Kids Planet Prestwich

The staff are all excellent and my daughter has formed close bonds with members of staff in each room she has been in. My son will be starting nursery in a couple of months and I have no doubt he will settle in just as well as my daughter has and this is a credit to the staff and management.

My son has been at Kids Planet Prestwich since he was nine months old. He loves being there, has made some amazing friendships and developed massively. The staff are all great, friendly and approachable and always happy to provide support if needed. If anyone asks me about Kids Planet I always recommend it.

I’ve two children in your nursery and both have come on leaps and bounds so when other parents ask for nursery recommendation, I always say Kids Planet.

My son has been with Kids Planet since he was 9 months old and is leaving this summer to start reception. I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they have done over the years and offering a safe and happy environment for my son. The girls there are always happy to help and offer the support where needed. My son has developed amazingly here and has been given the best head start for getting ready for school! We will really miss Kids Planet!

My 2-year-old daughter started two half days early June and I can’t fault the care and learning opportunities she has experienced. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff (one nursery worker has gone the extra mile in making sure our little girl is settled and we are reassured) or management accommodating when it was clear my little one would be better doing mornings as opposed to afternoons. We love the app where you get updates of your child’s day and moments of learning. Our daughter's speech and confidence have really developed over the last few weeks, as she is only two half days we sometimes get a few tears but she is then quickly playing in the amazing garden or many other activities on offer. Thank you!

My child seems extremely happy here on the three days he attends the toddler room. He is growing and learning every day, thanks to the staff who care for him in my absence.

The constant change in management is the downfall of this nursery. We had four managers in the two years that we attended this nursery. This leads to a lack of consistency and staff are worked very hard to maintain a decent standard. The chain is a victim of their own success as the excellent staff are picked to go and start up the newest nurseries in the chain. Leaving inexperienced young staff to run the rooms. Communication can be poor.

Staff and management are so helpful and any concerns they are on it straight away!

This nursery is fantastic! I cannot recommend it enough. I have had two children at Kids Planet Prestwich and have recommended many friends. Both of my girls have had such a lovely experience at nursery, the staff always go above and beyond & nothing is ever too much trouble.

Management is always quick to help and are so smiley! Such a pleasure to walk into the nursery each day!

My daughters have attended this nursery since they were babies all the way through to preschool. My eldest finished preschool last year before starting school and my youngest moves up to preschool soon. I have always been impressed with the standard and quality of care, especially the progress made against EYFS in preschool. My eldest was more than ready to start school, she could write her name, count confidently and made such strong friendships. Both children have loved going to this nursery, with the hardest thing being is getting them out of the place on an evening as they never want to leave. All the staff are very friendly and approachable, they provide regular feedback and photos on progress, via an online app, which is great. I would highly recommend Kids Planet. Prestwich.

This nursery is absolutely fantastic. I was so hesitate returning to work and placing my children into nursery 2 days a week. I went to view it and knew instantly that this was the right place. The management is excellent. The office is at the front of nursery, somebody always in and door always open. The staff are excellently trained, professional, understanding, educated, polite and most importantly demonstrate this to the children in their care. I have witnessed many absolutely excellent examples of fantastic care and sent emails to management to praise staff. The management team and staff are not only excellent with my children but also with me! I am very anxious and worry all the time the reassurance and support I have received as a parent is something I could never thank the staff enough for! This nursery doesn’t need a review you need to go and see it for yourself and you will know instantly you have made the right choice.

My twin daughters have attended Kids Planet part time from age 2, starting in Toddlers. Every single member of staff are accommodating, polite, caring and go out of their way to make my children feel welcome. They have a fantastic team from management to kitchen staff to nursery nurses. The facilities are brilliant offering a wide range of activities to keep my children engaged. They use an online portal to keep parents updated on meals, developmental progress, observations including pictures which I can log onto at any time and see what my children have been up to. My children are currently in Pre School which they love. The team are fantastic and go above and beyond. They have come on leaps and bounds during their time at Kids Planet and are now ready to start their next chapter at school.

My 3 year old son has attended the nursery since aged 7 months. I remember then being really apprehensive about leaving him in the care of others, whilst I was at work, but the staff at the nursery immediately put me at ease. In the way that they speak to my son and the way that he is supported on a daily basis, it is clear to see that they genuinely care about him. He has made so many close bonds with particular staff members and key workers during his time at the nursery. What is telling is that I know he'll be devasted to have to have to leave next year for school. I really would recommend Kids Planet - Prestwich highly. They've assisted my son and us as parents with many milestones and continue to support us with our son's individual development goals. I am so confident in the care that they provide that our second child is due to start with them in September and I know I can feel at ease during the difficult transition of returning to work because he will be receiving great care.

If I had one niggle and it is a teeeeeny tiny one - it would be about the number of management changes. All managers have been excellent. There is no question about the quality and the reasons for the changes have been logical. But as soon as you get used to someone it seems they're off.

Our daughter has just turned 1 and has attended for the past 4 months. We were unsure as to where to send her, thought Kids Planet would be too 'big' for her in terms of numbers of children and her young age, however, we were wrong. The manager knows the name of every child and the whole place has a great feel. Our daughter loves the staff members and they have a great understanding of her developing personality and what she likes to do, and really help her thrive. At present, we do not get a great deal of insight as to what goes on during her day other than a briefly written sheet, however they are bringing in an online access interface and my understanding is we can view pictures and get updates throughout the day by logging into our account.

Choosing childcare when you return to work is tough, but I would definitely recommend considering this place. I can see why it received an Outstanding from Ofsted and for our highly sociable 1-year-old, it was absolutely what she needed.

Our daughter has been at Kids Planet since she was ten months old. She is now approaching pre-school. At every stage, we have found the staff to be caring, proactive and committed to providing our child with the best possible environment. They always treat her as an individual, move at her pace and have been happy to adapt to her needs - for example, separating different food groups on her plate when she was going through a fussy eating phase and then helping her to move back to mixed foods again. They genuinely like the children in their care. It is one of the more expensive nurseries in our area but we often think about how glad we are that we chose this nursery.

Our journey with Kids Planet Day Nurseries - Prestwich started in 2013 with my daughter and ends next week with my son. Both my kids have loved their time at Kids Planet and I couldn't recommend it more. The staff have been amazing regarding my son's asthma and allergies and I am confident he will be cared for should he need his medication in nursery. My shy reserved baby is leaving as a confident chatty boy thanks to his amazing teachers!
