Daisy Day Nursery - Llanishen

We were regular attenders of Daisy Daycare until September 22, when our children left due to school catchments. Having now experienced other childcare, we can categorically commend Daisy on their very well managed and run nursery. The organisation and responsiveness of Daisy is impressive and has very clear and fair pricing. Our children have returned for Camp Coconuts during the summer holidays and they were treated like royalty. We are very pleased that Daisy has been there for us as a family over the years.

Lovely setting, safeguarding a priority and great key worker who knows my child very well. Child takes part in painting and creative activities as well as going on trips and walks to the local area. A good experience so far, thank you!

I would wholeheartedly recommend, and have recommended, Daisy Day to others.

My son has been at Daisy Day Nursery since 2020 and he loves it. He has food allergies and I have always been confident that the team know what to do if he does have a reaction. It also makes me happy that even though some of the food needs tweaking for him, it never sounds like he's missing out as the meals sound great. But most of all, the care and attention from the team have really struck me, he genuinely seems excited to go in in the mornings.

not sure what research this is based on. Most children have an allergic reaction to a drug within the first hour since taking it. My mum is a specialist allergy nurse and I just don’t understand the reason for this policy. And having asked staff they don’t understand the reasoning either. My child has been on the same antibiotic eye drops two or three times and has had to miss nursery because of this ridiculous policy! It causes huge stress to parents who have no other childcare. We’re also paying for those days our child is not looked after by the nursery. This policy needs to be looked at asap.

My daughter is 2 years old and started at Daisy Day Nursery at the start of COVID-19 due to us being key workers. She has never been to a nursery prior to this so I was apprehensive. My daughter absolutely loves it there. She’s happy going in and talks about the staff when she gets home. The food is incredible and the activities are brilliant. I particularly love the app so I can see what my daughter has eaten etc throughout the day. I’ve decided to keep my daughter there long term despite being registered for a nursery closer to home! Highly recommended.

We attended the nursery as a short term, due to the pandemic. All the staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming right from the start, even knowing that this was going to be a short term arrangement. We would have been completely lost without them. My daughter absolutely loved her time there and we were at complete ease with her being there. The app was updated hour by hour, which was also really helpful. It was also clear that everyone involved with my daughters care had taken the time to read her forms and got to know her straight away. Also as new faces to the nursery, we witnessed robust safeguarding and security for pick-up and drop-offs. Can not recommend this nursery more and so grateful to all the staff for keeping their nursery open during such challenging times.

This is a lovely nursery with large indoor spaces and a sizeable garden. The staff are very flexible with specific requests and we are also able to take advantage of the wrap around care to a local school.

Lovely clean nursery, all new equipment, lots to stimulate children of all ages. Large, safe areas to play indoors and outdoors, easy to park. Regular faces of staff.

Also, the wrap-around service is fantastic when you're a full-time mum like me. And the app they have, when you're in work they send photos and what they've eaten. It's worth every penny.

However, I needn’t have worried as he has settled really well and now looks forward to going every session! I’m sure this is down to the lovely staff and the calm and nurturing environment he is in.

Nursery staff appear friendly and professional. The nursery itself has a positive atmosphere. Communication between myself and staff is good whether it via email, phone or face to face. The nursery accommodating for my little one's needs.

My 2-year-old daughter has been at Daisy Day for the last year and she absolutely loves it there. Every nursery day, she is filled with excitement at seeing the staff and her friends, as a working mum, I couldn’t ask for anything more! The new facilities are amazing as is the outdoor space, there’s always plenty of activities going on and the staff are all fantastic with the children.

What can I say, my daughter attends Daisy Day during the half terms. She's 8 now and will be back for Oct half term. She enjoys being at Daisy Day so much, always loads to tell me about her day. Staff are fabulous and are always happy to help, great bunch of girls and management are so easy to talk to and answer any questions you have. 100% best nursery my daughter has gone too.

We have been thrilled with the level of care and professionalism exhibited by all staff in Daisy Day, Llanishen over the last year. The childcare staff are friendly, approachable and committed, and have provided age-appropriate care and activities for our child. We have used full-day care, wrap-around and soon will be placing our daughter in Camp over Summer. We wouldn't hesitate to use Daisy Day again in the future - our child has been very happy there and that speaks volumes about care provision. Thank you, Daisy Day!

My daughter has been very well cared for during her time at Daisy Day Nursery. The staff have always been very caring and full of life. I am amazed at how much my daughter has grown as a young lady since joining. It is now time for her to move on to school nursery and I am sure she will miss everyone at Daisy Day Nursery. Our daughter has been attending Daisy Day Nursery since January 2019. We find that now that she has settled in, she's always happy to arrive at nursery and is happy when we pick her up. Our daughter seems to like individual staff and always seems happy to see them.

I would thoroughly recommend this nursery to any parent who is looking for a nursery for their children to go to as you will receive a very warm welcome and feel like you are a part of the nursery already.

My granddaughter attends 2-3 mornings per week and I collect her. When I arrive she is always happy and smiling, which says she is enjoying nursery. The staff are lovely and facilities good. Also, we are kept informed about nursery and how my granddaughter is doing. We looked at many nurseries and were happy with Daisy Day Nursery from our first visit. Would recommend to others.
