Little Stars Nursery Stirling

My husband and I are delighted with the care given to both our children at Little Stars. We would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the Stirling area, and indeed we do recommend it to others!

Our daughter started at Little Stars at 17 months (after being at another nursery previously), and is now nearing the end of her time at nursery and will be starting primary school in August. Our son started at 11 months and is currently enjoying his time in the Caterpillar room.

All staff are warm, friendly and incredibly attentive. As a parent you get the sense that they really know your child (and all their quirks!). The staff offer a wide range of activities, both indoor and outdoor. They always seem to come up with fun ideas of topics to explore, activities to try out and in a range of ways e.g. baking, arts and crafts, outdoor play, science experiments, counting.

We are so happy with our daughter's nursery. The staff are amazing and always go the extra mile for her and us. She is well stimulated and we can clearly see her growth and development and her confidence increase since joining the nursery.

The ladies in the dragonfly room are fantastic; you can see they genuinely care about the children. There is always a great range of activities, and they are keen to understand the areas of development you are working on with your child so that they can support you. My child has had some big developmental milestones since starting nursery, and I have no doubt the activities, support and encouragement from the nursery have been invaluable. The ladies are great at keeping us updated, and I love getting the pictures to see what fun activities they’ve been up to!

Our little girl has been at Little Stars for over a year now. The care the staff take of her is amazing, and we know that she is in safe hands. She absolutely loves the nursery. There is nothing the staff wouldn't do to help and are always going above and beyond. The fundraising and other events around special days are always fantastic. The nursery space and outdoor area is outstanding and we wouldn't go anywhere else.

My two sons have both been attending Little Stars since they were one (one's now nearly 4 and the other 2) and they love the nursery. They get on great with both staff and other kids and the staff have been truly phenomenal and life-changing. I don't say that lightly. Our youngest was recently diagnosed with an illness and part of that diagnosis is thanks to the team at Little Stars who identified that he wasn't his usual self. The facilities are up to a great standard, they actively encourage the children to play, read and learn without pressure and are always doing things as part of the community. My boys love the nursery and so do I.

Great nursery with a fantastic outdoor space for the kids. My little one loves it. Staff are great and make sure the children are looked after at all times. My daughter really enjoys her days at the nursery.

The staff is very affectionate and accommodating. Listen and adapt to the child's specific needs. Always give great feedback and updates on children's activities and progress. Lots of different activities and play to help learning and development.

My husband and I started our wee boy at Little Stars Stirling when he was 7 months old. He is now almost 16 months and is thriving. I believe that a big part of him being such a sociable, happy boy is due to the staff at Little Stars. The care is excellent, the staff genuinely care, the management are very flexible with myself and my husband. I feel comfortable leaving my little boy and know that he's loved and cared for.

5 star - My little girl started in the Dragonfly room and is now in the Caterpillar room and the girls take such good care of her. The love and support they give to my baby is invaluable! It’s always hard leaving your child with others but I know they take good care of her and the learning development is amazing.

The girls continuously keep me up to date on her progress and development which has also really helped with learning and playing at home. Although she can get upset when I drop her off, she is always smiling when I pick her up. The staff are always introducing new and fun activities for all of the children and always manage to get them outside no matter what the weather! My little girl is now 18 months and I cannot fault the support we have both had at nursery.

Our little one has settled perfectly at Little Stars and I can't be any happier myself, this nursery breaks the mould of stereotypical nurseries not being flexible, they are always happy to accommodate where they can which is a huge help to us with one parent working offshore. The ladies are always friendly and communication is excellent. Look forward to a number of years for our girl here!

My son loves attending the nursery and his confidence has continued to grow. There is a lot of variety to the day and an emphasis on the outdoors which enriches the overall nursery experience. The staff are very caring which makes a world of difference.

The girls in the baby room and bumble bee room are amazing, I genuinely can see the bond they have with my children and can tell how much they care for them. They are genuinely interested and care for them with love and attention as a parent would. They are always doing activities and they are outside playing too, you get an update of what they have done every day and pictures on the app which I love to see. It’s been hard through covid with my youngest as we couldn’t properly take him in but he loves it. It must be such a difficult job but I hope they know how brilliantly they do! The staff make it.

My little girl has been at little stars for nearly ten months and she loves it! She is so happy going into nursery in the mornings, and can’t wait to get in the door! Activities are varied which is great for little ones! The staff are great at keeping us up to date with her day, and we love the little diary that is filled out every day to see what she’s been up to!

My son has now been at Little Stars Nursery for almost a year, and we are so grateful for the wonderful staff that look after him. Our son is genuinely excited every time we drop him off, and we have noticed such a difference in his communication and development. It makes a huge difference knowing that your child is safe and happy when you are at work, and I would recommend Little Stars to anyone.

From day one the staff have been so amazing with my daughter. I was concerned about her going to nursery due to her young age - but its obvious that she loves attending. She always smiles when I drop her off with a staff member - and it's clear they all really love their jobs! I really appreciate the regular communication too. This is in the form of daily journal notes (what my daughter has been up to, feeding, nappies, etc.), a weekly newsletter, and the online journal (where I adore being able to see photos of my daughter taking part in activites).

Our two boys attend Little Stars and they both love it. The staff are wonderful they are so caring and really take the time to get to know the children. Nothing is ever too much bother. They arrange great activities and there's plenty to keep all the children entertained.

My son loves going to nursery. He has settled in well and loves the staff. He is full time, and we feel calm knowing that he is happy and enjoying himself at nursery. He learns loads and is developing his skills really well thanks to the staff. I like the balanced snacks, and also how the nursery accepted cloth nappies with no problem. Really helpful staff and easy going. Definitely the best choice.

My daughter is happy to go in every time. I would definitely recommend the nursery to others. Staff are always helpful and kind and they all seem to enjoy being around children. Management is helpful and patient and always there whenever I have a question/issue.
