Blackberry House Day Nursery (Wisbech)

The ladies at Blackberry House Day Nursery (Wisbech) have been amazing with my son, especially the manager and two members of staff, in particular. They have really brought him on with his speech and making him feel more confident and bringing him out of his shell.

Blackberry House Day Nursery (Wisbech) is the only nursery I have used for both my children. Most recently my 11-month-old started and hasn't had any problems adapting. The communication between the nursery and myself is incredible, not only do they write in her diary and update the app but will speak to me at the end of every session. Thank you ladies!

My little one loves this nursery. Always is looked after, always clean and happy when I pick her up, every time I have feedback from one of the members of staff on how she's been doing, what she was eating etc. Never had any problems at all. Well happy.

We have been going to Blackberry House Day nursery in Wisbech since July. We absolutely love the staff. They are polite and super helpful. My daughter has her quirks and they have quickly learnt what works for her and what doesn't. They make taking her in the mornings less stressful and we get an in-person review about her day which is great and super personal. My daughter loves it there and is mostly keen to go and see her friends. The garden spaces are amazing. Inside is super spacious and clean.

Staff are always friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble.

My son has been with Blackberry House Day Nursery (Wisbech) for two years and his last day was today. They have been absolutely fantastic with him, helped him build his confidence up and met his needs. The staff are amazing and very helpful and polite, I can't fault them at all. I couldn't recommend anyone better than Blackberry and their team, thank you so much again for all your continued hard work and support towards my son, he will miss you all.

My little girl has been at Blackberries for over two years and is now coming up to her last few months before school. She loves going, she loves the staff and I couldn’t fault them with how they treat her. She has come on leaps and bounds with getting ready for school and this is due to their constant support.

Blackberry House has been fantastic with my son for the year he has been with them. Nothing has been too much trouble for them, and we have seen an amazing improvement in his social skills and confidence. The staff obviously care for the children, and each child is treated as an individual. They take a genuine interest in each child's hobbies and interests and use this during the children's day to enhance and encourage learning. Despite my anxieties at first, I am really happy my son goes to Blackberry House! Caring staff, great experience and opportunities, and my son always comes home happy after having a great day!

My son has attended this nursery for over a year now and I cannot fault the nursery for anything. He always comes out with a big smile on his face and I'm always given so much detail about his day during a handover. All the staff have been absolutely amazing and are always happy to offer extra support when required. A few months ago my son would find it a challenge to interact with other children, but since they have given him additional support I am so happy to hear that he is starting to engage in play with other children at his own pace. I could not imagine my child attending another nursery. Definitely the best setting with the most friendly staff.

My daughter loves going to Blackberrys! She has been attending for the past year and has grown in confidence and they have encouraged and supported her development. She especially loves playing outside in the play area. The staff are brilliant and very supportive of us as a family. Thank you to everyone!

All staff have been supportive and helpful in my child's journey. They identify any areas of need and put a plan in place to support each child. They have made toilet training easy on us as busy parents. Our child feels safe and secure in the nursery, we can tell from his behaviours and what he says about the nursery. The ladies all seem friendly and approachable and like they truly care about the children.

Amazing staff with so much heart and a caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing our daughter get excited about going to daycare here. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. We’re very thankful to the whole team.

I am absolutely happy with this Nursery. All the staff are very helpful and reliable. My daughter is very settled and confident. She likes everyday activities. She is ready for school, she knows much more about letters and numbers than my sons knew after reception class.

My 2 young children moved in seamlessly after only 1-hour introduction session. In the first week, I could see big learnings in my eldest for personal conduct re-washing hands, brushing teeth, and safety rules which she enjoyed flaunting before! In 1 session with her carer, she went from little terror to little angel. I have been very impressed with the multiples in the first 10 days. I'm very happy I chose Blackberries for my 2 tots.

Every member of staff has helped my twin sons settle in the nursery and gave them a sense of happiness and security during their time at nursery, now they really enjoy it! The staff are very supportive and enthusiastic in being able to tell us after every session what our children have been doing. Great job all round!

My son has been attending Blackberry House for over a year now. When the nursery re-opened after the first lockdown, I was a little apprehensive but after seeing and reading about all the work the team had put into making the nursery safe for the children's return, I felt happy to send my son back. I was worried that when the schools shut again in January, the nursery was going to shut again which would've been stressful for myself and my husband as I am a front line worker, meaning my husband would have to take time off work. I was pleased with the way the Blackberry House Team communicated to us regularly how they are able to stay open and what extra precautions they have taken in order to keep the staff, children and parents safe. My son thoroughly enjoys going to Blackberry and he is really developing well with thanks to the Blackberry House Team.

Excellent nursery. Staff are very helpful and committed to their work. The nursery manager is excellent and has always been helpful. Our son was late speaking but since going to Blackberry House he has come on in leaps and bounds, with their help. The food menu is excellent. My son loves going, runs straight in.

The staff are lovely and always happy and smiling even through these times always have face coverings on when greeting and when in the nursery settings. COVID questionnaire done every week and if not complete then your child can’t enter the setting which I think is fair! I’m so glad I chose Blackberry House for my little one's nursery, her speech and vocabulary in the last few months has gone from strength to strength. Can not thank the team at Wisbech Blackberry House Nursery enough for everything they do for my little one, nothing is ever too much. 100% recommendation.

I really like being able to see their updates on social media about what the children have been doing. Overall I would happily recommend Blackberry House Wisbech.

I am very pleased with the nursery facilities and staff. My daughter is very welcome, happy and safe in this place. She feels and calls it like the second home for her. Staff are very professional and caring. Also in these unpredictable times, they provide the best start for the later years at school. I am very happy with this place and wish the best of luck in the future.
