Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons)

My twins started at Plantos at 9-months-old. They’re always very excited when we get out of the car and walk towards the nursery, so for me, that’s a great sign. They are interacting with other children their age and doing loads of varied activities. The staff are great and keep me well informed about everything that is going on. Highly recommend Plantos.

Good communication throughout the day.

Staff are super friendly, helpful and are quick to respond to emails. Daily updates are also very helpful in tracking meals, nappy changes and sleep time which helps when picking up the baby and understanding their needs when they get home. Very satisfied overall.

My son started nursery when he was thirteen months old and he settled right in and loves it. The care and attention that they receive is quite good and reassuring. Staff at Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons) conduct a number of activities with the kids which helps him progress with his development and learning. The nursery also uses an app which allows viewing of your child's progress for each attendance. The app allows you to view their learning and development needs, send messages to staff and vice versa, as well as view the pictures that staff have taken of your child to see what they have been up to.

My daughter has been with Plantos Nursery for almost two years now and I couldn't have chosen a better nursey for her. The staff on-site are absolutely fantastic, fun and caring. My daughter only attends one day a week and it's her favourite day of the week. It definitely feels like a home from home for her and although she only attends one day a week, you can still see the difference in her development. The staff update the app on what my daughter has been up to in the day so that I feel involved. The nursery is flexible and they always accommodate my daughter.

My son has attended the nursery since the end of last year for full daycare and wrap-around sessions from a local school. I cannot rate or praise Plantos and its staff any higher. They do a fantastic job even in the stressful times we are in at the moment with the pandemic. My son loves to attend which reassures me he has an amazing time when he is there.

Excellent nursery, my son loves attending and looks forward to his Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons) days. The staff are absolutely lovely and will often go out of their way to be flexible for us, which has been a Godsend over the last year. I would definitely recommend.

The nursery staff members are so friendly, fun and helpful. They respond really quickly to any emails you send them or can be on the phone at any time during the day. Parents are sent daily logs which include details on what your child has eaten throughout the day, when they have slept, nappy changes and what they’ve been doing with their day. It’s so lovely to read these to feel somewhat involved in their day at nursery.

My daughter has attended Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons) since January and she absolutely loves it! The app keeps me up to date on what she’s doing and eating while at nursery which gives me peace of mind and all the staff are very friendly. Highly recommend.

I cannot fault this nursery at all. My son has been there since he was six months and he is now three years old. The staff are exceptional and they inform you of what's going on with your child. The different activities the kids do both indoors and outdoors are amazing, I sometimes feel I'd like to join them. The online presence and updates are fabulous. Communication with parents is excellent. My son loves his nursery so much. They have been fantastic during the pandemic. If I had a second child, there is no doubt they will be going to Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons).

Lovely people, who are friendly and caring. I was so nervous and anxious about taking my child to nursery but I have no need to worry about leaving my child there. He loves them all and they do so many activities. He comes home worn out!

Even though my child doesn’t go here often, the staff always recognise both him, my partner and I. They always make him feel at home and he is a happy boy every time I pick him up. Massive thank you to all of the staff.

My son has been going to Plantos for just over 6 months after moving from another day nursery. I'm so pleased he settled in so quickly and enjoys his days here. It's a friendly and homely setting with vast garden space, my son loves playing outdoors with his friends! That was the major plus for us when choosing the nursery, but the staff are also a big credit and are really approachable and helpful. My son has developed so much and even during the pandemic I feel confident that he is safe at Plantos. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for childcare in the area.

Great nursery. My child has thrived there over the past few years. The staff are dedicated, kind, loving and my boy has developed good bonds with many of them. He thoroughly enjoys his days at school and I'm reassured by how the management team respond to feedback, have made improvements to the setting over the years and introduced a specialist learning and development management role for both the children and the staff. Keep up the great work!

Excellent nursery, staff have been great right from the beginning. Very friendly and always have plenty of activities on the go every week. The app also keeps us informed of the day. He enjoys going every week and loves the staff.

Child-friendly, excellent support from the staff, good outdoor facilities and activities. Easy access to the nursery, good and secure, excellent diet plan, excellent communication and updates from the staff regarding the child's day to day activities.

We joint Plantos nursery in October 2020 and I can confidently say that staff and management have done an excellent job in my husband's and my eyes. We love the approach they have taken with our child and all the support they have provided us with. It is a great nursery to start your child's journey into adult life.

Approachable and friendly staff who keep you well informed of your little one's day via the app or when you pick up. They offer a lovely menu and have a great nursery, I know my son absolutely loves it there.

Our daughter loves going to Plantos. As full-time parents, it is extremely reassuring to send your child to a place where they are well taken care of. The staff are excellent. I highly recommend Plantos and have suggested it to everyone who asks me for a good nursery.

Very good nursery, no issues whatsoever. They offer an early start as well. Good food and activities. EyLog app is very useful. Have worked very hard throughout the pandemic to ensure we could keep working in the hospital.
