Plantos Nursery (Old St Mellons)

Our daughter loves going here and has some firm friends. Regular updates are great and informative update at the end of every day is great. Also use for holiday care for our boy that also had great fun here. Brilliant!

The staff are very warm & welcoming. They always communicate well with us. They've helped our little one settle in very quick which made it easier for us as first time parents.

It's nice receiving our little updates whilst he's there and we can see how much of a good time he's having!

Our son enjoys attending nursery and has a regular key worker who provides us with updates throughout the day.

Very very happy with Plantos Nursery

We have had our child attend Plantos Nursery for nearly two years after assessing several nurseries within a wide area. The people, atmosphere and environment felt right at the time. They have provided a very good level of care and we are comfortable to leave our child with Plantos. They help with our childs social skilss, are caring and notify us daily as well as in our collection with specifics of the day. The staff are caring and pleasant and this is reflected in our childs behaviour after nursery attendance.

The staff are lovely, welcoming, and always communicate really well with us. They've helped our little one settle in quickly and made us feel comfortable leaving her for the first time! It's so nice to know our daughter is in safe hands and getting wonderful support and care.

The photos and updates on the app are great to see, and the communications are really useful. Overall, I've had a great experience with Plantos!

We have two children currently attending Plantos and both absolutely love their time there. The girls are all incredibly supportive and encouraging of our children through every step of their development.

Staff are warm and welcoming which provided me and my partner with lots of reassurance. We whee apprehensive at first as first time parents leaving our child but, their doing really well having new experiences and it's great seeing them grow.

I couldn't be happier with the care my child receives at Plantos nursery. The staff are exceptional-warm, patient, and truly dedicated. It's clear they're valued too, with thoughtful touches like shout-out boards that create a positive atmosphere for everyone. I also love how inclusive the setting is: flags from different countries help children feel represented, and everything is beautifully bilingual in Welsh and English. The activities are fantastic, from creative play to outdoor adventures, and my child always comes home excited about their day. Communication is excellent, with regular updates and photos that keep me connected. My child absolutely loves attending, and the nurturing, supportive environment gives me complete confidence in the wonderful team.

My son has been with Plantos since 9 months old and thrives here. He loves to go in to nursery and they have helped with any and all issues that may have come up. I am now pregnant with baby number 2 and wouldn't hesitate to send them here when the time comes.

My child recently started at Plantos, and the staff have been fantastic at welcoming him and throughout his settling in they have been patient and understanding. The team are happy to answer queries to abate any concerns I have. I'm grateful to the team for making the transition of going back to work easier.

My child has attended Plantos for almost 3 years now. I'm extremely happy with the care that Plantos has provided over the years and we will be very sad when my son has to leave to go to nursery full time in September. My daughter has been attending Plantos since she was just six months old, and she's now two and a half. Every single morning she walks in with a beaming smile on her face, and that says everything to me.

When I pick her up, she's always so happy and excited to tell me about her day - the painting she's done, the exploring and free play, the songs she's learned. I love receiving photos of her throughout the day, capturing those special moments. It genuinely amazes me how often she comes home with new words, counting skills, or knowledge about animals and things I know I haven't even taught her yet.

Beyond the learning, her social skills have blossomed. She's grown in confidence and feels completely comfortable in the nursery environment, and that gives me such incredible peace of mind.

They have an Amazing Staff, my Son settled in very quickly into nursery. Supported him to be independent for his age. His key workers always encourage and ensure he eats well. I fully recommend Plantos Nursery.

We've been absolutely delighted with Plantos. As first-time parents, the whole process has been incredibly reassuring. The team are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children's wellbeing-you can see it in how settled and cheerful the little ones are. The key workers assigned to each child work so hard to build a strong, trusting bond, which really shows in how comfortable our son is. We really enjoy the regular updates through the app and the photos they share, as I can see the enjoyment on my son's face.

Plantos is excellent and their care for the children is evident day to day. My child couldn't be happier here and I can't recommend it enough for new parents or families looking to leave their little ones!

We could not be happier with Plantos, our daughter started nursery in March and the whole experience as first time parents has been wonderful. The staff have a genuine, caring nature towards the children, which is obvious when you see how happy children are at the nursery. We love getting updates through the app and love hearing about the daily activities.

The children are well cared for in a thoroughly safe and nurturing environment. As a retired early years teacher and former member of an Estyn Inspection Team I love looking at the wide range of Child Centred activities the Staff arrange for the Children each day. Plantos always looks wonderful and they do great activities with the children. My child's learning development has come on leaps and bounds.
