Ashley Cross Montessori Day Nursery

We are so pleased that our daughter attended ACM, both the Bambini Room and Children's House. We can really see the results of the staff's wonderful approach, helping to instil kindness and confidence in her. ACM created such a kind, caring and nurturing environment. She is very sad to leave, but we can see that she is equipped with all the skills she needs to start school. We are really grateful for her time at ACM and would highly recommend it.

My son has thrived and flourished at this nursery. His social skills, his fine motor skills, his ability to play with other children, his engagement with life around him - it all added up to support him in making his next step. Staff at the nursery are attentive, professional, hard working and genuinely care about the children - I certainly felt very confident leaving my son and they understood and supported completely his initial anxiety when he was left. Communication is excellent and using the app, I had a clear understanding of how his day was going. I am gutted he had to take his next step and leave the nursery - I would 100% recommend this establishment and professionally I have been a senior leader in education for twenty years! As I said to the team when my son left - keep doing what you do - you are changing lives!

Picked my grandaughter up after day at nursery. Felt welcomed by staff & no problem with picking her up as my daughter had told them I would be coming. My grandaughter absolutely loves it here & was full of what she'd been doing & her friends. Well done to all the staff for doing such a good job.

We have had such a positive experience of Ashley Cross Montessori. When my first child was ready to go, I wasn't sure I was but the team at nursery were amazing at helping her settle in, and giving me plenty of reassuring updates. My second started this year and it's been another amazing start. In all of their interactions with our family, I feel like they work with us as parents, and love our girls. We are really proud of the development and skills the girls are picking up and the friendships they are beginning to make. We love this nursery and highly recommend it.

He has grown so much in confidence, loves the baby ballet classes and genuinely seems to be blooming there.

From his very first day, he came out excited that he had friends now and knew their names, he wanted to go back. The 1-2-1 activities with staff and their instinct to go above and beyond, such as all staff attending a deaf awareness course in their own time, speaks volumes. His disability has been recognised and he is loved and cared for. We wish we had chosen this nursery sooner but glad they are the much needed stepping stone before school.

Upon reviewing other nurseries, including Ashley Cross Montessori this was the nursery that I wanted my children to go to the importance of learning through play, the independence that your children are given and the care and love that the staff put in as well. Your children are safe and that is one of the biggest worries when you send your children to nursery. I 100% would recommend this nursery above others. All the children know each other there is smaller groups than other nurseries so it's not as wild and focus on getting your children to the next step was there. My children were ready for school after being here and I will be eternally grateful to the staff here. Thank you

It's hard to put my love for this place and the 'ladies' (as we call them!) into words! ACM has exceeded my expectations which were already high. I can't fault the care, true attentiveness, emotional attunement, intelligence, or nurture of everybody at ACM, but more than that, the natural human-ness of them all. It's a place at which I can leave my son knowing with full confidence he's safe, developing without pressure or expectation, free to express himself, has his boundaries respected and where his natural curiosity can flourish. The children are, unsurprisingly, very capable and independent. The nursery feels like family to us, and I'm already dreading the day we have to say goodbye! Other nurseries I've heard about or visited do not come remotely close in terms of offering an environment that truly respects the child, which is informed by child neurological development and which has genuine love and respect at its core. I can't recommend ACM highly enough, it's a beautiful place.

We love the nursery. They're a very kind and lovely bunch of people. Our daughter has issues with separation and they handle it very well. We're confident that she is well looked after and has learnt lots from being in the setting.

I started my son at Ashley Cross Montessori when he was just 9 months old and of course being so young I was apprehensive, but I quickly learned there was no need to be. The team are absolutely wonderful. They have really taken the time to get to know my son and he has developed so much since attending just two days a week. The team are amazing at providing updates via the app and so I am always confident that he is well looked after and having fun. I couldn't be happier with his progress and I would recommend Ashley Cross Montessori to other parents in a heartbeat.

A wonderful nurturing nursery environment in both the Children's House and Bambini. My children are flourishing. The learning activities are varied every day and provide great points of conversation. The staff are all very knowledgeable, gently mannered, and always willing to accommodate my children's needs. The growing independence fostered in my children is lovely to witness.

Downstairs the children seemed focused on tasks and play, it seemed calm but fun. Great vibes for little minds to develop and great days of learning and play. So happy to be sending my boy here, highly recommend it.

This is my son's last year here and my daughter also attended for three years before so we have been part of the family for the best part of five years. That’s how it is here. I always feel I'm dropping my kids off to family. But apart from being extremely loving and caring, all the staff make a huge effort to develop the children in all ways necessary. Science experiments and everyday life lessons. I feel very loved that we are part of this family and feel my kids are always safe. More importantly, every time we have some issues at home (those phases or terrible twos we all experience) all the staff have helped. They are the first people I call for advice and together we sit down and put a plan in place. We will be very sad to leave this year as we start school but I have made friends for life and I will always be very grateful. Thank you.

The staff are very well-trained and take a deep interest in the personal development of the children. We have noticed that our child has developed a structure to his routine and a habit of learning. In the current era, there is a decline in inquisitive behaviour and we thank Ashley Cross Montessori Day Nursery for lighting the flame. Thank you.

The nursery is a haven for the children and the gentle teaching style of the tutors is a pleasure to witness. It's a loving learning environment that has played an integral role in my daughter flourishing. I can't rate them high enough.

My daughter loves going there and it's been so good for her development. They do a number of activities so she develops a number of skills as well as having fun. The meals offered are great too so she gets to experience a number of nutrients and tastes.

We are so impressed with the nursery, the communication has been fantastic with regular updates and genuine care from the staff. Our little girl is very happy here and we are excited to watch her grow with the help of the staff.
