The nursery boasts a committed, friendly and well-qualified nursery team that provides high-quality care and learning opportunities for children aged between two- and five-years-old. They also offer some availability for older children up to eight-years-old in the school holidays.
The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a strong focus on learning through play. Every child has a key person who best understands how to meet each child's individual needs and interests and parents are actively encouraged to become involved in the life of the nursery.
The team establishes a culture of 'in the moment' planning which is a modern approach to planning children's development. This helps to ensure that every child feels involved, stimulated and happy whilst at the nursery.
The nursery is currently open from 9.00 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday, 38 weeks of the year, excluding bank holidays and three staff training days, usually one per term.
The nursery offers funded 15 hours childcare for qualifying two-year-old and all three- and four-year-old children. They also offer 30 hours funded childcare for three-year-old children with working parents who meet the criteria.
The nursery offers both indoor and outdoor play and gives children experiences of learning through play
Acorn grove has a on sight parking which is free for parents or visitors to use. It is a private car park.

Families accessing government-funded childcare hours are not charged for extras such as consumables, learning resources, or activities. However, a contribution is asked towards snacks and meals, which is entirely voluntary for families accessing funded hours.

Refundable Deposit
The nursery does not charge a registration fee. However, families who are paying fees are required to pay a deposit to secure their child's place. This deposit is fully refundable and will be deducted from your final invoice, provided the required notice period has been given and all terms of the agreement have been met. Full details of the deposit and notice requirements will be provided during the enrolment process to ensure complete transparency and peace of mind for families.

The staff are so caring towards my daughter, they spend time with her and are patient with her. She enjoys going to nursery and I know that she is in safe hands. There are a variety of activities for her to take part in, from painting to reading books. They even plan fun activities like 'Eid party' and 'beach day', where a makeshift beach was set up. My daughter got to splash around in the paddle pool and play in the sand, which she loved.

I have had a pleasant experience with Acorn Grove Nursery. My toddler did take some time to settle here but they have been so patient with him and have made the effort to make sure he is happy and is enjoying himself there. My toddler loves it there now and wants to go more regularly. The staff are so friendly and delightful, always smiling and welcoming and they are willing to help with anything and are approachable. I would highly recommend this nursery to parents in the area.
