Little Rays in Lisburn was the first nursery opened by Little Rays Nursery group which now runs 3 nurseries. They care for children aged between 2 months and 12 years, with both full and part time care available.

The dedicated team of staff are carefully selected based on their relevant qualifications and experience, undergoing rigorous Access NI checks and local Trust vetting before employment. Parents can rest assured that all staffing ratios consistently meet minimum standards, with 100% of the team either qualified or actively pursuing a childcare qualification. Many of the team have been employed for over 10 years.

Each room is thoughtfully equipped with activities specifically designed for the children using it, ensuring engagement and development within their own age group. Outdoors, children can explore in the secure and stimulating areas, which are equipped for active play, imaginative adventures, and discovery. A varied and nutritional menu of food is served to children every day to ensure they have energy to carry out their busy nursery day.

I am very happy with the nursery. The facilities and standard of care are excellent. The staff are amazing and always helpful. My kids love going to nursery and always look forward to seeing their friends and the staff.

Both my children currently attend Little Rays from they were 9 months old, now 8 and 14 months old. The staff have been fantastic especially looking after our child with additional needs. From reopening due to covid, the staff have been doing a fantastic job at following relevant guidelines. The staff
do a great job at planning daily activities, keeping us the parents up to date on how our children have got on that day. The nursery itself is a fun, vibrant and caring place. I would highly recommend Little Rays.

The last year has been extremely difficult trying to balance work with childcare. Since the nursery reopened again in July 2020 it has been a great relief to have our son back in nursery. We both appreciate the efforts the staff and management team have gone to, to ensure the safety of all the children
and to minimise the risks from COVID to ensure the nursery remains open. Our son really enjoys Little Rays and has bonded easily with the staff. It is of great peace of mind to me and my wife that we know our son is happy and very well cared for each day he is there. The staff are exceptional. We both appreciate how busy their day can be looking after a number of children, meeting their individual needs, planning and carrying out different activities with them as well as the valuable individual child updates via the nursery app throughout the day. Our son also moved up a level in the nursery in January 2021 and has settled really well. This is testament to the caring nature of the staff.

Both of my children have been attending Little Rays since they were less than a year old. It is natural to be concerned leaving your child for the first time, but all my concerns were alleviated when I learnt how professional and caring Little Rays are. I am so impressed at how hands-on the staff is
and how they remember everything; from sharing information between colleagues to managing allergies and individual circumstances. They know every child by name and genuinely care about them. The variety of activities the children do on a daily basis is fantastic. My children are delighted to go into Little Rays and know the girls who look after them by name. All in all a great nursery and I'm really glad we chose Little Rays for our children.

I can't really describe how awesome Little Rays is, as close to home from home you can get.
My little girl has been at Little Rays Lisburn since she was 9 months old. She has learnt so much and the staff are outstanding in every way. My little girl is now 2 and a half and runs in, she has taken to
doing yoga copying the older kids when they join together. There are a wide variety of toys and activities to keep those little minds growing and learning. The staff have told me she is the funniest caring child and that means so much that her we personality is coming out and encouraged by the staff on so many different levels. I have complete confidence in them and I know my little girl enjoys being in nursery which gives me great peace of mind when having a stressful day at work.
The staff are approachable, friendly and take a real interest in all the children. Management are very helpful and accommodating, with any query esp when payment hasn't gone out on the government site.

I currently have both my children at Little Rays, both have been there since I returned to work from maternity leave - one is nearly 3 and the other is 7. One has been, and the younger will be, attending Little Rays Nursery (if accepted). Their care for my children has always been exceptional. Both
have and continue to learn so much from all the girls who are so friendly, kind, and have a genuine caring disposition towards the children. Their educating and preparation for both primary school and for everyday life is wonderful.

My son has been Little Rays since he was under 1 year of age and is now 4. He progressed through all the rooms seamlessly and absolutely loves it. We have found every staff member we have encountered exceptional at there job. I feel very very safe leaving my son in their hands. I could not ask for more.

My daughter has thrived from the day she started in Little Ray's just under 2 years.
The staff are and continue to be fantastic. Any concerns as new parents we had, the guys were able to offer a lot of advice and guidance. This made us so much more comfortable with leaving our daughter in someone
else's care. Even when changing rooms as she got older, every staff member we encountered are fantastic. My daughter is always so so happy when she's going to "the boys and girls house". She rushes to get dressed and into the car. For a 2 and half year old, we think that speaks volumes about the day nursery and the experience that she is having there on daily basis. We couldn't be happier that we were able to get our daughter into little Ray's. If we have another baby, there will be no hesitation where he/she will be going. Thanks to all the staff at Little Ray's.

