Yellow Star Day Nursery

Lizzie was such a big part of my daughters journey and development and we will forever be grateful to the staff at the nursery for all their love, support and kindness!

We are really happy with Yellow Star Nursery and the care our daughter receives. She loves going in and has come on so much since starting in February.

A special mention to her key worker Lizzie, who is brilliant with her. It's great knowing she is happy, settled and being so well looked after.

Would definitely recommend Yellow Star to other parents.

We cannot overstate how happy we are with every member of the team that has taken care of our kids. Maddie's communication, flexibility and leadership has created a fantastic place.

Yellow Star have been fantastic with our little one. He's been very happy going into nursery every day since day one and they have loads of activities he loves. The team are great and really flexible and understanding with parents, always keeping us informed. Maddie is so easy to deal with and Amy was our key worker in the Baby room and was amazing for us. One of the best choices we've made was to choose Yellow Star.

The care, dedication, and consistency shown by the staff over the years has been exceptional. The kindest, caring nursery! Very professional, experienced staff, welcoming and patient with all the children. The children are all very happy and parents seem full of praise. It's like a home from home!

My son has been at Yellowstar for nearly 3 months. He is my first born and it was quite daunting on the thought of leaving him with strangers. But Maddie and her team helped ease my fears. The communication and friendliness of the staff is excellent which helped to put any worries at rest. I feel confident in leaving my son at Yellowstar knowing he is getting the best care.

the moment he started there we have had no question about it being the right decision. My son feels safe and cared for by all the staff and regularly comes home with funny stories, showing just how much the staff interact with play but he's also prepared for school learning phonics and writing in a interesting playful way. He recently described his keyworker Lizzie as being kind and that she makes him feel happy - that's all I could ask for.

Two of our children have attended Yellow Star with our third starting soon. An amazing, caring nursery where the staff go above and beyond. Lizzi has been both of our children's key worker and she is amazing!

If you want a nursery that feels more like a family than a business then Yellow Star is for you. The staff take the time to really get to know each child, to understand them and celebrate who they are. They help them to grow in confidence and let their personalities shine.

My son left Yellow Star to start Reception in September. He is one of the youngest in his class, but thanks to the brilliant foundation Yellow Star gave him, he was more than ready. He settled into school smoothly, full of confidence, kindness, and excitement to learn and make new friends.

He still talks about Yellow Star and all the wonderful people there with so much love, and honestly, so do we. We miss it deeply, and we will always be grateful for the role they played in such an important chapter of his life.

We picked Yellow Star for our two boys and feel like it was one of the best decisions we made for them. They attended from the age of 1 until they went to school. The staff at Yellow Star gave them such wonderful nurturing care, and we really felt like part of a big family. I was completely confident that their wellbeing was prioritised, and they felt secure and safe. They came home with such fun stories about their day and the boys are so pleased to see the staff when they bump into them in the village. The Yellow Star preschool prepared the boys well for starting Reception, and made learning fun. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Yellow Star to any other parent.

Maddie and all the staff are amazing, and they've created a lovely, nurturing, fun nursery, which also helps children develop and be ready for school.

All three of our children were lucky enough to attend Yellow Star and we have absolutely loved being part of the Yellow Star family. The staff are all incredible and always go the extra mile to nurture each individual child's development. We were so sad when our youngest left nursery but so very grateful to see him thrive at school as his sisters did because of the excellent start from Maddie and the team

Yellow star are a fantastic nursery! Both my children have attended from 9months to school age and have thrived.

The teachers take care to evaluate each child for individual needs and adapt accordingly, they really prepared my boys for each developmental step and the jump to primary school.

Maddie has been so flexible and supportive with me needing to add extra or amend days and always incredibly responsive.
