Children's Place Barkerend

I was really anxious about my daughter starting nursery but Children's Place Barkerend has been fantastic and my daughter loves it. She was non-verbal when she started and now she is learning her numbers and alphabet and knows all the nursery rhymes. I can see how much her development has improved and the care they give my daughter. She runs in on a morning and you can hear her laughter at the door when I go to pick her up.

Lovely nursery, lovely staff always there with a positive feedback of your child. Good set-up in the room, lots to explore, activities inside and outside. Kids roam freely. Management always good with information regarding the nursery. Staff are always there to listen, give a helping hand etc. They are friendly and always smiling. Thumbs up for Children's Place Barkerend.

As a first time mother dropping off her 9-month-old at nursery for the first time I was extremely nervous and apprehensive. However, the nursery staff reassured me and I was extremely surprised by how quickly my young daughter settled into the nursery. Surprisingly, she didn’t even cry once! Now, almost 6 months later, my daughter loves attending the nursery. Her face lights up when she is welcomed by her keyworkers and she has developed her language and social skills greatly in such a short time which is testament to the hard work of the staff.

The nursery is lovely, the staff are all helpful and caring. All the children love all the staff. They have a great variety of things on offer for the children to do and help develop their communication and speech development. Helping all children feel involved in all activities. Helping them make friends. The safeguarding of the children is amazing and the communication between parent and staff is excellent.

My daughter pleasantly surprised me how quickly she settled and the staff are very welcoming and very professional and engage well with the children.

The staff in the toddler room make you feel so welcomed and help your child. My experience with them has been fantastic for three years and wouldn't go elsewhere.

A fantastic place, my child really enjoys coming to the nursery. Never stops talking about her experience at the nursery. I will definitely send my son too.

My son and now my daughter come to the nursery. They all love the teachers and the staff are really friendly, both towards the parents and the children. My daughter enjoys herself at nursery and at the end of the day, it's a struggle to take her home. We are very pleased that she attends here.

My experience is quite good. My child has been there for approximately one and a half years. He is very happy there. He has speech problems and teachers help him a lot. He also has behavioural issues, so they all deal with my child in a very good way. I am happy with the staff and manager as well. They help me a lot in various ways.

I was recommended by my mum to send my child to this nursery as my sister attended and was very happy with the care she was given. My child has been at this nursery for 3 years now and have never had a problem. The staff and management team are brilliant always considerate and happy to help. The activities held at the nursery are brilliant and aimed at the child's development. The environment is so welcoming and would be happy to recommend This nursery to anyone. Such an outstanding nursery keep it up !!
