My son has been attending this nursery since he was a baby, he is now three and a half, and I cannot fault the nursery in any way. The staff consistently go above and beyond in their daily care and in providing valuable and exciting learning experiences. I really love the daily feedback, given through
their app, about what he has been doing and what he has eaten, etc. There is always such positive feedback given at the end of the day when I pick him up too.
The food options are amazing and I love how they sit together and eat, such a great way to help develop social skills.

Fantastic nursery and staff. Very happy with the care, food and activities my niece receives. Very friendly and welcoming environment. Would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to other loved ones or friends.

I am thrilled with the nursery. My daughter started pre-school in January and had a tough time adjusting. The team were so patient with her and gave her lots of encouragement. Every day, I would get valuable feedback about how she's doing and her development. The team go above and beyond for every child.
I get regular updates about her meals, photos and her learning on the app. The nursery is laid out well with each room catering to children's needs. There is a huge garden area split into sections for each age group. Children spent a huge amount of time outdoors learning about nature too. I often have grandparents or aunties doing the pickup and I feel comfortable knowing the nursery takes security measures so that this runs smoothly. There are plenty of opportunities to put forward any information or concerns about my child, knowing that the team will support her. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

I have two children in Busy Bees at Glenrothes and they absolutely love it. The staff at the nursery are absolutely brilliant and the kids love them all. Both kids have been there from a young age and the nursery has been excellent in helping them learn. I would recommend Busy Bees to all family and
friends looking for a private nursery.

I was nervous for my son beginning nursery especially after lockdown and him only really being around me. The nursery staff have all been amazing with updating me on how my son gets on and he even speaks fondly of the staff at home. My son looks forward to nursery which makes me feel so comfortable
dropping him off each morning. The meals they give are excellent and they once built a little car garage out in the garden for him as he loves cares. Excellent nursery due to the staff and their efforts.

My daughter attends the pre-school room at Busy Bees in Glenrothes. She is a very curious learner and the nursery often provides reading materials/resources to further encourage this and extend her learning. She often models the behaviour of the adults at home and seems to be preparing for her next
transition to school. Her attention and language skills have improved too.

My daughter started at the nursery in September and just loves it. Can’t fault the staff and I’m kept well informed of her daily activities. She receives a varied diet and appears to enjoy everything she is given to eat! Most days she doesn’t want to come home!

Friendly approachable staff who are knowledgeable and experienced in working with children and they are always available to talk to if need be. Although parents are unable to go into the children’s rooms due to covid, the nursery uses an app to update parents and use a weekly newsletter both the resources
are great and allow me to discuss more in-depth with my child what they have been doing at nursery. I love getting photos of my child taking part in activities.

All 3 of my children have been to Busy Bees. My youngest will be leaving soon to attend school. All 3 have absolutely loved their time there. The staff are all so friendly, warm, caring and fun. The experiences planned are fantastic. The communication from the nursery is excellent, although parents
are not currently allowed in the building we still feel we know what our child is doing. I cannot thank the staff enough for setting all of our children up for primary school.

My daughter has been going to Busy Bees since she was 9 months old, so approximately 2 years now. She absolutely loves going to Busy Bees. All the staff are very friendly and are always happy to help with any queries I may have. They have helped a lot with my daughter's confidence and the ability to
carry out tasks. A lot of my daughter's progression is down the staff at Busy Bees, and I can't thank them enough. Just to add that Busy Bees provides a variety of healthy food - my daughter is a good eater but I do find she eats better at nursery.

Very nice staff and services. A lovely environment for the children. My granddaughter comes along three mornings a week and looks forward to it. They do lots of activities in each room and have outdoor activities in the play areas, take them for walks into the woods to collect leaves and branches etc.

They have little tables for all the children to sit together to eat breakfast in the room. I find it very good for the children to interact with each other and make it a sociable event. Then lunch times are in the dining hall. They have a starter and then a main course, or a main course then a dessert of some sort. My granddaughter loves the variety and always has extras! which she doesn't do at home.

You are always given an update every day when you collect the children on their day what they have been doing activity wise and their meals.
I have had three grandchildren come through Busy Bees, and every one has enjoyed the nursery and definitely benefited from coming here.

Current Review Score: 2.8 (2.833)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 2.8 (2.833) out of 10 for Busy Bees Glenrothes is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 2.8 out of 5 from 1 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 0 out of 5 from 0 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 2.833 for Busy Bees Glenrothes is calculated as follows: ( (1 Excellents x 5) + (2 Goods x 4) + (5 Satisfactorys x 3) + (2 Poors x 2) + (2 Very Poors x 1) ) ÷ 12 Ratings = 2.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 0 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Busy Bees Glenrothes is based on 0 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) =
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 100 number of registered child places is 20. 0 Positive Reviews ÷ 20 = 0
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
