Montessori by Busy Bees provides a Montessori method of teaching alongside the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. The EYFS is a structure of learning, development and care for children from birth to 5 years old set out by the government.

Montessori by Busy Bees provides first class care for your child in a loving environment where each child is treated as an individual. Their professionally qualified team works together to ensure that from babies' early developmental years through to preparation for beginning school, each child is encouraged to realise their full potential.

This is achieved through a carefully developed programme that builds confidence and independence as well as creating opportunities for both educational and social development.

    There is a non-refundable Registration Fee payable to secure your place of £100
    £50 of this fee will be credited to the first invoice issued to you following your child’s start date.
    Fees are based on 52 weeks per year, paid monthly in advance
    A minimum booking of 2 sessions per week is required

    No refunds will be given for sickness or holidays.

    The nursery will be closed on all Bank Holidays (normal charges still apply)

    The nursery will also be closed for one week at Christmas, normal charges still apply as this has already
    been deducted from the yearly fees.
    Parents should note that when children become eligible for 15 or 30 hours funding, this will be available on
    Full Week and Full Day places only.

Great nursery. We moved to Busy Bees when our daughter was 3-years old, and she settled right in. The staff running the 3+ room are exceptional and real professionals in childcare. There is a strong drive for tidying-up after playing - we found this very beneficial as you can replicate the same system
at home! Our daughter has enjoyed her time at Busy Bees and has very fond memories of it.

Both of my children have attended the nursery and although they have now moved onto school they both loved their time there. The staff are all friendly and attentive and take great care in welcoming the children into the nursery and ensuring that they are happy. The nursery itself is clean with great
facilities to keep the children engaged and active. A lovely happy environment to send your children to.

Lovely nursery.
Newly refurbed about 18 months ago and they have lots of great new resources.
Kind and friendly staff. There is a massive indoor space that is used for dance, music and exercise.
I have had 3 kids here over the last 5 years and have had no complaints.

We switched to Busy Bees Putney after lockdown and could not have been happier with how relaxed and welcoming the staff were. After the first inevitable tears, my son was skipping in and looking forward to seeing his favourite workers every day. In a short space of time, his counting had come on a lot
and he had mastered shapes. He is so obviously happy there that it has been such a comfort in such uncertain and strange times.

My son is super happy at the nursery and has been learning a lot. He has been going there since he was 9 months and I have been super happy with the staff; I was worried during the onboarding but the staff was lovely and he quickly adapted. The new manager is very receptive to suggestions and makes
it really easy to communicate by answering promptly to emails.

The nursery is very clean and spacious. Lovely wood furniture. Everything is brand new. Maybe would be nice to see more arts from the children and hang them on the wall to make the room more colourful. The staff are very polite, no problem with that. This is my 3rd child to attend the nursery in over

My granddaughter attended this nursery for 6 months before moving house. We would have loved her to continue, but it was not possible. The staff and ambience are excellent. She absolutely thrived and could not wait to get there each morning. I cannot rate it highly enough. She was encouraged to engage
with children and staff and try foods never tasted before, all prepared onsite. Most excellent.

My son has recently finished his settling sessions in now, he loves being here. Just in 1 month, I could see good improvement in his speech and manners. He loves his teachers here and always found them so affectionate and caring towards my child and all other children.

Mace Montessori Nursery School looks after my son 3 days a week. They provide a safe and secure environment for my son and other children. The carers are friendly, approachable and bond well with the kids. I do recommend this daycare to other parents and wish Mace all the best.

My son is very happy at this nursery, when he goes in in the morning he is very content and he never wants to leave!
The staff are very professional and caring. They have a kitchen and the food is delicious (I have tried it!)
I definitely recommend this nursery to any mum.

Lauren Fitzgerald

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2014

Hello my name is Lauren and I am the Centre Director at Montessori by Busy Bees Putney.  


I have worked in childcare for over 15 years but started my journey here at Putney in October 2014. I started off as a room practitioner and have worked my way up to Centre Director. I have a Level 3 in Early Years Education and a Level 4 qualification in Leadership and Management. 


I am proud to lead an experienced staff team who constantly demonstrate their love for the children under our care and always strive to support each child's development in the best possible way. Together with our families we form a close community which contributes positively to the children's experience. 


I work hard to establish a strong partnership with everyone in my setting, so we can achieve the best outcome for all. Communication with the community is something I feel is key and my door is always open. 


I am looking forward to welcoming you into our beautiful nursery!
