Step by Step Private Nursery Cumbernauld

We have been using this service provider for a number of years now and as a family feel extremely lucky to have found this gem of a nursery. All staff, especially the management team go above and beyond all expectations and are all tuned into our children's needs. We as a family would be lost without all the support over the years. Keep up the good work everyone :)

My wee boy adores Step by Step. I can't believe the things he knows at only the age of 2! The activities the nursery do are amazing and my wee one learns so much. My child never knows he is learning but the staff plan play in such an imaginative way that skills naturally develop! I have always found the staff and managers to be friendly and approachable. Nothing is too much trouble. My wee boy runs into nursery every day. The atmosphere is just lovely. We viewed so many other nurseries before choosing Step by Step Cumbernauld and I can honestly say there is absolutely no comparison. You feel it as soon as you walk through the door.

Have been using Step by Step nursery for 7 years now and would highly recommend. The staff provide a wonderful caring, nurturing, all-inclusive environment for our precious babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to play, learn & thrive! The team are very approachable and my children have both loved their Step by Step experiences.

I cannot emphasise enough how delighted I am with Step by Step nursery Cumbernauld. The staff are wonderful and very reassuring and the exciting things they come up with for the children to do are all excellent, fun and encourage learning. The staff are also excellent at keeping parents up to date with what has happened through the day. A wonderful place and I am so glad we found it!

I have used step by step for 13 years! My eldest 2 went from babies and my youngest has been going for over a year now. The manager and her staff are amazing and very approachable. I haven't had any issues and all my children loved going to step by step

Absolutely fantastic nursery with a loving, caring and nurturing attitude towards the children. Fantastic communication with parents and all staff are hardworking and dedicated. My son has thrived in the nursery and I am very pleased with all aspects of the nursery.

Highly recommend Step by Step nursery. Both my children have a fun and educational time there and love going. As a parent, I get an informative update every day when I pick the children up. Also get regular photographic updates of the children's days via the facebook page and also the learning journals.

This is an extremely welcoming and professional nursery.

Staff are approachable and the level of care towards children is very high.

Progression is noted continually for my child.

Shall be sad to end the sessions as school soon approaches.

My son is Profound Deaf from birth and wears Cochlear implants and has been looked after since he was 8months old. The care and attentiveness shown to him over the years has in no doubt helped his development and the Management and staff have engaged fully with his Support Group to enhance both his sign and verbal communication. I can't praise this Nursery enough and feel they at times go above and beyond their responsibilities. Great Team and would have no hesitation to recommend them to anyone.

This nursery has cared for our son since he was 10 months old and are an extension of our family. Every member of staff talk about every child like they are the only one there, they are very switched on. In my opinion, especially the manager goes over and above the call of duty no matter what the issue is. The day we leave the nursery will be sad however we have given him an excellent start in life. We tackled behaviour issues and this was handled professionally and with empathy towards us as parents, support and always positive. Forever grateful.

Fabulous nursery. The educational aspect is amazing. Feel confident my child is cared for. Communication is second to none. Always kept up to date. They really know my child. So many different educational, sensory, social activities. Fabulous ideas. Staff are all fantastic.

My son has been at Step by Step since he was 10 months old and he is now moving into preschool. From the minute I entered the nursery when scouting I immediately knew this was the environment I wanted my son to be in. It's very open, staff are always inviting and engaging and involving the children in fun but educational learning activities. From the beginning step by step were clear they operate AROUND the child's routine, not working the child towards their routine which no other nursery operated. They identify where a child's abilities may be exceeding expectation and challenge the child reinforced with praise which makes my son feel special. They work tirelessly to ensure the individual needs of my child, and me as his parent, are met and even open on Saturdays to ensure parents don't miss out on important time with their child's key worker. I would not hesitate in recommending Step by Step Cumbernauld to anyone.

My child loves attending. He is always very excited about going. Always talking about the staff and has an excellent relationship with all the staff. I'm always amazed at the ideas the staff have to keep the children engaged throughout the day. The staff don't just show affection and caring towards the child but care for the whole family unit.
