My little girl has been with Puddleducks for almost 10 months and I couldn't recommend the nursery and staff lightly enough! My daughter loves the nursery and has formed great bonds with the staff in her current room and the other children. My husband and I are both working parents and we are very content
leaving our daughter here five days a week and know she is in very reliable hands! I also am so pleased with the different activities the staff plan for the children on a daily basis. Such a great place for children to learn and develop!

My son has been here for almost 3 years and he absolutely loves it. The staff are so caring and genuinely adore the children. Seeing my child so happy here makes it so much easier to leave him for the day. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

My daughter aged 3 only attended for a short period of time due to us relocating. I must say to begin with I was quite apprehensive as any parent would be sending their child to a new nursery, however, I can honestly say sending her to Puddleducks was the best decision we ever made. In the short space
of time she attended, her development rocketed and her confidence shot up. My daughter went from screaming every time I left her in her previous nursery to literally pushing me out of the door in Puddleducks. The staff are all genuinely friendly and really care for children.

My daughter attended Puddleducks Nursery last year and thrived in the environment.

The staff are confident and caring and clearly, enjoy being with the children. Management of the nursery is excellent with the manager being a very 'hands-on' and professional manager.

My little girl still talks

about her experiences there. A great experience!

Puddleducks has been a fantastic environment for my child to grow and learn. The staff are just wonderful, they keep me up to date on any issue or concerns they have regarding my daughter along with any advice they can give. The nursery rooms have a great selection of toys and a wonderful outdoor play
area for plenty of exercise. The food cooked by the nursery chef is fresh and healthy and my daughter just can get enough!

My eldest daughter has been to two different private day nurseries in Belfast, and while both are great, Puddleducks is exceptional. Under the leadership of the manager, so passionate about her work, the care and energy of the whole staff is second to none.

Here are my highlights...
Wonderful,

caring staff.
Responsive to children, rather than enforcing an inflexible schedule etc.
Great outdoor space, used every day, in all weathers.
Bright, spacious & welcoming rooms.
Toys that facilitate imagination & creativity, they than flashy plastic prescriptive toys.
Child-led learning.
Good food.
Gender representation amongst staff, ie not 100% female.

I currently have two children in Puddleducks and I am extremely happy with this nursery. The staff go above and beyond in all aspects of the children's care and I have never once worried about my children while I am away. All the staff are friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable about Early
Years childcare. The resources available in the nursery are fantastic and I feel they have a huge amount of space for the children - in comparison to other nurseries I have seen. I would highly recommend Puddleducks to anyone who is looking for childcare in Belfast.

I had my daughter in this daycare for 6 months and overall I was thoroughly happy with every aspect of the daycare. I would have loved to keep her here but due to where we live it was handier to have her closer to home.

Cannot recommend Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast enough. The staff are lovely, friendly, helpful and make me feel at ease leaving my wee one there every day without any worries. It has many other good points but the most important is your child's welfare and I never have any worries about mine.

My son has come on in leaps and bounds since starting at Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast. He loves the staff and they care for him as if he was their own which is phenomenal. I don't have a single complaint and will be devastated when he has to leave. I have nothing but good things to say and I couldn't
say enough of them.

Current Review Score: 9.9 (9.876)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.9 (9.876) out of 10 for Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 18 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 5.0 out of 5 from 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.926 for Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast is calculated as follows: ( (200 Excellents x 5) + (16 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 216 Ratings = 4.926
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.95 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Puddleducks Day Nursery Belfast is based on 18 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.95
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 70 number of registered child places is 14, which has been reached with 18 Positive reviews. Points = 1
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
