Boys & Girls Nursery Stanmore

The nursery and staff are fantastic. I can't thank them enough for taking such good care of my child while he was in the toddler room. My child's key person, as well as the entire toddler team, deserve special recognition.

It is clear from his reactions that he is having a great time in nursery. The staff at Boys & Girls Nursery are extremely friendly and the nursery provides a very safe environment for the children. Staff are committed to teaching the children and ensuring their wellbeing. The nursery provides a fun environment for the children with various resources to enhance their learning, development and play. My son gets so excited to go to nursery and when he sees his carer he just goes and hugs them, this makes me so happy that I made the right decision to choose Boys & Girls Nursery Stanmore.

From the first time I visited Boys & Girls, I knew I would be sending my son there. We visited many others after them, as they were the first nursery we saw, but no one ticked all the boxes like Boys & Girls. All the staff members, even if they didn’t know us, were really friendly and welcoming. I felt so comfortable leaving my son in their hands. He’s been in the baby room for the last two months and I can already see a difference in his development and by the updates and pictures sent, I can see how much he loves it. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind, in leaving our son in such capable hands. We have already recommended to friends, who are definitely using you.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are friendly and love the app, which gives updates throughout the day of my daughter! Food is a good variety and the menus rotate four weekly, which is great!

My son has been at Boys & Girls for nearly two years and we have had an amazing experience there. He has moved through numerous rooms and each team has been warm, loving and supportive. He has thrived in the environment and I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough.

My 2 year old is loving nursery so far! He can’t wait to go inside every morning drop off. The staff are so lovely, welcoming and assuring! My son learns a lot here and his carer made sure to go through what I wanted my little one to develop. Would recommend!

Especially to certain staff; they work so hard with children, very very disciplined, very helpful and they make life very easy to the parents. When we moved to the area, one of my biggest worries was finding a nursery my son would love because he’s a lockdown baby so he’s not been around other people much. The first day we visited the nursery for a tour, he loved the set-up and didn’t want to leave. That was a sure sign for me, plus the nursery came highly recommended by a good friend. Since he started at this nursery, after a few weeks of adjusting to the new routine (the staff were amazing in helping him settle by the way), he’s been loving it and thriving. Sometimes on weekends, he hands me his jacket and bag and wants us to go to the nursery! Thank you to the members of staff at Boys & Girls Nursery Stanmore.

The staff in the nursery are all wonderful. They work extremely hard, and ensure that our son is always having a good time. They make sure he is very well looked after while he is there, and now he is having lots of fun! We are glad we chose this nursery for our son.

My daughter attended the nursery 2 years ago and my son is there in pre-school. Both of them started when they were ten months old and continued all the way to pre-school. The staff and room leaders are very supportive and act on feedback.

The nursery sends out newsletters and regular notices to keep parents informed. The refurbished garden/play area is amazing and I know my son enjoys his time there.

My son has been going to Boys and Girls Nursery since he was 5 months old. He is in preschool now and he loves it. The staff are absolutely brilliant and always helpful. My son is learning a lot. They’ve taught him all the alphabet letters and he can already write his name and his brother’s name. They teach him phonics and counting. They focus on learning through play so their teaching method is very interactive. They recently renovated the garden and they make sure children spend time outside each day. They have a coach that plans sports activities for the kids and they do yoga classes as well. They plan lots of fun activities for the kids. They are even planning a visit from a farm to introduce the kids to different animals and get them to learn more. My younger son also started going to the nursery. When he started, the staff in the baby room were great at getting him gradually used to the new environment and he is now very well settled in pre-toddlers.

Boys and Girls nursery has gone above and beyond to ensure the well being of our child whilst attending the nursery. The staff are polite and the facilities are great. Overall communication between the nursery and parents has been outstanding throughout these challenging times.

My daughter started in the baby room just before her first birthday and has been there for the past two months. I was a little anxious as to how she would settle, as she’d never been away from me or around new people (being a lockdown baby). However, her settling sessions really reassured me. Her key worker took time to understand her usual routine, likes and dislikes. It was lovely to see her playing independently and observing the other children. Due to current restrictions, I haven't been able to go into the nursery since her initial settling sessions, however, through communications with her key worker (during drop-offs and pick-ups and via the daily report card), she seems to be really happy and playful at nursery. Her eating and napping have improved during nursery hours and she always seems really content when I collect her. I believe she enjoys her time at nursery and always comes home acting that little bit more grown-up.

My daughter attended Boys & Girls Stanmore from December 2019, when she was 11 months old. The setting was great for our little one and our family. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They helped her settle in when she was a baby, within 3-4 weeks we felt comfortable that she was happy in the baby room. They provided alternatives to cows milk and kept us informed of developments and changes. She moved into the pre-toddler room after lockdown and absolutely loved it. She was a fussy eater, but the nursery always made sure she wasn’t hungry by providing milk and sandwiches if she refused lunch. Her language skills and confidence have developed amazingly, and she really enjoyed playing with all her carers. The nursery provided daily updates, weekly newsletters, and kept us updated via their Facebook page. We cannot recommend Boys & Girls enough as a safe, friendly and warm setting that will prioritize the learning and development of every child.

We were only able to send our 2-year-old daughter to Boys and Girls for a few months but for the time she was there, the staff went above and beyond to cater to her development. This was her first nursery experience and she'd never been away from family. The toddler team did everything they could to help her settle and she did settle so well. As a Gujarati speaking home, our daughter's key person spoke the same language and it made the transition all that much easier. We saw our daughter develop in leaps and strides in language and general social interaction too. She loves her time there. Any issues or queries I've had the staff have been willing to talk me through it all in an instant and also provided me with more information if I've needed it. The chef has also gone above and beyond for our dietary requirements and our daughter's pickiness too, always offering an alternative that she'd enjoy. Thank you to the whole toddler team for giving my daughter a home away from home.

My daughter started at Boys & Girls Nursery when she was 11 months. She graduated from pre-school a few weeks ago, leaving to go to reception. Her starting at this nursery was the best decision we ever made. She settled in extremely well because of the level of care, support and positive environment at the setting. Carers were are very helpful and always there to help out and talk about her development. A big thank you to all at Boys & Girls Nursery Stanmore for everything they've done for us.

The nursery is great! They are a friendly bunch and my daughter has enjoyed her time at the nursery. She has learnt so much and we have got to know her teachers, whom have all been lovely. They cater to individual needs and nothing is ever to much for them. The rooms are packed with things to do, and the best part for my daughter was Tiny Mites, an external entertainment lady who comes in few times a week.

Boys & Girls Stanmore is a lovely nursery. Both my girls went here and they both really enjoyed going. The setting is lovely and every member of staff is friendly and welcoming. There are great facilities and you can tell a lot of thought goes into all aspects of the nursery from the toys to the displays. The new garden is amazing and the kids are always so excited to get outside. The food is great and both my children who can sometimes be very picky eaters eat very well when they are at nursery. I would highly recommend Boys & Girls to anyone looking for childcare.
