Once Upon A Time Day Nursery

Couldn’t ask for a better nursery! Moved my little one from another nursery due to not feeling 100% happy, and all the staff at once upon a time went above and beyond to make the transition as smooth as possible. His keyworkers treat him like they’re his own and seeing how excited he gets to see them eases my anxiety completely. We get sent updates and photos through an app at the end of the day to tell us what he’s been up to, and he always looks so happy and entertained. The nursery setting is amazing and has a wide range of difference educational resources and fun! He eats like a champ there and we are more than happy with the meals he gets offered. Communication between the nursery and myself is also a majorly important factor for me but nothing is ever too much and everyone always eases any worries I have regarding development etc: couldn’t recommend this nursery enough, the girls are all stars!

My daughter has been coming to Once Upon a Time for nearly 2 years and she loves it here. The staff are amazing and since my daughter started part-time nursery in September, they have been amazing at accommodating her with sessions when needed and that’s been a massive help to me as a working mum. My daughter always goes in with a smile and always leaves with a smile. She’s always happy and tells me all the fun things she does. I think my daughter will be so sad when she no longer needs to attend as it’s been the best and I would highly recommend to anyone who's thinking of putting their child into care to go back to work. Keep up the good work girls, you're all amazing and you deserve to win!

An outstanding nursery that provides excellent learning opportunities to the children in their care. There is a good variety of healthy foods provided. The staff have supported my daughter to become confident with her speech and language, as well as her toileting. The care provided is outstanding, and my daughter loves attending.

I’m honestly in love with this nursery. I feel like my son is absolutely thriving there; he now says bye and walks straight in with no issues, which is reassuring. The staff are always extremely friendly and happy to help with any questions and queries. They offer opportunities for toddlers to go out and see their community, and have recently had a family fun day involving a police car and fire engine, which my boy absolutely loved! They also offer a wide variety of foods, which my son constantly eats, even though he won’t at home, but is great in the nursery. Honestly can’t fault them.

Communication within the nursery is amazing. Always letting us know the ins and outs of everything. My child is well looked after and is always happy going in and coming out. Very Professional and happy staff.

There is excellent communication. I am reassured my little one is happy and safe there. We, as a family, would highly recommend it.

Both of my children have attended Once Upon A Time and honestly, I would never think about taking my children anywhere else. The staff are absolutely amazing, each one is caring and will do everything in their power to help you in any way they can. Both of my sons started there at 1 year old and they loved it! My 5-year-old still talks about his time there and my 1-year-old always has a smile on his face when we are at the door. They do amazing things to assist children's development, and my son's speech has come on amazingly since being there. The home-cooked meals are wonderful, they smell amazing and are packed with all the things children need for a healthy balanced diet. I cannot recommend this nursery enough! They have been such a big part of my children's lives and I will always be thankful to them for all they do.

Outstanding nursery and you won't get better.

Once Upon A Time has been a fantastic nursery for my son, who has been going there for over a year. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and my little boy loves it. His development has come on so much. My daughter also went there for many years, and it was superb for her the whole time too. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Could not recommend a better nursery. My little girl has been her since before she was one years old. Her development with speech, numbers, speaking welsh wouldn't have been the same without the team. She absolutely loves going here still and gets excited every time she knows she is going.

All the staff at Once Upon A Time Day Nursery are absolutely brilliant, my daughter absolutely loves going here and there's no better feeling than knowing she's always happy and safe. The staff are brilliant with communicating to me about my daughter and there are no words to describe how good they are.

My son had a lot of fun with the nursery when they had their Halloween party. He also has made a lot of new friends since being there and is always happy to see the members of staff when they open the door to let him in.

The nursery is amazing, the staff is really lovely and helpful. The activities they do with the children are really fun, my kid really enjoys the lessons. The staff is really helpful when needed. I am really happy.

Security wise - I'm confident that my little boy is safe there and was very impressed with security on his induction session.

The staff are amazing they have so much time for the children. They been an amazing support to my little boy speech in which he come on so much. He also loves attending the nursery and it has help with his social skills.

Great nursery with staff that really care about all the children. We have been using here since our daughter was a baby and have been through all the sections, she has had great care all the way through. The kids come out happy and relaxed, the food is great and there are so many activities that they do and crafts she brings home.

Our daughter also attends the nursery. When she first started she knew very few people so we were concerned how well she’d settled. But she settled amazingly and loves going. We love the range of activities they do, the variety of food they have. But what we love seeing the most at the end of every day is their updates on how our children have been and the photos. We leave our children there with complete ease and this nursery is the only one I can recommend. Grateful for everything they do.

She is also in such a good mood when she comes home which is great!
