The Den Day Nursery

Our daughter attended the Den for 2 and a half years. We cannot recommend the Den and the staff team enough. The staff are caring and enthusiastic. There have been numerous activities/ themed days arranged which have been excellent. From hearing reports of other nurseries, the Den appears to go over and beyond what would be considered standard for childcare facilities. We were sorry our time at the Den came to an end but have very fond memories.

As first-time parents, choosing the right nursery felt like a big decision, but the staff have been so friendly, welcoming, and supportive from day one. They've helped put us at ease and genuinely care about the children. It's reassuring to know our little one is in such kind and capable hands. We'd definitely recommend to other parents.

I have my two children both at the den and the first started in 2024. The staff have went above and beyond to support my children and are always flexible. I can't rate them highly enough and would not hesitate to recommend the Den to family or friends. I can leave my children off and not worry about them as I know they are safe, cared for and having the opportunity to engage in many varied developmentally appropriate activities.

My 3 year old absolutely loves going in there every day and has such a great bond with all the staff caring for her which makes me so happy to see. They provide never ending activities and I've really noticed the new skills and constant development in her which is all thanks to the staff.

The Den Day Nursery has been a life changer for us & our little boy. Having to go back to work full time was very hard for me to do but the amazing staff who take care of my son every day have made it so much easier. My son has come out of his shell so much since he started there, the ladies give him so much care and attention from minute he arrives to the minute he leaves. We are so grateful. His speech & social skills have improved so much since he started months ago and I also really appreciate the regular updates we get about him throughout the days.

The team genuinely care about the children, and we couldn't be happier with our decision to send her there. As The Den is our only form of support, we're especially grateful for everything they do for our daughter. We can't thank them enough and would recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, nurturing environment for their child.

Communication with parents has been excellent, and it's obvious that the team truly cares about every child as an individual. We'd happily recommend The Den to any family looking for a high-quality nursery.

We really love the Den! My child has been going since age 1 up until 4. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We chose it for various reasons including good meals and a range of varied activities eg celebrating themed days etc. My child has really thrived here. Thanks Den!

The Den is such a special nursery. My son has been attending for almost three years and my daughter for one year. They have received quality care at every stage. The staff and management are fantastic, and clearly go the extra mile for the children, including through varied and special activities. I truly couldn't rate it more highly!

The Den is a friendly, welcoming and supportive nursery. The staff are approachable, knowledgeable and kind. They have supported my child to reach his milestones, make new friendships and learn lots of new skills. It has an outdoor space where children can go everyday. My child is very happy here!

My daughter has thrived in every single way in the Den. She came from another local nursery which she was completely withdrawn in and very unhappy. Instantly she was shown so much genuine care and kindness that she settled (against the odds) and has never looked back. She started in the baby room and is in pre school. I cannot imagine these years without the Den and the entire team which she and I have got to know. They are really first class and genuinely care and provide such a stimulating environment for all kids. I have a really happy girlie who loves to go and see her friends!

The activities are amazing and very engaging and we always appreciate the updates and communication about our child's day. We would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a caring, professional, and supportive environment where children can thrive.

Staff are friendly, approachable and knowledgeable, they have supported my child since joining 2 years ago. He takes part in varied activities each day which has helped him to meet his milestones, create friendships and also we have seen his confidence and independence grow over this time.

We can't rate The Den highly enough. We've experienced baby room, tots and toddlers and it's clear that every staff member puts in the most they possibly can to their work and truly care for the children. The activities are so well planned, themed and include a range of sensory play, physical play, emotional literacy, outdoor experiences, trips and other broad areas of development. They couldn't give the children a better start! The meals and snacks are healthy, plentiful and enjoyed thoroughly by the children. They have a close relationship with parents and carers with excellent communication through the app, posting multiple pictures a day and providing updates on nappy changes, sleep, eating, play etc. We couldn't imagine our children anywhere else after viewing other local nurseries!

As a first time parent I was so nervous about putting my 11 month in nursery and this fear completely disappeared once she started the Den. They are super flexible to our changing circumstances as well as doing everything to help our daughter settle in, even when she struggled initially they put so much effort into the things she loved to make her comfortable. Also she eats so well at nursery that she barely needs anything when she gets home which is great for working parent! Lovely lovely staff and a safe and understanding space

We can't speak highly enough of the Den Day nursery. Both my son and daughter have attended, and always had great care from the staff here. The management changed recently and since then I think the level of detail, care and attention has improved even more. The facilities have been upgraded and the activities held for both parents and children have been excellent, such as an open day to see the kids in their room setting to visit from outside groups. My daughter continues to thrive and I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

The Den is an extremely special place where we have been lucky enough to send both our children. They both have been incredibly happy, gained confidence, made lovely friends and learned so much! As a teacher I have been very impressed by the range in planned activities and opportunities for learning. Our children love the food, they are very well fed! Facilities are excellent too. What really sets The Den apart is the staff who are all amazing! Our children love them dearly and are always happy to see them in the morning. We couldn't recommend The Den highly enough and genuinely have recommended to friends!

Lots of activities and outside entertainment provided. Great garden area and options for wrap around care with preschools in the area.

We were nervous about leaving our 8month old into nursery but he has settled in so well at the Den. The staff are all professional and caring and get to know your little ones personality. The communication is great and there are lots of extracurricular activities put on for the kids.
