Happitots Nursery Bishopbriggs has an experienced team of nursery practitioners who provide day care for children from twelve weeks to five years of age. Out of school care and a holiday club are also available for children aged five to eleven years of age.

Delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

Happitots Nursery has different playrooms for each individual age group. Playrooms are bright, colourful and offer a range of natural resources in a stimulating environment. Each age range has its own individual garden for children to experience a variety of activities and make use of various resources.

The nursery makes full use of the local community, where children enjoy visits to the parks, library, pet shop, police station and local shops.

Happitots provides breakfast, a morning and afternoon snack and a two-course healthy lunch cooked by the on-site nursery chef. All menus have been NHS accredited and are made with fresh ingredients, and where possible, organic.

I have used this nursery since 2008 and have three sons. I have always found the staff to be very friendly and helpful and the premises to be clean and orderly. My children have always been very well looked after and I have always felt very confident in the ability of the staff in all the rooms. Having
used the baby room and after school and all the rooms in between. I have never hesitated to recommend this nursery to friends and colleagues.

Both my children have attended Happitots and strived within their care. I had to place my children here at 9 months old which was hard for me, however, the staff are so loving and understanding they put me at ease and allowed me to call during the day to see how they had settled. My daughter is currently
in the toddler room and loves coming to nursery - always goes in with a smile and has lots of stories of the fun activities she has done to tell when I pick her up. She has come on leaps and bounds since going into the toddler room, for example, her speech, counting, understanding of sharing etc. She is so happy at Happitots which really puts me at ease and I can't imagine putting my trust in any other nursery to care for her the way Happitots do.

My son has been attending Happitots since he was 9 months old. The staff and management have always been excellent. Very accommodating since day 1. My son is almost 4 now and having watched him grow and move from room to room the nursery is planned very well. The move from babies to tweenies when they
are steady on their feet seems a more suitable jump from a baby room straight to a toddler room. The staff are professional, honest and down to earth which is what you need when your child is in their care. My son is now in pre-school and is flourishing there, although he only attends 3 days per week. The staff are nurturing and genuinely caring when it comes to the children. I like how they are following Curriculum for Excellence in pre-school and preparing the children effectively for their transition to primary school. My son is given lots of opportunities to learn actively and enjoys attending nursery, long may it continue! Well done!

My Son really lives going to the nursery. Can’t wait to get his jacket off and into the nursery room every day he goes.

My two children attended afterschool care at Happitots, the staff are fantastic & it is spotless. I'm assured from my 10yr old the snacks are "fantastic" only quality ingredients are used. One thing that struck me right away was how safe it was. Great security. Great activities for every age. I'd highly

So pleased I chose Happitots for my daughter. The staff are fabulous, my little one has settled in so well, it's like her 2nd home! Play equipment constantly updated to keep them engaged and entertained, themed days to provide variety. Can't speak highly enough of everyone!

I think Happitots Bishopbriggs is a great nursery. My little girl has come on a lot since she started. The staff are brilliant with her and keep me up to date with anything that happens with her and anything that's happening within the nursery. They always have fun activities and they are outdoors all

Happitots Nursery is a wonderful nursery with a nurturing environment and wealth of resources. My child's recent key worker was an excellent example of professionalism and acted in an attentive and caring manner towards him. It is so reassuring to hear details about his day, indicating how much of an
individual he is treated as. Happitots is led by a superb manager who takes the time to talk to children and parents with genuine interest and is incredibly accommodating with special requests.

Have been great with my daughter. Settled in well after missing 4 months of nursery. She was scared and really nervous but absolutely everyone made her feel very welcome. Now she's getting on great and a happy wee girl again, really can't thank them enough.

Our eldest has been in the nursery for 4 and a half years and his little brother has been in just over 18 months and the nursery has been a fantastic influence on them. The children have learnt so much more than we could ever teach them as parents and have really flourished since attending. It was
a sad moment when our eldest had his last day at nursery. All aspects of the nursery are faultless and we couldn't imagine sending them anywhere else.

Happitots Bishopbriggs is like my extended family. I can rely on them 100% and any question or query I have is met with the same happy enthusiasm from ALL members of staff. I've needed extra sessions this month and the nursery has been great at helping me meet my extra childcare needs.
The nursery
is always improving their facilities and plans for the children and parent input is always encouraged and well received by the manager and nursery staff.
My kids are very happy here which makes everyone's lives happy and stress-free.
Thanks to all there for making it easy for me to get to and be at work!

My child has attended this nursery since he was about a year old. He is now in the after school club. My older child (now in High School) also attended the nursery and after school club. During this whole period, I have not had any issues with the care given to my child. The nursery has a friendly and
welcoming approach which the children seem to like. Staff are interested in the children's views and give them consideration when making decisions. As a parent, I feel that lines of communication are open. Staff make an effort to keep me informed regarding what's going on. They are always friendly and welcoming when I'm picking up my child. I am happy with the service both my child and I are receiving.

My name is Linsey, I have been in Childcare since leaving school in 2004. I started out as a Modern apprentice before gaining my qualification. I then became a practitioner, I love working with the children and families and supporting in all areas. In 2017 I became a team leader, before quickly changing into a Support & Development Manager and supporting the day to day running of the setting I worked in. I had been in my previous setting for 19 years and a change was needed, I am excited to see where working with Thrive at Happitots Bishopbriggs takes me.
