My son has attended Robins since October 2020. He settled in well due to the level of care and support that was given to him from the outset. He very quickly became happy to go into the nursery, and he always comes out with a smile on his face! I love the weekly blogs and appreciate the regular observations
that keep me up to date on my child’s development and give me ideas as to how to support this at home. As a teacher in a pandemic, I am acutely aware that childcare and education settings are under constant pressure. Robins communicates clearly and quickly about any developments that may affect our children. I, therefore, feel reassured that my child is in safe hands in worrying times.

Our son joined the babies group at Robin's Day Nursery in November 2020. We were a little nervous because, throughout this pandemic, he has had very little interaction with others up until this time. We're thrilled at how well he has settled in and how comfortable he is with the staff.
The communication
is great, and we particularly like the app. It's easy to use and keeps us up-to-date with our son's progress and daily activities.
The challenges of this pandemic have been managed well. The measures that have been put in place and are followed give us the knowledge and confidence that a nursery is still a safe place for our child.

I would not want to send my little boy to any other nursery. The manager and her team are the warmest, welcoming and hardworking team, who throughout the pandemic, have thought outside the box, bringing us activities, recorded videos of the children's favourite nursery rhymes and storybooks. They have
gone above and beyond to support us as a family when we had a change of circumstances. They provide a nurturing, warm, educational and fun place to be for my little boy. The meals they provide are nutritional, the nursery is always clean, bright and proudly shows off the work of the children and photos of the fun they have there. The outside space is fab. I enjoy the regular photos and observations that are communicated through the app, especially through the pandemic, it provides the incite you to need as a parent. I feel as comfortable leaving him there, as I do with the family.

Overall, we find the quality of the care exceptional, the staff superb, and the environment bright, welcoming and filled with natural resources. Under the managers' leadership, Robins has gone from strength to strength in 2021. It is wonderful to see the drive towards ‘plastic-free’ and outdoor play.
My son is able to influence the activities; his happiness and development are taken seriously.


More specifically, the whole team have been amazing through the Covid crisis. The manager has taken great care to proactively communicate with parents, often picking up the phone to chat to us personally about the situation. She has set clear guidance to help keep children, staff and parents safe while preserving a great experience for children. They have gone above and beyond to post updates out of hours and around the Christmas period. During the first lockdown when nurseries were closed, they kept us entertained with stories, songs, videos and activities.


Our room leader is fantastic.

My daughter started at Robins in November following her childminder of 2 years getting a new job, at first I was nervous and thought she wouldn’t settle easily in a nursery setting but I couldn’t have been more wrong. The nursery is fantastic and she settled in amazingly even asking if she could go
on days where I was off work! The staff are fantastic and I love being able to check on how she is through the app, there is also a fabulous outdoor area. I highly recommend Robins.

Robins, and all of the lovely ladies, are simply outstanding. The way they have managed and shielded the kids and parents throughout this pandemic has made such a difference. The sacrifices the team has made should be commended.
I have twin boys. They are a handful. They are bright and full-on and
love going to Robins! They come home happy, healthy, rosy-cheeked from fresh air and tired! Result!
The main thing Robins gives me is total peace of mind. Definitely an extended family. Thanks so much!

Robins has taken wonderful care of our son from when he started there at just over 1 year old to now in pre-school. The staff are lovely and genuinely caring and he simply loves going in each day. The manager manages the nursery excellently and the approach since re-opening after lockdown has been brilliant.
We have every confidence our son is being prepared really well for school next year and so grateful he has had a great start in his education and development by attending this lovely nursery.

We moved our daughter to Robins as soon as they re-opened following lockdown. After a period of being at home with us, I was very apprehensive about how our daughter would settle into Robins, but the staff could not have been more supportive or welcoming and they made the entire transition so much easier
than I was expecting. The standard of care our daughter receives is excellent and the staff who look after her and the other children are so lovely, caring and attentive. The nursery has lovely outdoor spaces and the children spend lots of time in the garden which is really important to us. They also get to take part in a wide variety of activities and I know that my daughter is never, ever bored at nursery, which makes going to work for the day so much easier as a parent. We are so pleased with our decision to choose Robins and look forward to watching our daughter grow and develop whilst forming friendships there over the coming years.

We’re delighted that our son has a place at Robin’s Day Nursery. A lovely setting with a close-knit feel, fun-filled, nurturing and supportive learning and developing environment. Staff have been most welcoming, accommodating and most of all, incredibly understanding of the current anxieties parents
have due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We leave our son feeling reassured that he is very well cared for and the regular communication from the staff has been wonderful. Thank you all so much.

Great nursery, fab staff, perfect setting, there isn’t much more I can say. It is certainly not the closest nursery to where we live, however, it is definitely worth travelling the extra few miles to get too.

Robins Nursery is a friendly, fun nursery.
My son can be a bit of a live wire and they go out of their way to bring out the best in him.
They put a wide range of activities on for the children.
My son really looks forward to going there.
He really enjoys the food.
He also has really lovely nursery
practitioners.
He also really looks forward to seeing some of them and his friends.

I have chosen to use this nursery for the care of my child after using it for my first. The approach to care is holistic and it has a very caring nature. The use of 'real things' to encourage child development is a plus side for me and the new natural décor and furniture allows the children to learn
in a calm atmosphere. The staff are all happy and caring and I feel happy they are looking after our child whilst we have to work. Our child feels safe and very rarely gets upset leaving us. It's like a 'home from home' setting. Communication is good and we are constantly updated as parents. The nursery is encouraging parental/family involvement where possible and is providing opportunities to meet staff and other parents on a regular basis.


Thank you for making our need to work and leave our child an easy transition for all of us, you do a great job!

Sarah is the Manager of Little Trees Day Nursery St Arvans. She embarked on her journey at Little Trees 12 years ago as a nursery assistant. Her passion and dedication to early childhood education quickly shone through, leading her to Room Leader, then Deputy Manager, and now to her current role as Nursery Manager.


With a wealth of experience at each level, Sarah is deeply committed to creating a nurturing and engaging environment where children can thrive.
Sarah loves seeing the children learn, grow and flourish within their environment and watching all of their individual journeys unfold. When not working Sarah enjoys spending time with her young family and going to the gym.
