staff are really lovely and you can see that they all really care about what they do. I love that they provide regular updates via the app and I can see how much my son enjoys
it there even though it’s only been two months! I would highly recommend.

My son has been with Tops Day Nurseries since he was 9 months old and he has gone through every room. He is now 7 years old and goes to the Hi 5 after school club. My son has complex needs and every member of staff has shown kindness and understanding towards him. My son loves every member of staff
within this nursery and feels comfortable and safe with them.
They have helped me in many ways regarding reports and strategies to help my son. Every member of staff always go above and beyond for every child and are always there for parents too.

My son started at another nursery but was very unhappy there, after much consideration I decided to remove him and try him at Tops Day Nurseries: Corfe Mullen Nursery.
From the moment I met the manager, who showed me around the setting and was amazing, I knew I was making the right decision.
On my
sons first day, all the staff were really inviting and friendly but also understood when to give my son his own space and let him find his feet.
I ended up sending both my boys here and they both loved it, they both formed good friendships with the staff and other children. Such a lovely setting and amazing staff.

I was quite apprehensive putting my child into nursery.
She has been in nursery since she was 9 months old and I couldn’t be happier with the progress and development she has made since starting there.
The staff are caring and go above and beyond daily to ensure that my child and others have their
needs met. They are genuinely interested in what she can do and are highly professional in the way the communicate with myself and other parents.
My child does cooking, gardening, going on trips to name a few experiences which the setting offers.
I would definitely recommend visiting the nursery and seeing it for yourself!

My son has been attending for two years now and has come on leaps and bounds. The staff have formed a good relationship with him, so he is comfortable enough having cuddles, etc. when I’m not there. They also set boundaries and discipline fairly when necessary.
The fact he loves going to nursery shows

My son has spent three years at Tops Day Nursery - Corfe Mullen. He settled very well and loves going. Since the new manageress took over, the support and care both my son and myself have received has been excellent. He is a challenging child with many issues. There are a few members of staff that although
they give good childcare, could do with understanding a parents point of view when telling you how your child has been and delivering it in an empathic way but mainly really happy.

My son has absolutely thrived since attending this setting. He was quite shy and had not been in a nursery setting before. The staff have made him feel really welcome and have enabled him to make friends quickly.
We had a little wobble after half term but the staff were there to offer reassurance
and support.
I have seen my son's ability to share with others and play in a group setting come on leaps and bounds.


As a child who thrives on being outdoors, the setting has really enabled this, with the fantastic garden space.


I love the fact that the staff are able to confidently tell me what he has done in the day, including how he has eaten. Also, the App the staff use to put updates of the children on is great and gives a real insight into their day.

My son has been at Tops Corfe Mullen for nearly two months, I was very apprehensive about him starting because he was only 7 months old and would be full time at nursery, but he absolutely loves it! The team are lovely and I get updates daily about how he’s been, what they’ve done, eaten and how he’s

My daughter currently attends Tops and she absolutely loves it. When we turn up in the morning, she squeals with excitement and can’t wait to get in there and have fun. The staff are absolutely amazing, so thoughtful, kind and caring. The whole setting is very well thought out and I think it’s great
that they have regular outings, tooth brushing practice, different themes/focus every day, cooking and planting seeds to name a few things which make the nursery so special. I’d thoroughly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for a place that I believe goes the extra mile.

My daughter has been attending Tops now for a few months and since being there, she has achieved so many milestones. Her face lights up when we pull into the car park and she knows that she at the nursery. The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to teach the children and help their
development. I couldn’t have asked for a better nursery, My daughter loves it and does so many wonderful activities while she is there.
Strongly recommend anyone who is a bit nervous to start nursery with their little one, to take them to Tops - Corfe Mullen. All your worries will disappear. Thank you girls.

After visiting a long list of nurseries I went to visit Tops in Corfe Mullen and it is one of the best things I have done. The staff were all so welcoming. As soon as I stepped through the door I knew this was the kind of setting my daughter (who was 8 months) could thrive in and I wasn’t wrong. She
has attended since January 2019 and loves every minute of it. As soon as we pull into the car park and she realises where we are she is a happy baby and it is lovely to see her excited to see her key worker and equally that her key worker is pleased to see her. They are very thorough with their work and clearly all love what they do. Couldn’t recommend them more highly!

My son loves it here. He gets to do a variety of activities and goes on outings to a park, shop or even the dentist. The staff are amazing. They are all friendly and helpful. I love the skills they learn here. My son particularly enjoys cooking and playing in their huge garden. They have a large tech

Our children are at the Coffee Mullen setting and we have been delighted with both of their progress whilst at the setting, both in terms of their confidence and how much they have achieved on the EYFS criteria. I love getting the observations while I'm at work so I can see what they are doing. The
girls are fantastic in the Explorers room and my youngest absolutely loves going in every day, we have never had any tears when taking him and he has been given extra opportunities because he has been identified as gifted, I didn't even know you could be as a baby!


My eldest left in July to start school. Before he started at Tops he was shy and wouldn't interact with children his own age but he really came out of his shell at the setting. He has gone on to make lots of friends at school and thrive, which I put down to the work everyone did with him at Tops. I think it's a wonderful nursery, they try to be sustainable in everything they do. I can't recommend them highly enough.

We have two children at Tops Day Nursery - our eldest started when she was 18 months old and our youngest when he was 7 months old, they are now 5 and 3 respectively and we could not be happier with the level of care that they continue to receive at Tops. All of the settings provide varied and interesting
activities for the children to do and each of the members of staff are kind, thoughtful and engaged with all of the children in their care. Communication with parents is fantastic and easily received through the eyLog parent app -often with 2 or more observations a week and daily diary updates as well. Our children have thrived at Tops and love going there - could not recommend it highly enough - and I do recommend it to anyone who is looking for outstanding childcare in the area.

I have two daughters that attend Tops Corfe Mullen, one in Investigators and one in Preschool. Staff in both rooms work with the girls amazingly, and have taught them so much. The range of activities are excellent and we love receiving updates via the eyLog app. The girls love going and we love seeing
their development. The bond they have with the staff, particularly the youngest, is lovely to see.
