Bright Horizons Livingston Early Learning and Childcare

Honestly couldn't ask for more, my daughter started in the baby room last month and they have been absolutely amazing. The third in charge is fantastic as are all the staff and really make it a joy dropping off our little one! She absolutely loves it and you can see how much she enjoys being with the staff and babies too. From the second we walked in on our tour you could see how much all the staff loved the kids and really wanted to be there! This was coming off an experience visiting another nursery beforehand that was completely the opposite and the nursery manager managed to find the availability to get our daughter into Bright Horizons Livingston Early Learning and Childcare. Couldn't recommend them enough!

My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons Livingston since she was six months old. Since day one, the staff have been so welcoming and great with my daughter. My daughter loves going to nursery, and I can not fault the staff, learning and activities they provide.

Brilliant nursery and the staff are just amazing. They are always so happy and friendly, and my child never has any problems. She always looks forward to going to the nursery on Monday to play and learn new things.

My rating about value for money reflects the value for money everyone receives in the world right now and shouldn't be seen as a negative reflection of Bright Horizons.

The staff who care for my toddler consistently show high-quality care and professionalism. She has recently transitioned into a new room of older toddlers with ease, which has been very reassuring. I can't fault the staff looking after her. Very happy with the activities and daily updates. The photos via the app are a great idea. It's nice to see pictures of what's going on.

My wee boy is in the toddler room and has the most fantastic days while in nursery, always tired when he gets home from his busy days. The nursery staff are amazing with him and the feedback, I can't fault it at all. Loves being outside in the big garden and in the messy/water play area.

My daughter has been going to Bright Horizons for one year and she has absolutely loved it! The girls are amazing and she's always coming home with a big smile on her face, telling me about all the new things she learned in nursery.

The Bright Horizons team have made the transition from home to nursery easy for us. I was initially apprehensive, having never used a private nursery before but my son is happy and supported and to me, that’s really important.

The nursery is generally good, with old equipment gradually being replaced. The outside space has been cut off for a few months, but the new facilities look excellent. There are several different areas for them to play in, offering a variety of play.

We have two children at the nursery and have been really pleased with the care and learning our children have experienced and our experience as parents. The new app is a really welcome addition and is a great communication tool for keeping us updated on meals, maps, activities etc. It is also lovely to see photos of our children and see them enjoying themselves. The new garden looks brilliant. The staff and management are all really friendly and approachable and have been happy to answer any queries. Due to COVID, we have been unable to see inside the nursery until recently, but the visit day has been greatly received, as we were pleased to see our children’s rooms and chat with the staff. The children enjoy their meals and snacks, despite being fussy eaters. Overall we have been really pleased with the nursery and would recommend it to others.

My son loves coming to nursery and exploring new experiences and trying new food. He has made friends very easily and constantly asks to come to nursery. He has said he would like to be a firefighter when he is older.

Very impressed and happy with the level of care and support our child is getting. Pleased with the variety of activities/stimulation. Good to see steady improvement of facilities, garden etc. Hope this continues. All staff are excellent and we feel very comfortable with her being here.

We have been really happy with the nursery. We feel there is a good level of communication and we really like the features of the app and seeing pictures every day. Our daughter always seems happy when she comes home and tells us stories of what she has been doing. She seems to love all the staff and we find the staff very approachable.

My son has been going to this nursery for a year and a half and absolutely loves it. His development has flourished under the care of the staff and he always enjoys going. During Covid, this nursery did an amazing job at adapting to the new rules and regulations and had the safety and health of its kids as a first priority. The best thing about this nursery is the staff, they are caring, loving and upbeat and my son has formed close bonds with his teachers, in each room he has attended. You feel like they really care about your child and you can see the commitment they give every day. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone, as you know your child will be in safe, loving hands.

My daughter really enjoys nursery here and seems to eat tremendously, with great variety, which always reassures me. The menus are great! Her confidence has blossomed and we were supported with toilet training. There does seem to be some staff turnover, which can be tricky in explaining to my child, when she gets attached to people. Staff are always friendly, however, pick up can be stressful if things are forgotten from bags/ app hasn’t been updated with meals /naps and there’s a long queue outside in bad weather. Overall the app is a welcome tool, if regularly updated and seeing pictures throughout the day is great! I would welcome wider use of the app and perhaps a more structured way of facilitating pick up times, for ease of both staff and parents. We have opted to remain at Bright Horizons for preschool nursery, as we really do feel It’s the best place for her.

We’re delighted with how our boys have settled into Bright Horizons, Livingston. They seem to thoroughly enjoy every day and come home with stories of everything they have done. We receive great updates via the app and can see all the varied activities, meals etc. They particularly enjoy the new outdoor areas. The staff know our children well and there’s an overall lovely feel to the nursery.

I can't recommend this nursery enough. My daughter has been attending for almost 3 years and has grown in confidence and flourished into a beautiful mannerly young girl. The staff, from management to key workers, work amazingly as a team and help teach and nurture the kids in their care. My daughter has loved her time here and developed special bonds with all her key workers. The staff provides amazing opportunities for learning with outdoor play and great activities. Keep up the good work, you are all a truly amazing dedicated team and it shows through our happy girl. Thank you.

My experience of your nursery has been excellent. All your staff are caring and lovely. Since my daughter started she has improved significantly in all aspects. Even with her allergies, we were left to feel she was in good care and all worry left us after seeing the amount of care my child received. She loves it and it also gives her time to spend with other children her age as well as the staff and different activities and development every day she is there.
