Kingsmeadows Nursery (Peebles) Ltd

The outside space is amazing and a firm favorite of our son. So lucky to have found such a gem here in Peebles.

Our child is very happy at Kingsmeadow's Nursery.

The staff are all incredibly attentive, warm and welcoming to her and have encouraged her to grow in her language, playing and social skills. They treat all children as individuals and we've felt that they've supported our daughter in being able to be herself around her peers, even as a more shy child.

We really recommend Kingsmeadow's Nursery. The staff are interested in working as a team with parents on children's individual goals and we have felt supported in everything from language development, specific skills our daughter has had interested in learning such as walking to support with outdoor learning.

My baby has been attending Kingsmeadows Nursery 3 days PW since he was 3 months old due to having to return to work. With my baby being so young, sending him to nursery was a daunting thought but when I got in touch with Kingsmeadows, the amazing team of staff took away all of my worries about doing so. My baby has been here for 5 months now and we receive daily updates about all of his feeding, (bottle amounts & healthy lunches now weaning) nappies, sleeps & activities, comes home clean & very happy and is hitting/exceeding milestones & developing very well. The management of the nursery is excellent, if I ever have any queries or worries, these are dealt with instantly in a very supportive manner. My baby has bonded well with staff & I cannot fault the care he receives every day he attends Kingsmeadows. The setting is clean, bright, safe & a happy environment. They say it "takes a village" - Kingsmeadows Nursery has certainly been that I know my baby is in the best hands.

My son is now in nursery 5 days a week as my wife and I are working full time. Worth every penny. My son absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff in the rooms can't do more for us and the team in the office are just so friendly and supportive. Can't recommend enough.

Our child has been at Kingsmeadows Nursery since Feb 2021, going from the baby room all the way through to after-school care. He loves it, and we couldn't be happier with the service provided. The staff are fantastic and the facility has great outdoor space they make good use of. They regularly put updates for us to see on the electronic journal and call or speak to us at pick-up if required. The lunches and fruit are varied and enjoyed. Our child has developed his personality and skills in so many ways through play and some more structured activities. We couldn't have asked for more from a nursery and we feel we can very easily recommend Kingsmeadows to anyone for their children.

My two have been coming to Kingsmeadows since they were under 1 with my eldest in their out-of-school club now and youngest in the pre-school room. Management is brilliant always happy to support wherever they can and will keep us informed of changes as appropriate. The staff are nurturing, listening to the children, and acting accordingly. Most recently changing the name of the out-of-school club after a suggestion from one of the children. They gave the kids a choice over the name and encouraged them to design logos which went out for the nursery to vote on. Their outside space is amazing and the kids get out every day. Even the nursery dog is helping my kids get over their fear of dogs!

Kingmeadows is a fantastic nursery. The facilities are great, always spotless, with a range of age-appropriate toys, which they change on a regular basis. The staff are lovely, friendly and caring. Regular updates are provided in the learning journal. My daughter has come on loads since going to nursery, and I can focus on work knowing she is in great hands!

My boys love going to Kingsmeadows. The staff are all very caring and interested in my boys and their development. The boys have access to a wide variety of activities that are always changing and always age-appropriate. They go into the woods and on little trios regularly which the boys love.

Kingsmeadows has been a huge support to us over the years. Having started during COVID with our first it's been so nice to get to know the setting more and more as the girls have progressed through the rooms. Outdoor play is core to the kids' days and the external space is excellent - with each room having their own dedicated space and wooded area. Everyone is super accommodating and they always aim to help with any ad hoc requests which is hugely appreciated in a busy working family.

My son has been at this nursery for just over a year and he loves it. The staff are great with the children and really make the effort to make them feel special and support their needs. I love the fact that each room has its own outside space with gardens and access to part of the woods. There is a wide range of activities for the children, to keep them entertained throughout the whole day. My son has a brilliant time going to nursery!

Kingsmeadows is a welcoming, encouraging and caring nursery setting and it has been a wonderful experience for my daughter who has attended for three years. My daughter has a medical condition which requires ongoing monitoring and the staff at the nursery have always given me complete confidence in their observation and treatment of this. It has a 'family feel' and the children all appear to have lovely relationships with the staff! Couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

The staff know the children individually and my children speak fondly of the staff that have/do care for them. Whenever I have had the need to speak to the nursery (few and far between), the staff have always been responsive and open.

Throughout December, our daughter enjoyed a variety of fun activities and treats which she thoroughly enjoyed. As parents, we particularly enjoyed the Carol Concert which was held outside, allowing the children to share their learning with us. We cannot recommend Kingsmeadows enough and have been delighted with the nursery. Thank you to all of the hard-working staff who make the setting what it is.

Fantastic nursery, my eldest went here for a couple of years and loved it! I've just started my second child here, and the staff have been so lovely and welcoming. The nursery is really well-resourced, with lots of indoor and outdoor activities and spaces. Staff are all very caring and I've found all communication with the nursery has been dealt with very quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

We could not be happier with the services at Kingsmeadows Nursery! The staff are really what makes this nursery so special. All the staff members seem to genuinely care for the children and have a really lovely relationship with them. Highly recommended!

My little one has been at this nursery for just over a year and she loves it! The staff are fantastic - really make the effort to connect with the kids and support them as individuals. Great management team as well. They are very responsive to any questions or problems. The whole Kingsmeadows team really genuinely seem to care about the kids and it shows in how much my little one loves going to nursery!

I have 2 kids at this nursery. They have brilliant staff who care about the kids. They communicate lots of information and feedback on my kids and on other general nursery information. They listen to changes in kids' schedules or dietary requirements and do everything they can to help.

Over the past 3-4 years, my 3 children have all experienced fantastic care at Kingsmeadows Nursery. Each staff member who we've met across all the rooms has been so caring, nurturing and kind and has always been attentive to our children's needs. I also especially love how they make use of their great outdoor space!

We have used Kingsmeadows Nursery for all three of our children so have experienced over the years of the baby room right up to the after-school club. We have always been impressed with the standard of care, the staff are excellent, both caring and fun, and my children are very happy here. I love the fact that there is access to outdoor space from all of the rooms - the children can go out to the garden/woods as well as having lots of activities inside to keep them stimulated. In the baby room, they do sensory activities and artwork as well as a lovely music garden which they all seem to love. Can highly recommend!

Great nursery. My son has been going here for 3+ years and has always loved it. The staff are wonderful and look after the children well and show real interest in each individual. They come up with plenty of creative and interesting activities that are appropriate for their age groups. They even have a separate outdoor space for each group and access to woodland surrounding the settings. My youngest one is now attending the setting too and is thriving. I genuinely trust the staff and that both children are benefiting from going here. Communication is easy and the team is very supportive.
