Ashley Cross Montessori Day Nursery

My daughter loves her time at the nursery. It is a lovely, calm and welcoming environment for her to be in. This is a very special place and I have seen my daughter flourish.

Since my child has been attending this nursery, the school and its staff have gone above and beyond for our family.

They have taken a genuine interest in our son and have helped point us in the right direction to help further his development.

We are so pleased to have our son and hopefully his brother someday soon, attend this school because we firmly believe in the Montessori way and the lovely staff at the school embody that.

To see our son be so happy to attend this school and be so welcomed each and every morning, we could not feel more confident and happy that he is in a fantastic learning environment!

We love the open space for children to play in. They spend a lot of time outdoors whatever the weather and there is space for relaxing. Children learn through play and learn to tidy away before starting something else. They help with everyday tasks such as washing, cooking, setting the table. I feel my child is safe and well looked after whilst we are at work.

Great Montessori nursery with lovely staff who go above and beyond to nurture and accommodate my little boy. Great facilities for natural open-ended play as well as structured activities. Staff keep us updated via our son's tapestry account as well as in personal meetings. Very happy we sent our little boy here.

Excellent school where our daughter has enjoyed attending since joining in May this year. They made our family feel welcome and our daughter always looks forward to attending. The Montessori equipment is good quality and well managed.

I absolutely love Ashley Cross Montessori! My youngest daughter currently attends and my eldest (who is now 8) attended from age 2 to nearly 5. I have always been impressed with the staff and pleased that there is not a big turnover, in fact, most of the staff there now were there 6 years ago. The facilities are excellent and safety of the children a priority. Both my children have loved attending, with my eldest always asking to visit in the school holidays. The atmosphere is very welcoming, calm and homely for the children. The use of everyday items is a brilliant learning tool for the children. Both my children have flourished in their care, I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone!

For the parents there is always a listening ear who wouldn't just listen but help with advice any time you ask. The teachers are very patient with potty training they work together with the parents. My children and I are love this nursery. The only downside it is pricey, especially when you are not eligible for the 2-year-old funding and you have to pay a service charge on top of the hourly rate. Other nurseries offer sibling discount but it is not an option here.

My son has a great time at Montessori Ashley Cross, his curiosity and his inclinations are supported and foster in this friendly and joyful environment. The staff are very careful and I really appreciate the Montessori ethos of the nursery, with its tidiness that supports creativity. My daughter is turning two in a few months, and I cannot wait for her to join the cheerful crew!

It's the best decision we've made moving our 2 year old son to the Ashley Cross Montessori. He settled immediately and asks to go there every morning! In a short time we are already noticing how much it is accelerating his overall development. We have one very happy boy!

Most importantly, she adapted very quickly to her new environment which is open and spacious. In fact, I rarely receive a wave goodbye now as she just runs in!

This is my second child to attend Montessori. They both love it. The staff are very caring and approachable and have always made me feel welcome. The manager has and still is a great listener. I was very happy to have her morning conversations back in my life again after a two year gap!! The facilities are lovely, light and spacious and above all there always seem to be a calmness about the place.

As soon as we walked in to Ashley Cross Montessori, I knew I wanted my daughter to spend her most important years of her life there. So welcoming, calm and nurturing, the staff, the other children and the space combine to give an experience that I have not seen anywhere else. My daughter learned to much about how to integrate into a community, how to set boundaries, how to make confident and correct choices and she learnt about the world we live in using the unsurpassed Montessori principles. Attending Ashley Cross Montessori has given my daughter the best start in life. Thank you!

Our son has attended this nursery for two years now and he has been very happy there. It was the perfect place to support the ideals, values and independence we have been teaching him at home. The staff are very friendly and have guided our son in a lovely way to be himself and to be independent. They have been fantastic in helping him to acquire new skills in a fun and non-pressured way. Altogether a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere where the needs of the child come first. Great place.

I am so happy with my sons progress since beginning at A.C.M. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive to both my son and myself. They always make the time for a chat if we need one. My son is always happy and relaxed after each session and he gets excited when we tell him it's nursery day. I think that speaks volumes!

Ashley Cross Montessori have been amazing an all aspects of my sons nursery experience. They have helped in every transition from toilet training to dealing with tantrums. They offer help and support wherever needed to both parent and child. My son has been at Ashley Cross Montessori from 2 years old and he and myself are very sad to be leaving for school now at the age of 5. I really could not recommend them more to others. The things my son has learnt throughout the years always impresses my friends with children that attend other nurseries, these skills have more than prepared him for his next journey to primary school. Just fantastic staff and an outstanding nursery!
