Excellent standard of care provided by Babies 1 and Toddlers 2. My son doesn’t want to come home at the end of the day!
Have been using this nursery for the last 3 years for my two kids. Have seen an improvement in the staff's attitude, despite numerous changes in management and resignations. My children are always happy to go. Compared to other Bright Horizons nurseries, I don't see many interesting activities for the children. Not sure they are learning much. Other Bright Horizons nurseries show many activities on social media. I think there should be a policy asking parents not to give other children sweets as presents as they are unhealthy and a choking hazard.
We are pleased that your children are happy to go to their nursery. With regards to the sweets, I have spoken to the Nursery Manager who will ensure that when other parents bring in sweets to give other children for birthdays or leaving for...
I know it must be difficult but I'd like to hear more about how the staff are helping the children as individuals eg helping read where the child is interested.
Thank you.
It was a hard decision for me to get to back to work leaving my 1-year-old at the nursery. But, I have to say, Bright Horizons Wokingham has been an absolute dream. My daughter settled in completely within around a week of joining. She starts early, at 7.30 in the morning, and it’s a massive relief for me to see her go to the staff without any tears or tantrum. She’s always smiling and happy when I go in to pick her up. The nursery is bright, airy and clean and the staff very friendly, warm and helpful. I have previously tried a few other nurseries for my older son, and I can clearly see the difference in the way this nursery is run. It’s quite organised and systematic but not mechanical as some nursery chains are. There is a positive vibe about this place that makes you feel your child is in safe hands. I just can’t recommend this nursery enough.
We can always get appropriate feedback on each day and on overall development of our son.
Very high standard of all activities and everyday child routine.
Our son is bilingual and we are grateful to the team for his level of English.
We would like to separately mention that the food for children is very high standard and very tasty (usually our son is very picky with food and most of the times he loves all the food).
All personnel are very well trained on specifics of each age.
My eldest son (who is now in Year 1 at school) attended for 4 fours and he thrived here. Now my 18 month old son attends and has been since he was 11 months old. He’s so happy and I would not dream of sending him anywhere else.
The staff are very attentive, friendly and caring, I know he is in safe hands at every drop-off. It’s such a good feeling knowing that he looks forward to going to nursery and that he will be well looked after here.
The communication, daily updates and the child’s reports are very informative and keeps me up to date on his progress and what he has been up to.
He gets to play inside and outside, explores different environments and activities like water play, sand play, playing in the garden, drawing, books, toys, music/songs/dancing and this last week he participated in Jo Jingles (which my older son loved to do!). I am so pleased we chose this nursery!
We've loved being part of this nursery for the past four years. It's been a brilliant environment for our eldest (now a preschool graduate) and our youngest is thoroughly enjoying his experience there too. The preschool room has been fantastic in helping prepare for the transition into big school, and couldn't recommend it enough. The staff are great, I know that my kids are in safe hands.
The staff are so friendly and caring, I know he is in safe hands at every drop off.
The communication is excellent, not only with my son's day to day activities but with anything else going on as well.
I am so pleased we chose Bright Horizons Wokingham.
We currently use the nursery for my daughter who is two years old. She has attended for the last year and we wouldn't dream of having her anywhere else. The environment is a loving and caring one where the staff show genuine interest in our daughter's development. It is a good nursery with fantastic staff which has seen our daughter develop into a fun loving and confident girl. Thank you.
I also love the feeling of self-worth they have helped give my children. My daughter's first report from school was that she was ahead of the game - a report that the nurseries support and teaching has helped her achieve.
My daughter attends the nursery one day a week and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. She loves her nursery friends and all of the staff there. The staff are always lovely and quite clearly have the children's best interests at heart. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic, interactive, caring nursery. Amazing staff- wonderful facilities and structured educational programme. Food home cooked and well presented.
The children do lots of activities and have a varied menu.
My son only goes 2 days a week, but all staff have gone out of their way to help settle him in and adapt to his needs, as he needs a little more help with certain things due to being severely premature and being behind other toddlers his age. They are friendly and welcoming and after being very anxious about leaving him, I feel he is safe and well cared for on the days that he is there.
They are very informative about what my daughter has been doing throughout the day and is very happy when I collect.

Meet the Team (2)
My name is Lauren and I have been working within the childcare and education sector for 15 years. I have spent time working in many establishments from schools, Private Day Cares, Forest school settings, settings for children with additional needs and nurseries.
I have a foundation degree in early-year childcare and Leadership in practice. I started as a Nursery Nurse and have worked my way up to the Manager position, I am in now. I really enjoy working within the nursery and ensuring the children receive excellent care and attention at the nursery as well as making learning lots of fun.
I very much look forward to meeting you and introducing you to the wonderful team here at Bright Horizons Wokingham Day Nursery and Preschool.
Jodie, the Deputy Manager at Wokingham, began her career with Bright Horizons in 2012 at the Godalming Nursery as a Nursery Assistant. She studied for her qualification and steadily worked her way up to room leader, then third in charge, and eventually to her current role as Deputy Manager.
Jodie loves working in childcare, and since becoming a parent, she has found she can relate to and work with parents on another level.
