We are happy sending our daughter to the Monkey Puzzle Nursery in Warwick. Our daughter is fast approaching three years old and shows the utmost enthusiasm when attending the nursery. This is as a result of the great, friendly and informative staff who go the extra mile to provide the learning environment
and growth we have personally witnessed with our daughter. We feel that the current environment allows our daughter to learn and develop more so than just being at a daycare setup. If the nursery continues to operate as per the previous 18 months, we will be very happy indeed and look forward to sending our second child in distance future.

Lovely nursery, staff are so warm and friendly and make you feel at ease knowing your child is well cared for. Inside is bright and clean with lots of things to do and see, my son is two and they always do lovely activities which we wouldn’t get to do at home like floor painting and great sensory activities.
The food always looks lovely with a good variety. Overall I’m really happy I chose Monkey Puzzle for my son.

My son only attends a day a week (previously did two days), and I also sent my daughter here before she moved to a different preschool where we could make better use of the free hours.
We would absolutely recommend the nursery, my son loves his time there and comes out beaming with stories of all the
fun he’s had. I don’t think I could ask for much more (apart from inclusive classes run internally by the nursery staff rather than needing to pay on top of nursery fees). This is always an issue of mine as I feel a bit backed into a corner, but that being said I’m pretty sure Wednesday dance class is his favourite time of the day!
The staff are all lovely, we get great feedback and my children have always been happy here. It’s a large nursery, so handy having separate cot room for babies, sensory room plus a soft play room too, nice and open and loads of space. Always seem to be making improvements too which is nice to see.
Thanks Monkey Puzzle.

Current Review Score: 9.7 (9.739)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 9.7 (9.739) out of 10 for Kids Planet Warwick is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.9 out of 5 from 19 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.9 out of 5 from 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.868 for Kids Planet Warwick is calculated as follows: ( (200 Excellents x 5) + (24 Goods x 4) + (3 Satisfactorys x 3) ) ÷ 227 Ratings = 4.868
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.871 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Kids Planet Warwick is based on 19 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 20 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews, 0.05 Points for the next five Positive Reviews, and finally 0.025 Points for the next ten Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.050, 7th = 0.050, 8th = 0.050, 9th = 0.050, 10th = 0.050, 11th = 0.025, 12th = 0.025, 13th = 0.025, 14th = 0.025, 15th = 0.025, 16th = 0.025, 17th = 0.025, 18th = 0.025, 19th = 0.025, 20th = 0.025) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 + 0.025 = 3.975
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 106 number of registered child places is 21.2. 19 Positive Reviews ÷ 21.2 = 0.896
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Hello, my name is Vanessa and I am proud to be the Manager at Castle House. I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and SEND, and I’ve been working in the early years sector since 2018.

I began my journey as an Early Years Assistant and have since gained experience across a large group of nurseries. Most recently, I managed a Pre-School provision at a local school. My passion lies in creating inclusive environments where every child and family feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.

As a mum myself, I understand how important it is to find a setting where your child feels safe, happy, and inspired. Outside of work, I enjoy exploring National Trust locations with my family and spending time crafting.

I am dedicated to supporting each child’s development and ensuring they reach their individual milestones in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
