Providing an extensive range of high-quality toys and resources both indoors and outdoors, the nursery is divided into two floors and has three separate secure outdoor play spaces including a rooftop secret garden for children aged under two. They offer so much more than toys and resources through their dedicated and qualified team, who offer many specialised opportunities to the children. Forest School practitioners, who cook on open fires, tell stories in the woods and offer real tools and opportunities. Yoga, story massage and phonics are incorporated into their everyday practices by trained staff, their very own resident Artist and three Early Years Teachers.
They are passionate about healthy eating and good nutrition for children. Mealtimes are social family occasions, with time for children to enjoy food, chat with friends and share events of the day. Providing a vegetarian diet which includes, locally sourced ingredients, fresh fruit and vegetables prepared on site.
The nursery is situated in its own grounds and has secure car parking facilities along with CCTV and electronic entry systems; the highest regard is given to the safeguarding of children.

There are some staff that of course come and go, sometimes this is because of managements high expectations to deliver only outstanding quality care, others for promotion as we are only a small company these are positions that do not become available. We work exceptionally hard to ensure smooth transitions when staff leave to ensure consistency at all times for the children. Whilst I felt the baby room provided very good care, unfortunately, we were not impressed with the care in the 2+ room. We felt that the space was too small for the amount of children there and there were not enough staff. The space was chaotic and it was not possible to adequately keep a close eye on all the children. On several occasions, the staff failed to notice when my son soiled himself and I collected him wet. He was potty trained at home. He once cut his head and none of the staff could tell us how he did it.

During your time at Best Childcare, we never received any communications from yourselves regarding any of these issues, so these come at a shock to us. Your child hasn’t been with us at our setting for over 5 months so we find it strange that you would contact us via this platform with issues that have never been raised with ourselves. Your child was also in the 2+ for nearly a year and your other child was also signed up to start with, but yet we had no concerns raised by yourself. Due to COVID-19, your child did not attend nursery and you left the nursery as didn't want to pay the 25% retainer fee. I would like to wish you well for the future and we will treasure the wonderful memories we had with your child.

I cannot recommend Best Childcare Nursery highly enough. My daughter has been going there for almost 2 years. The management is outstanding and set the standards incredibly high. They are so professional and caring and passionate about the children and their learning.
