Snuggles Day Nursery Bangor

Although Laura’s career has taken her all over the world, she’s always been a Bangor girl at heart. She grew up here and sees Snuggles as a way of giving something back to a community that she feels she owes so much to.

She holds a Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development award as well as an MBA. She pours her heart and soul into making Snuggles the success it is today - with a great vision for the future, too.

Bobbi has been with us since 2016, holds CCLD level 5 and is one of our designated safeguarding officers. Although she is in the office, she always makes sure to visit the rooms and join in with all the singing and dancing. She has two beautiful daughters who always keep her busy!

Rebekah has been a member of the team since October 2019 and holds her CCLD level 5 and is one of our designated safeguarding officers. She is an amazing, energetic supervisor who is a big fan of the Wiggles!! Rebekah plans activities that are fun, interesting and a little bit different, remembering that after a hard day at school, the children want some fun and entertainment. Rebekah certainly provides that!!!

Emma has been working with us since 2016 and holds her CCLD Level 5. Emma is very creative and gives the children so many different activities to cover all areas of their learning, the children are so excited coming into nursery seeing what activities Emma has planned for them!

Lauren started working at Snuggles in March 2019. She enjoys daily craft and is our app superstar, making sure there are plenty of updates for our parents! When Lauren is not in Snuggles, she has her hands full with both her own adorable little boys. She has completed her degree in Early Childhood Studies.

Sarah has also been with us since 2016 and holds her CCLD level 3. She is very energetic and is always on the go, keeping our preschoolers busy throughout the day! She’s a big fan of messy play and making things, so expect to see your children getting hands-on and creative when they spend time with Sarah!

Erin joined us in February 2022, and she is a great asset to our team. She is always creating a home-from-home environment in our baby room, giving out lots of cuddles. She loves planning fun activities for the babies, especially the messy ones. Erin has completed her degree in Early Childhood Studies and has completed First Aid training and Safeguarding Training.

Elaine joined our team in April 2021. She has her Level 3 CCLD, First Aid training and Safeguard Training. Elaine is very versatile as she works in whichever room she is needed for, adapting her skills to communicate with the different age groups as she goes. Having had almost 30 years of experience working in childcare, she didn’t take long to fit in!!

Aimee has a daughter and a son, working in our baby room part-time. She is very compassionate about the babies, and with her gentle, soothing manner, the babies immediately feel secure and comfortable in her care.

Zoe started in May 2019. She has qualified with her Level 3 Diploma for Children’s Care, learning and Development, as well as her Level 2 in Food Hygiene and Safety. Zoe is very patient and calm, which are great attributes to have in a nursery setting.

Zoe is now working part-time, as she has 2 beautiful children of her own, who keep her busy when she is not working in Snuggles. You’ll often find Zoe cooking away in the kitchen, making all the yummy meals for our children!

Amy is one of our longest-standing staff members, having joined the nursery in 2013. She is a happy, regular face for the toddlers and always takes a lot of time getting to know your little ones and their personalities. Amy is proud to have her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare.

Jodie’s been working in the nursery since she was a student, taking time off to have her own children, but coming back to us each time – vindication of the family feeling we have amongst the Snuggles staff. She’s also a keen crafter and a huge Christmas fan!

Sam holds her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare Learning and Development. She loves spending time with the children, making them happy and interacting with them through activities, songs and stories. She also has a very busy home life with 5 children to look after!!

Stacey mainly works in our after-school room, bringing different activity ideas for the children to get involved with each week. She has many years of experience working with children and also has two beautiful daughters at home!

Kacie mainly works in our baby and toddler rooms. She is dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for the children where they feel valued, supported and encouraged to grow.

Eve is a very energetic, playful nursery staff member who brings enthusiasm and positivity to our setting. She is mainly known by her lively approach and ability to create a joyful, stimulating environment.

Krystal is with us part-time in the baby room as she is currently studying. Krystal brings positive vibes with lots of singing for our babies.

Laureen is a valued member of staff. She is always ensuring the babies get lots of cuddles, don’t tell the others but she definitely gives the best hugs.

Robyn has recently joined our team and is currently working on her CCLD Level 3. She is known for her gentle approach, strong patience and genuine love for helping children grow, thrive and learn.

Khrystina is another one of our part-time staff; she enjoys moving through each room, working with all the age ranges. She is very hands-on, playing games and building with the children. She is very enthusiastic about creative learning.

Nicky is a hugely important part of the Snuggles team – he’s responsible for taking your little ones to and from Snuggles safely, and making sure they spend the whole journey laughing and singing. He finds the children to be great company, and he knows all the words to ‘the wheels on the bus’. Of course, he does. Nicky has had his First aid and Safeguarding training.

Billy joined the team in September 2021 He has had his First aid and Safeguarding training. He is a valued member of staff, safely transporting the children to and from nursery and school each day. Billy enjoys chatting with the children in his care and has plenty of stories to tell on his return to Snuggles!!

Harry is one of our drivers and he is great with our preschool and afterschool children, getting them all safely to and from school. Most of you parent’s may know him from your little ones as “Best friend Harry”
