My children both started attending Sleepy Hollow Crumlin last January, after a quick and easy settling-in period, they were more than happy with the transition. Sleepy Hollow has helped them immensely with confidence and social skills and it makes everything so much easier, knowing your kids are happy
and well looked after while you are at work. We love the updates and photos and hearing all about their days

My little girl has been going to Sleepy Hollow in Crumlin since she was 10 months old (she's now 2 and a half.) Throughout her time there, I can honestly say I have not had one bad experience. She has progressed through 2 rooms and I find each transition has been handled perfectly, with my child's needs
being a priority each time. I find this is a reflection on the staff and the care they provide.
When we approach the building each morning she gets excited and shouts out "Yay, daycare!" as she genuinely enjoys being there which makes going to work so much easier knowing my child is in an environment that allows her to thrive.

We started using Sleepy Hollow when our oldest daughter was 9 months old, for any Mum it's a very upsetting experience leaving your baby for the first time but the previous manager put us at ease, she always contacted us if she had any concerns at all so I always felt reassured I would be kept up to
date with everything. The app is great but the previous manager also lifted the phone to us, I like that extra personal touch. Our second daughter is now in Sleepy Hollow full-time with the new manager and her team is very approachable, great with the kids and quick to answer any queries we may have. It's very clear the staff all adore children and many of the staff who looked after our first baby in 2019 are still there. Having wraparound childcare is essential when we both work full time and we love that we don't need to move them from Sleepy Hollow. They both love it so much I can't get them to leave at pick-up time, they've made so many lifelong friends. It would be great to have 30 hours free childcare but obviously this is totally out of Sleepy Hollow's hands.

My child has the best time when they attend. With lots of activities planned and arts and crafts, we get to hear plenty of stories of what they have been up to. They like to prioritise outdoor play, which we love. Staff are great, attentive and my child is fond of each and every one. We are kept informed
throughout the day, through the app, how our little one is doing. We get an update of food which is served, letting us prepare our own dinners at home around what they have got in nursery. Would highly recommend.

Great daycare with fantastic staff. Both children have been there since they were babies and receive excellent care. The staff makes it special as they are so friendly and personable. Surrounded by lovely countryside the kids get to enjoy the fresh air.

We are so happy with Sleepy Hollow. The staff are amazing and have always treated my son with so much love and care. The manager seems to have a real passion for Early Years Education. Activities are varied, creative and engaging. Communication is excellent. I look forward to updates on the app, messages
are really personal and the photos are fab. Booking ad-hoc days is very flexible and straightforward. A great nursery.

I can't praise the staff enough. My daughter started Sleepy Hollow when she was just 6 months old and the staff have just been amazing. She smiles every day going into creche and doesn't want to leave when I pick her up. The staff are always happy and smiling, it certainly makes it easier for me to
go to work knowing my child is having the best day ever. She is exhausted at night time from all the activities and fun she has had all day. It's a fabulous creche and if I could give them a 10-star review I would.

My little one has been at Sleepy Hollow for five months now, and she loves it. The staff made the transition for her to start nursery seamless. They were so supportive, and my baby just loved being in their company. The staff provide daily updates on activities, food eaten and nappies. When my baby
had a small head bump accident, they informed us straight away and kept us updated. When I have asked for changes to be made, like nap schedules or dietary changes, the staff have implemented them immediately and made sure everyone is aware. The staff are one of the best things about Sleepy Hollow, and the reason I’d highly recommend this crèche to friends and family.
The facilities are great, but it’s the activities planned that I like the most. Lots of outdoor activities are organised when the weather is good. As well as plenty of creative and sensory-stimulating activities. I feel that my child’s development has improved vastly from attending crèche here.

With my children starting back in a new school year with many settle taking place, Sleepy Hollow was great at understanding and working with me on those settles and picks ups etc, and the children were happy and content and felt very safe when being collected and brought back to Sleepy Hollow. My son
was especially excited to get on the bus; this was the highlight of getting dropped off and picked up again. The staff within the room are so caring and attentive to all the children, and this made the transition into school become much more enjoyable for everyone.

My little boy loves attending Sleepy Hollow and will talk about the staff positively even on days he does not attend. The staff are always pleasant towards myself on drop off and pick up and are very quick to reply to messages at any time of day.

Sleepy Hollow nursery has been fantastic for the last eight months our child has been there. The facilities are great, with plenty of outside play when the weather is good. The activities each day are brilliant and have really supported our child’s development. I personally have found every single staff
member to be amazing and really engaged with our son, doing anything we ask them to do, such as reducing time or doing extra changes if he has a nappy rash. They have always been fantastic when our child has been under the weather, never sending him home if the medicine helps. This has been hugely helpful as full-time workers. The food menu is also brilliant, and our child tends to eat better in the nursery than at home. Our child also runs into the nursery most mornings and thoroughly enjoys his time there each day!

I really like Sleepy Hollow. My favourite part is the people; they make it feel better to leave our kids for the day.
I enjoy the mix of activities the kids do and the pictures and messages about their day.
Things that could be improved.
While the outdoor play areas are ok, the new Sleepy Hollow
outdoor areas are better, such as climbing frames. Happy to hear you are adding a new play area. Love Dennis the Donkey for kids at the Crumlin.
One of my favourite aspects of the nursery was the great menu when we started, stirfry, chicken etc. I feel recently it has changed, alot of waffles, beans, sausages and cheaper meats and now desserts are removed but not expressly told to parents. I have seen an improvement in April meals, so I hope this continues to back to less processed foods.
Overall, would recommend Sleepy Hollow to anyone.

We did have climbing frames in the playground areas but found these to have a single purpose, and only a few children could play at one time on these. So we preferred to remove these for the multi-purpose space area and make use of the toddler bus and minibus to go to the park instead. In terms of menus, we can only have processed foods once per week, so this is something we will definitely be reviewing with the managers, who have just recently been on nutritional management training, so are aware of this! Finally, we haven’t removed puddings, we have just changed these until after lunch. We found the children weren’t eating lunch, as well, preferring to wait for dessert. This is now offered after lunch. We also offer high tea late afternoon. Nutritional guidance is something, as directors, is very important to us, so thank you for raising these concerns, which we will meet to discuss with the nursery management as a priority

I have two children in Sleepy Hollow who absolutely love the setting. My youngest is so creative and very imaginative due to the activities she does at Sleepy Hollow. The staff are amazing, honest and so very caring with all the children. My eldest has been in Sleepy Hollow from a very young age and
has severe learning difficulties. The staff are so good with him and two of his very few words are Sleepy Hollow as he loves it so much. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I cannot write enough nice things about Sleepy Hollow. I have experienced three different nurseries over my six years of parenting and Sleepy Hollow by far outstrips all of them.
The staff are the most caring, kind and thoughtful team ever - you can feel their genuine love for your child and it's
evident in how trusting my kids are of them and how bonded they got and quickly.
They give you proper detailed updates and make the effort to take beautiful photos and share them daily which is so appreciated. They do not sugarcoat things either and are honest if your wee one isn't 100%, which I feel is important.
The imaginative and well-thought-out activities are beautiful, educational and natural and I have really noticed this type of play having a great effect on my toddler who is far more exploratory than my elder was who was at nurseries with tacky bright plastic stuff everywhere.
Management is super responsive, informative and accommodating. Cannot rate highly enough.
