Chuckles Nursery

Chuckles is a homely, secure and uniquely situated nursery. Set in an acre of land with half of that dedicated purely to outside play for all ages, it has a country feel yet only two miles from the M4.

The Nursery follows the New Curriculum and believes fully that children should learn through exploration and ensures they have the materials, equipment and surroundings to enable that. Outdoor play is high on the daily agenda and the areas are designed to inspire every age group.

Family run since 1999, attention to detail is important. All rooms are monitored via CCTV cameras (14 in all).

The nursery cook prepares healthy well-balanced cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea time snack in line with Welsh Government Healthy Eating Guidelines.

In December 2023, Chuckles was graded in all six areas following a joint CIW and Estyn Inspection. In June 2024 the Nursery won National Day Nursery Association, Nursery of the Year Wales. Read less
