Daisy Day Nursery - Barry

The staff are very friendly, lots of activities for the children will actually be devastated when my son finishes at the end of his time in nursery, great value for money with everything supplied for him, comes home exhausted signs of a good day, love the updates of what he's been up to in a day.

Absolutely love sending my daughter to Daisy! What an outstanding nursery. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and have so much care and compassion in their job, it doesn’t go unnoticed. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they will always make sure they have time for you. Can’t recommend Daisy Day Nursery enough!

The nursery is always very clean, it is light and the rooms are big so it feels very bright and welcoming, the children have a lot of space to play. There are lots of toys, they do lots of activities and the meals are always healthy and sound tasty. The staff are always absolutely lovely and friendly and will have a good chat about your child’s day when you collect them, which is lovely. It's quite expensive, but the facilities are much better than any other nursery we looked at and it was so clean and bright compared to the others.

My daughter started nursery and settled in very well thanks to the staff at Daisy Day Nursery. The staff have been amazing, good communication throughout the day. My daughter seems to really enjoy going and is kept entertained throughout the day. On arrival, the staff are always pleasant and happy to see us.

My son (10 months) started his settling sessions early January, working up to going in 4 days a week. I was so nervous as he’s definitely a mammy's boy and very clingy. He was quite upset to start with, but the team were amazing, adapting to his needs and his likes, even singing his favourite songs to make him feel more comfortable. He finished his first full week last week and he has been like a different child in the evenings. He’s so happy, undertaking far more independent play, constantly smiling. The photo updates and written updates have put my mind at ease at work, he’s smiling, exploring and really enjoying himself. The whole team make a personal effort to get to know the children and parents which I love. I’m 100% happy I chose Daisy Day Care and would highly recommend them.

My daughter started at Daisy Bluebells at the end of October 2023. Her development had a huge jump since. She is drawing, doing art, and socialising with other kids very well. I believe it's all down to the staff. They also assisted my request of weaning her off from breastfeeding which was a huge change for both of us. Now she's on cows milk and water only which I am forever thankful for. They give us feedback every time we pick her up and have a monthly review as well by the key carer. She also has a plan for how to start to help her with talking now. I am really greatful for all the staff. Everyone I ever spoke to is very polite, kind and smiley. Great job you do all!

I have used Daisy Nursery with both of my children from the around the age of 1 until they entered another wrap around service. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I feel so comfortable with the security and safety they offer, even when they are offsite for collections/drop offs. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming and they really care for the children they look after. Both of my children have had lovely relationships with their key workers and I think that is a great reflection of their care. They are always taking part in fun and educational activities and love spending time at nursery. Thank you!

The daycare has been fantastic in supporting my little boy. He started when he was quite young and has had continued support throughout his time there. He’s 10 months now and he’s always coming home smiling after having a fun-filled day. He’s grown into such a well-rounded and socialised boy. Truly a great setting with staff who care about the children!

I definitely recommend Daisy Day Care, my boy went here a few years ago and now my daughter has just started in December. The communication between parent and nursery is excellent. They adapt very well with certain situations and always listen and take on board new routines etc.

Always friendly and kind staff, clean nursery and the staff always keep us updated throughout the day. The facilities are always well maintained and the staff are always willing to talk to us and my daughter loves them.

We love this nursery. All staff are very welcoming and friendly. They greet you at the door and make you feel so welcome and at ease leaving your child in their care. My little boy always goes in excited and leaves so happy. With the use of the app I can keep track of everything. Keep up the amazing work, you’re all incredible.

A very lovely nursery. My daughter attends and son did attend when he was smaller. Daisy has always had lovely staff. Both children have had lovely key workers. It’s gone expensive yet nothing is changing. The food is good, however an evening meal could be more of a meal rather than a snack as my daughter is so tired when she gets home she needs to go straight to bed. The pictures on the pegs have been changed to black and white and I think this makes it look cheap. Used to be so lovely seeing your child’s picture on the peg in colour. I have had to tell staff to put a vest back on my daughter after being changed. When getting wet or dirty. Staff would change only the top and not put the clean vest I provided back on her. I have noticed a massive decline in pictures being brought home compared to my son. My son was always coming home with art/pictures he had painted. I think there could be more room for parents like me who don’t drive to be able to leave a pram. Nursery is clean.

Excellent nursery - they made myself and my child feel very welcomed and have supported with all transitions (most recently, transition to the next age group). I feel that my child’s happiness and development is key and he’s made incredible progress since starting in June. We are kept in the loop at all times and the staff are incredibly understanding and supportive. Have recommended Daisy to multiple mum friends!

My daughter only started in September and at first was a bit scared of leaving me and going to nursery, but the staff made it a really easy experience for both me and her! She now loves going and can’t wait to get out my arms and go see all the staff!

My son attends Butterflies twice a week and he absolutely loves it. Amazing, kind staff who never fail to meet his needs. He's always happy upon pick up and the staff around the building are all lovely too! The building is also very clean!

My little girl started with Daisy Day Nursery in the wise owl room just before Christmas and honestly the staff have been amazing! They’ve made her feel so welcome and we are always receiving photos of her enjoying different tasks! Thank you so much for making her new nursery experience so pleasant.

My daughter has been going here since February 2023 and she absolutely loves it! The staff are so loving and caring towards her and I couldn’t imagine her going anywhere else. It’s lovely to know she’s well taken care of whilst I’m at work.

Both of our children attend Daisy and Camp Coconuts and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The staff go all out to make the place a warm environment and the app is a great source of information on each child throughout the day. Both of our children have made fantastic relationships with the carers and they’re very friendly and personable with us as parents too. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Daisy Day Nursery is a very clean, friendly and caring environment. The team work very hard to maintain a high standard of care towards all the children and go above and beyond to ensure the children are happy and have a great time. Staff are helpful and are always on hand to ensure my daughter has everything she needs.