Absolutely amazing nursery and staff. My daughter has been there since she was 7 months old and I couldn’t have left her in better care. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and fantastic at their job. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. Throughout this pandemic, the nursery and their staff have
been a constant in the children’s lives and helped them maintain a sense of normal in these crazy times. I am so happy with my decision to send my daughter here.

Little Rays in Lisburn is amazing. All three of my children went to the nursery and my eldest is 12 and the youngest who is still at the nursery is 4. All the same, staff have been looking after my three children and they are amazing. They love my children like they are there own. I really wish them
the best and would recommend the nursery to every parent.

My little girl was just 12 weeks old when I had to return to work part time. I had reservations leaving her but the staff at Little Rays Nursery made it so much easier. They are fantastic, have a great rapport with the children and instantly put me at ease. My two girls now go to Little Rays Nursery,
both love it and all the staff. They were so patient settling them in.
I visited other Nurseries but Little Rays Nursery stood out immediately. A welcoming atmosphere, homely, fresh homemade food and clean. The staff are approachable, friendly and take a real interest in the children. Management are very helpful and accommodating, with any query or request.
The Nursery Pal app is amazing. It’s reassuring to see pictures of them. The staff are great at uploading photos, informing us of daily activities, nappy changes, sleep and what they have eaten.
They provide fun activities. The facilities and resources are great and play rotation is frequent, allowing lots of learning opportunities.
I can’t recommend little rays and the staff enough!

I find the staff at Little Rays to be very friendly and fantastic with my child. I cannot fault the well-balanced meal options throughout the day and the addition of the MyNurseryPal updates help me feel that even though I’m not with him I can still see what he has eaten, what activities he’s done,
and if there has been any issues at any time of the day. Couldn’t recommend this nursery enough!

My daughter has been attending Little Rays since she was six months old. She's now just over a year old.
I could not be happier with the team looking after her, I have complete confidence in them and I know my daughter enjoys being in nursery which gives me great peace of mind as a working mum.
The
app is an added bonus. I love seeing what my daughter is up to every day and the pictures of her smiling and happy give me reassurance.

I don’t think there are words to explain how much I love Little Rays!


Our daughter started in the baby room at 9 months and is now 2 years old. She has changed from a shy little lady to a confident toddler and I credit this to the staff.


The care they show for her is just amazing! You know she’s

happy when she asks to see a certain staff member on Christmas Day! She wanted to show her the presents Santa brought!


She is a fussy eater but loves the food at nursery and eats things she would never touch at home! Perhaps I need some cookery lessons!


The app is an amazing feature. It allows me to check on her and see photos of the fun she’s having.


I hated the thought of leaving her when I returned to work but Little Rays made that transition easy for me. There were no tears when I left her so I knew she would be in safe hands.


I can’t thank the staff enough for all they do for our daughter.

We have had our son in Little Rays since he was 14 months old. The girls have been brilliant with him; initially around settling him in and then developing a great rapport and relationship with him. There is always lots for him to do and the updates we get on the nursery app site are great. Unfortunately,
we are taking him out while my wife is off on maternity with our second but we will be back!

My sons have really enjoyed their time at Little Rays Nursery, making many friends and learning and growing in a safe, secure and fun environment. They both have been at the nursery since they were nine months old and I feel the nursery has been integral in their physical, social and mental development.


Both

of my children have always been happy to go to nursery, having fun with their friends and enjoying a wide variety of activities. I would have no hesitation in recommending Little Rays to any of my friends.


All the staff are very professional being both friendly and approachable, the children clearly feel safe and happy.

I was so worried about my little girl going into daycare when I returned to work but as soon as I had a view of Little Rays I just knew it was the place to send her. We were made to feel so welcome on our first visit and my daughter loved it. She has been attending Little Rays for just under one year
and she has come on so well. I couldn't recommend this place enough. The staff are fantastic! Also, the nursery app is brilliant!

My son has been at Little Rays since he was nine months old and he is now three and a half. All the staff who have looked after him have been wonderful and he has always been very fond of them. They are very caring and make him feel special on a daily basis. I love being able to check on what he is
up to using the app and seeing photos of him playing with his friends. My son has picked up so much from being at Little Rays and I would highly recommend it.

My child has been here from 6 months and is now ready for primary school. I have never had cause to doubt the care my child has had and although at the beginning I queries many a thing it was always fine. I could not recommend this nursery enough as a safe and loving haven for a child.
