My son moved to this nursery earlier in the year. He settled in amazingly and always comes home talking about his day and all his friends. Staff are all lovely and welcoming. Outdoor space is huge which is one of the main reasons for choosing this nursery.

My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Morton Mains Early Learning and Childcare for two years, since the age of 11 months. We've had a great experience. The staff are so kind and attentive and communicate well with families. There are lots of activities offered and a lovely outdoor space. It feels very safe and our daughter has flourished there and loves her nursery days. We are so pleased we picked this nursery.

Both my children have been at Bright Horizons Morton Mains Early Learning and Childcare since they were one. My oldest has now left and is at school and my younger child is in the pre-school room. Both children have always been happy at nursery. It is a safe, caring and nurturing environment. The staff are excellent and dedicated to providing the best environment for children to grow, learn and play. The facilities are good - especially with the new garden opening. We would definitely recommend Morton Mains to other parents.

Our son is coming to the end of four years full-time attendance at Morton Mains and we could not be happier that we chose this nursery. Initially, we selected it for location and the impressive outdoor space but what really sets it apart is the care of the staff. We have been so impressed with the care shown to our son by not just the teaching staff in all rooms but all extended personnel who work at the nursery including George the chef. Staff know the children well, genuinely care about getting to know them, support them and challenge them to develop.

Wow! I'm so impressed with the quality of care both my children have received from Bright Horizons Morton Mains Early Learning and Childcare. The staff are nurturing, friendly and creative. They ensure a happy and safe environment for my children to grow and learn. What is most impressive is that the staff who were there when my child was 1 are still there now he is 5 years old. They really go above and beyond and I am delighted I chose Morton Mains. Well done to management and all the staff who ensure such a nurturing, fun and safe ethos.

We have two children at Morton Mains and have used the nursery for the last 4 years. It's a great place for them to learn and grow, these is support for various stages of their learning and welfare. There are regular crafts and outdoor learning, the children are encouraged to be hands on and inventive in their play. We have moved to regular daily updates via an app, so everything from what they ate, nappy changes and photos of crafts and activities. The app is also a great way of communicating and changes in routine or for us to signpost holiday days. The food has always been good and both of ours have tended to eat most of what is on offer, we don't need to supply food (or nappies) which is a huge plus. The staff are always friendly and seek to understand the needs of each child. We'd highly recommend Morton Mains as a nursery.

I absolutely love this nursery. The same staff who looked after, taught and cared for my daughter are now doing the same for my son 4 years on! They are totally on the ball when it comes to the safety of the children. Allergies and medication are exceptionally well managed. Positive and constructive feedback are both welcomed and any questions are dealt with in a timely manner. They are always looking for new ways to help the children learn and develop. The healthy meals they provide are amazing. Staff are second to none and we feel very lucky to have had the chance to have both children go there and looked after so well. Daily feedback about the child’s day is via the app and verbal from the staff at the end of the day. It’s clear the staff have so much fun with all the children. We love hearing the stories of what they have been up to that day. Management are fabulous and involved in each room and therefore know all the children very well. Can’t recommend this nursery enough.

A truly lovely nursery with fantastic staff, good food and a big outdoor and garden area. There’s a huge focus on getting the kids outside as much as possible and a great level of emotional support and learning for the kids. I have two children there who have been immensely happy and the oldest is being well-prepared for school in the summer. There’s a big drive to involve parents in the nursery decisions and the management team are very approachable. Occasionally the communication can be a bit last-minute or slow but it’s improved since the introduction of their app. I’d highly recommend.

The staff are so receptive to hearing things going well or where additional support is required. Both children (4-year-old and 2-year-old) are happy going into nursery and happy coming out and sharing stories of activities and time with friends. Activities are varied and the outdoor space is fantastic for fun and development. The teachers are so kind and my kids enjoy spending time with them knowing they are cared for and supported. I'm delighted to leave them at nursery.

I have two children at Morton Mains and extremely happy with their care. Our youngest has just started and the staff in the baby room have been fantastic, especially considering our little one is not used to other adults (due to lockdown). They have been patient and caring - thank you.

Our other child is in the older room and has been at nursery for 4 years and he loves it. The staff upstairs are so fun and kind. Another massive bonus is the food is prepared onsite and sounds yummy - I think they eat better at nursery than at home. Also, the outside space is fab. I would definitely recommend.

Couldn’t be happier with Morton Mains. The fact my kids run in the nursery door every morning and refuse the leave at 5 pm is the best endorsement of the nursery. The staff are acutely aware of each child’s needs and go above and beyond to support them. The past 3 years has been an extremely positive experience for the whole family.

We have 2 children attending Morton Mains, our eldest attended from the baby room and is now 3 and our youngest is currently in the baby room. Both of our children love going to nursery. The nursery staff are all excellent - they always keep us updated, they are friendly, approachable and it is clear that our children get on well with them all. We have no doubt that our children are well looked after, cared for, encouraged and educated. The managers are approachable and regularly in contact with us. The nursery itself is in a beautiful setting which is perfect for young children. I can't rate the nursery and the staff highly enough, they do a wonderful job and are a hugely important part of both of our children's lives.

We currently have two children attending Bright Horizons Morton Mains Early Learning and Childcare and I would highly recommend it to any prospective parent. The staff are fantastic, friendly, attentive, intuitive regards the children’s needs and have played a positive role in shaping our children’s personalities through play and tailored learning activities with anything from numbers to Spanish. The facilities are great and really open themselves to outdoor play which both of ours love! Rain or shine there always seems to be the option of heading out, growing veggies, building obstacle courses, making dens, mud-kitchen fun and picnics. When our eldest leaves this summer to go to school it will be a very sad day for her!

Our daughter was at Bright Horizons Morton Mains from age 2 to almost 4, starting in the Bumblebees (downstairs) and then becoming a Dragonfly (upstairs). We chose Morton Mains for its location, friendly staff and outdoor facilities - all of which were fantastic.
We paid a little more at Morton Mains than we had at our daughter's previous nursery but it was more than worth it. All of the staff from the management down to the key workers and cooks were absolutely fantastic. They take complete care of safety, learning, development, nutrition and so much more. The various key-workers that supported our daughter on her journey were thoughtful, caring and knowledgable. Lots of little touches made all the difference from free fruit to toothbrushes and toothpaste, little anecdotes from kids and weekly emails to wrap up one week and set out the agenda for the week to come.

I would absolutely recommend Bright Horizons to any parent looking for a warm, caring environment for their child to be welcomed into.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children and most of that time I have been in a supervisory position. I have worked in the voluntary, statutory and private sector. I have completed an SVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education, a BA in Early Childhood Studies and courses with the Open University in Working with Families and Child Development. I believe that continuous learning is important and I encourage my team to attend training.
I have worked with Bright Horizons as a manager since 2008. In February 2015 I transferred from Cramond Nursery to Morton Mains Nursery where I love the outside opportunities for the children.

We try to work with the children and their families and their participation in the life of the centre is very important to me. I think it is great to see the children grow and develop into confident individuals.
