Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Bedford

Excellent child-centered nursery. My daughter loves her days at Monkey Puzzle. She really enjoys all the activities and the outdoor play area. She has made some lovely little friendships with the other children. I Highly recommend the nursery and have found all the staff to be very helpful. They have even encouraged her to join in more during meal times!

It’s been great to see my child flourish in such a supportive, challenging and fun environment. We’ve been impressed by and grateful for the huge commitment and enthusiasm showed by all the staff. I know you’ve had a hugely positive impact on my son's development.

My daughter left for school in August after a year in preschool. There was some staff changes but definitely for the best. My daughter went to school knowing some of her Jolly Phonics sounds, she drove us mad about finding items for show and tell during the week and she also wanted to set the table at home, as the children regularly set up for lunch and tea. Overall, my daughter and wife were very happy with preschool and the staff were inviting and supportive.

When I was due to go back to work for 3 days. I visited many nurseries and was 100% Monkey Puzzle Bedford. The baby room staff were receptive to listening to parental wishes (such as flexibility on sleeping/milk) and was instantly reassured with their loving and warm approach to my son. As he started I was very pleased with the photos I received of his day in addition to the full run-down of sleeping/eating/changing. I enjoy hearing about what he was getting up to/what was funny etc - I still love these chats daily now - the staff go the extra mile to welcome and include parents.

2 years on, staff in toddlers and pre-school have taken extra care for transition for my sensitive boy. I am always impressed with their set-up in big outdoor areas and inviting learning opportunities - my son loves puzzles, construction, role play, books and French! I also love the trips and shows! The staff regularly update his learning journal online with videos and I add my own too. Have recommended lots and will keep on!

I have two children who have attended Monkey Puzzle in the last 3 years. Both thoroughly enjoyed themselves, so much so they don't want to leave when I pick then up. Friendly and courteous staff make it very easy.

We have been using Monkey Puzzle Bedford for our childcare since Sept 2016. We had looked at a number of nurseries and were very impressed with our initial visit and tour of the nursery and have been delighted with the quality of the care our 17 month old daughter has received since.

The physical environment is a lovely flowing space. Although the 3 age ranges are separated for most of the day they can come together for certain times giving the babies an opportunity to see what the bigger kids get up to!

All the staff in the baby room are wonderful, caring and clearly dedicated to their work. They really appreciate and nurture each child's little character rather than providing schedule-based 1 size fits all care.

My son has been going to the pre school for four months and really enjoys it. Monkey Puzzle is great value for money especially considering all three main meals plus snacks are included. What's even better is that the meals are really varied and nutritious. The activities that are put on whether its an outing or bringing someone in are really fun and there's plenty of staff for the children to play with both indoors and outdoors. Overall we're really happy with Monkey Puzzle and would be more than happy to recommend it to friends and family.
