Snuggles Day Nursery Bangor

Although Laura’s career has taken her all over the world, she’s always been a Bangor girl at heart. She grew up here and sees Snuggles as a way of giving something back to a community that she feels she owes so much to.

She holds a Level 3 Children’s Care, Learning & Development award as well as an MBA. She pours her heart and soul into making Snuggles the success it is today – with a great vision for the future too.

Bobbi has been with us since 2016 and holds CCLD levels 3 and 5 as well as First Aid and Safeguarding training and Managing Children's behaviour.

She loves the friendly supportive atmosphere at Snuggles. Her favourite activities with the children include singing, dancing and our fabulous outdoor activities, and she has a daughter who keeps her busy when not at work!

Rebekah has been a member of the team since October 2019 and holds her CCLD Level 3, First Aid and Safeguarding training as well as Managing Children's Behaviour and is currently doing CCLD Level 5. She is an amazing, energetic supervisor who is a big fan of the Wiggles!! Rebekah plans activities that are fun, interesting and a little bit different, remembering that after a hard day at school, the children want some fun and entertainment. Rebekah certainly provides that!!!

Emma has been working with us since 2016 and holds her Level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education, she is currently working towards her Level 5. Emma is very creative and gives the children so many different activities to cover all areas of their learning, the children are so excited coming into the nursery and seeing what activities Emma has planned for them!

Lauren started working in Snuggles in March 2019. She holds CCLD Level 3, A degree in early childhood studies, First aid and Safeguarding Training, as well as Managing Children's Behaviour. She enjoys daily crafts and takes many photos for the parent app of all the happy smiling faces of the children enjoying their day. When Lauren is not in Snuggles, she has her hands full with her own adorable little boy! Go, Lauren!!

Sarah has also been with us since 2016 and holds her CCLD level 3, First Aid and Safeguarding Training and Managing Children's Behaviour. She likes to spend as much time as possible with the children so that she can get to know and understand their personalities. She’s a big fan of messy play and making things, so expect to see your children getting hands-on and creative when they spend time with Sarah!

Erin joined us in February 2022 and she enjoys having a taste of every room. She holds a CCLD Level 3 and is working towards a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies and is enjoying the experience she is gaining in Snuggles Day Nursery. Erin also has completed First Aid training and Safeguard Training.

Elaine joined our team in April 2021. She has her Level 3 CCLD, First Aid training and Safeguards Training. She is very versatile as she works in whichever room she is needed for, adapting her skills to communicate with the different age groups as she goes. Having had almost 30 years of experience working in childcare, she didn’t take long to fit in!!

Aimee has a daughter and a son, working in our baby room part-time. She is very compassionate about the babies and with her gentle, soothing manner, the babies immediately feel secure and comfortable in her care. She has a CCLD level 3. First Aid and Safeguarding Training and Managing Children's Behaviour.

Zoe started in May 2019. She has qualified with a Level 3 Diploma for Children’s Care, Learning and Development. As well as First Aid, Safeguarding Training and Managing Children's Behaviour. Zoe is very patient and calm which are great attributes to have in a nursery setting. Zoe is now working part-time, as she has 2 beautiful children of her own, who keep her busy when she is not working in Snuggles.

Amy is proud to have her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and First Aid and Safeguarding Training and Managing Children's Behaviour. She is one of our Designated Safeguarding Officers. Amy enjoys the interaction with the children, aiding the development of their social skills whilst playing and having fun.

Jodie’s been working in the nursery since she was a student, taking time off to have her own children but coming back to us each time – a vindication of the family feeling we have amongst the Snuggles staff. She’s also a keen crafter and every time she comes back to us, she seems to have learned even more crafting skills!

She holds a CCLD level 2. First Aid and Safeguarding Training and Managing Children's Behaviour.

Sam has her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, learning and development. Sam loves spending time with the children making them happy and interacting with them through activities, songs and stories. She also has a very busy home life with 4 children to look after!!

Stacey mainly works in our afterschool room bringing different activity ideas for the children to get involved with each week. She has many years of experience working with children and also has a daughter at home!

Kacie is currently working on her Level 3 Diploma in Childcare, learning and development. She has her first aid and safeguards training. Sam loves spending time with the children making them happy and interacting with them through activities, songs and stories.

Eva is working towards her Level 3 childcare, and has her first aid and safeguard training. Eva works between our preschool and afterschool rooms and she is able to adapt her skills to each age group and knows the routine of each room and each individual child.

Nicky is a hugely important part of the Snuggles team – he’s responsible for taking your little ones to and from Snuggles safely, and making sure they spend the whole journey laughing and singing. He finds the children to be great company, and he knows all the words to ‘the wheels on the bus’. Of course, he does. Nicky has had his First aid and Safeguarding training.

Billy joined the team in September 2021 He has had his First aid and Safeguarding training. He is a valued member of staff, safely transporting the children to and from nursery and school each day. Billy enjoys chatting with the children in his care and has plenty of stories to tell on his return to Snuggles!!

Harry is responsible for taking your little ones to and from Snuggles safely. He loves singing along to nursery rhymes on the journeys. Harry has his first aid and safeguards training.
